I would say in response to the person saying don't come due to migrants at Los Olivas Beach Resort, my husband and I have been here for over 2 weeks in June (the same time as the person writing the review) with another 2 weeks left to stay and we have not been bothered by any 'migrants' in the resort. We also think it is a positive thing to help people less fortunate than ourselves. There are always security guards around the complex who are quite discreet, but in the 2 weeks we have been here, sitting around the pool a great deal of the time, we have not witnessed a single incident where security guards have been needed. Only hotel guests and staff are around the pool and in public areas of the resort and this really is a peaceful and relaxing place to be. The resort is clean, the apartment we are staying in (a silver apartment) is clean, comfortable and is of a good size for me and my husband. I am a wheelchair user and on the whole, the resort is very accessible. I use an electric wheelchair and I would say that some of the slopes are a little steep for wheelchairs but there are lots of different routes around the resort so finding an accessible route is not difficult. The kitchen in our apartment is quite basic with minimal utensils but we have managed to make good meals with what is available. There is a combination microwave oven and a 2 ring hob which is adequate. Another added bonus of the resort is that it has excellent WiFi in the apartments and around the poo l and public areas at no extra charge. We have been able to watch Netflix on my laptop with no problems or interruptions. The pool area of the resort is brilliant! We have always been able to find a sunbed no matter what time of day we have arrived at the pool and the Balinese beds are a luxury! The pool is heated and always clean and a joy to swim and cool off in. The lifeguards make sure that the sunbeds are cleaned every time someone leaves their bed, ready for the next person. The location of the resort is fantastic! Costa Adeje is a really lovely area with beautiful scenery and buildings. The mountains create a stunning backdrop and the sunsets are amazing. The beach is just out the front of the resort with lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. We walk to the beach at El Duque which is approximately 10 minutes walk away and it is beautiful with golden sand, free public toilets and great accessibility for wheelchairs and pushchairs. All the beaches within walking distance of Los Olivos that we have visited have been totally accessible to wheelchair users. Every beach has wooden walkways making it easy to get onto the beaches with wheelchairs and pushchairs. In fact, the whole area of Costa Adeje is extremely accessible, very well thought out for people with reduced mobility and pushchairs. Most of the shops are accessible to wheelchairs, far more than in the UK generally and this has been an added bonus to coming to this holiday resort. Pathways and roads are all very accessible with dropped kerbs everywhere making it very easy for me to get around. We still have almost 2 weeks left to stay and we couldn't be happier with where we are staying. We have not been disturbed by noise and find the complex very peaceful overall. Location, resort, restaurants and beaches, all within a very short walking distance are all great and I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a guaranteed sun holiday.

Thank god we are leaving soon, the apartment complex has shipped in migrants with lots of security guards. They obviously don’t care about those on holiday. What are they doing to Tenerife tourism? Don’t go there.

My partner and I booked into Los Olivos following a two week stay at another hotel in Costa Adeje. This was to extend our stay whilst the misery in the UK continued. We opted for a Deluxe Gold Room which had the additional advantage of a roof top solarium. Being a self catering resort there is very little support with luggage which, to be honest, was a real pain on arrival as it meant man handling four heavy cases up a series of steps and slopes to our allotted apartment. Our apartment comprised of a main living area with the cooking facility spread along one wall , a separate bedroom, bathroom with walk in shower and a small balcony at the bottom of the spiral staircase that took you to the roof solarium. We had been given the impression the room had been refurbished which I believe was the case as far as decorating was concerned however the furniture seems a bit old to me. There was a small 20 inch TV in the corner on which you could be BBC1 and ITV1 on a good day. The catering facilities included a fridge with a small freezer compartment, a microwave oven, two hobs and a sink unit. There was ample cutlery etc for two people. Our steps lead down to the pool area so the room we very convenient. The pool was a reasonable size and there is a bar open most of the day as well. Location wise the hotel is super with the promenade only a short walk away. All in all this is a great little resort which would be perfect if it wasn't for all the steps and slopes.

We stayed here for Christmas 2020, we were staying in a hotel the previous week but due to COVID had to extend our trip and wanted somewhere with self catering in case everything got shut down. We chose Los Olivos after visiting a few complexes locally while we were still staying at the other hotel. The pool area looked nice and the location is really good, close to Fanabe Beach, literally 1 minute to walk from door of hotel to the sand, via the bars and restaurants of the beach. We chose a deluxe apartment with sea view and hoped to get a frontline sea view. When we checked in we found that all the frontline units are (private?) villas and we could not have them. We were given an apartment on the side of the property, half way up the road. It had a large roof terrace which is very overlooked by others and a balcony which looked over the road. There is a sea view if you lean over the balcony and look left or if you are on the roof terrace. I wouldn’t consider the apartment ‘deluxe’ but I appreciate these things are subjective! We weren’t given much information about the place when we checked in and there was no one around at reception when we checked out so I just dropped the key and left. We did get a welcome note and the program of entertainment etc pushed under our door on the morning of checkout.. If you stay here you do get access to the Lagos complex next door, this looks really nice and the pools look pretty there. We weren’t told we had access, we figured it out as we went along.. The La Tosca Italian restaurant is also part of the Lagos and is really nice, the staff there were very friendly, the food and particularly the cocktails were good. The room, and particularly the furniture, was a lot more tired and tatty than the photos on Booking.com suggested. The mattresses were very hard, my wife could not sleep the first few nights despite adding extra duvets, blankets & pillows to the mattress. In the end, we took the mattress from under the sofa bed and added it to the pile which helped her sleep, even if she did look like the story of The Princess & The Pea! The blanket supplied in the wardrobe smelled of sick so that was a bit off putting! The coffee table looked like it had been smashed up and hastily screwed back together on more than one occasion! We stored our clothes in the small wardrobe but there was quite a rain storm one night and it turned out that there is a leak from the roof terrace into the back of the wardrobe which unfortunately caused most of the wife’s clothes to get wet.
