We have just returned from a week at Malibu Park. 20 minutes in a taxi from the airport. Reception is manned 24 hours. Receptionist was efficient & we had our cases taken to our apartment for us which was helpful as its a big complex. Access is via a key card (€10 deposit) that you scan to activate the revolving door so it is all secure. We had a studio apartment which was very clean, comfortable & the tv had English channels. All enquiries & cleaning requests during our stay were via WhatsApp which is a great idea. The pool area was busy every day & the only gripe we had was that as soon as the sunbeds were unchained they were claimed then left with towels on for long periods which meant you’d need to be there at 9am or you wouldn’t get one all day. The pool was cold but not as bad as some we’ve been in & once you’re in its fine. It is generally a relaxing quiet place, lots of residential apartments on site, the Splash bar is handy, food is very reasonably priced & tasty otherwise its a ten minute walk down ‘cardiac hill’ into town. We are in good health & that hill is steep!!! Taxi back up is about €5 from town. The resort itself is lively & a good mix of pubs, shops & restaurants. We’ll definitely be back!

Decent enough place for the price I suppose. We decided to spend a little less this time and chose this hotel in the Adeje area, It was grand I suppose, we asked at check in if there was the option of an upgrade, and the guy didn’t really want to deal with that so we just had the room we booked, all good, no big deal. Basic enough spot. Very dated room. All old, crap, wonky furniture. Biggest downfall for us was the pool area. Lots of people putting the towels down really early carry on. But the actual pool itself was really, really cold. Like you wouldn’t want to get into it for long. We had a 6 year old with us and he couldn’t stay in for long, and no one seemed to want to be going into it. And the “lifeguard” who just sat there eating and on his phone all day for the whole week, except when he comes over to tell people their chair can’t be a little bit on the fake grass area. No interactions with anyone. I tried asked him about the pool temp one time and he just spoke back in Spanish and shrugged his shoulders. Odd set up in my opinion. Yeah, other than that, it was a basic room, pull out sofa which was very old, stained and uncomfortable. Enough gear to make yourself lunches etc, but as I said, all old stuff. Bar/restaurant closes up at 15:30 most days, but it’s the low season so I get it. They need to start updating the rooms and do something with the temperature of the pool, even just a few degrees would make a world of difference. Could hear other people were also talking about it being so cold. I don’t know is if it’s a cost cutting/inflation thing, or common If anyone knows?

The apartment was nice except for the cockroaches and the beds , we spent 10 days there but never got any house keeping no clean sheets or towels even though we asked . They did spray round for cockroaches but as soon as light was out they were back out in force. I was supposed to get a disabled room but it wasn’t very wheelchair accessible. I had to use a plastic deck chair in shower , no grab rails etc. couldn’t use the wheelchair in the bedroom it only got as far as the door as the beds were in . I would personally say it’s not a wheelchair accessible apartment . Some of staff were really friendly some bit grumpy .

Had a lovely stay at the malibu park when arrived had a stanard room but there was some building work going on which woke us around 0730 everymorning so they gave us option to update to a premium room at €100.00 which i fell should have been free due to the work going on in the above apartment. that aside.... the pool was clean pool area and lifeguards all so helpful when needing beds etc. the splash pool bar was really nice staff so so friendly and the food was lovely huge portions always tasty and well priced. the reception staff were just amazing anything was never an issue and a quick response on whatsapp . if your thinking of this apartment def give it a try. its around a 5 to 10 min walk down to the san eugenio area where there is loads of choice of food and bars and a short walk down to puerto colon area too

We have had 9 nights here and due to leave tomorrow! I’m only giving this three stars for many a reasons but I can’t honestly fault the staff! They go above and beyond. The apartment was an upgrade to a luxury apartment with A/C there is a few little issues that need to be looked at regarding maintenance in the apartment. We used the WhatsApp service and had clean towels every other day, and had our beds changed twice. The pool area, always a lounger available with a parasol. The negative side of things!….A group around the pool, there language was appalling, every other words, began with a “f” and the occasional “c” word. I’m no saint but come on have some respect for other paying guests.… we are all holiday!! There was a guy who come down to the pool every day, spitting, clearing his nose in the palm trees…..absolutely knocked me sick! Let’s hope when others have holidays out here, you have more respectable guests.

What a fabulous stay, communications with staff were excellent, even to the point we had left & our transfer turned up, (We had a different address for return transfer) the staff contacted me to inform me, love the fact you use what’s app for all requests. Loved our room, very modern, clean & next to the pool. The pool was so chilled, no Sunbed wars, or reservation of sun beds allowed. The pool bar, was great, lovely food, breakfast especially, drinks plentiful & reasonable. Quiet round about, but some lovely family run restaurants walking distance. Hotel arrange taxis for you asap & security is 1st class, we normally would stay in las Américas, but this is our new come to chillax x hasta la vista 💞

We arrived at Malibu park quite late , check in was smooth and we were given cold bottled water . Our room was stunning with a amazing view . Washing machine , dishwasher all mod cons . Comfy bed Negatives : no air-con , the room was like a sweat box it was our honeymoon and we had to sleep in separate beds as the main bed was in a alcove you can’t walk around the bed you have to climb in and that made it feel hotter . Charged €25 for a fan . Apartment is cleaned on request we requested 5 times and it wasn’t cleaned once . Shower would have been great but Water ran out into the hall so we had to use towels to mop up and were without towels as were awaiting cleaners . We decided to check out early .

Second visit her but this time in an apartment as opposed to a studio. Perfectly adequate for a cheap week but certainly no frills. Had a bit of a language barrier with the late evening receptionist but using his phone app we got by. Apartment was pretty dated and no air-con but served the purpose. Balcony was spacious and got the sun most of the day but we used the poolside mostly. Pool and outside bar very nice. Had a couple of lunches and a few beers. Prices very reasonable, not like most hotels or apartment sites. Many of the units are privately owned or possibly originally time-share and I think bar may be run for their benefit rather than profit. All in all had a good week. Excellent choice for a cheap week.
