Just returned from two weeks at the Colon Guanahani. A wonderful, relaxing experience with a comfortable (superior) room, first class food and helpful, friendly staff. Whilst conveniently located in the centre of Costa Adeje, the hotel is an oasis of peace and calm. Being adult only creates a gentle and fairly dignified atmosphere. No screaming or shouting around the pools and always a sun bed available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our annual January Winter Sun Holiday at this Hotel. Ideal location Bahia del Duque end of Playa Fanabe. Quieter end of the resort but within 5 mins walking distance of the beach/local bars. Adults only property perfect for a relaxing break. No sun bed reserving. Friendly/attentive staff. Small pool side bar with reasonable prices, drinks & lunch. Outside Terrace dining area for Breakfast/Dinner. Wide choice of food both at Breakfast/Dinner of a High Standard. Spotlessly clean. Generous sized rooms. Roof Top Pool for catching the last bit of sun perfect at the end of the day. If we were to be picky the Inside Dining area/reception could do with a little modernising. Have recommended to friends.

Second year in a row at this hotel as we enjoyed it so much last year. Very relaxed vibe. Rooms really big and comfortable. Lovely pools, with the rooftop pool only a couple of steps from our room with lovely sea views. Staff all very friendly. Hotel is well positioned for surrounding restaurants, with an excellent little supermarket across the road.

Just returned home, the hotel is great. Check in was quick. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were bed and breakfast, the choice was fantastic definitely something for everyone. Everything was hot and fresh. The rooftop pool is amazing, there was even a phone to call the downstairs pool bar to order drinks. Lots of lovely comfortable sunbeds with plenty of room roundabout them My only negative about the hotel was there are no plugs near a mirror for drying your hair unless you use the one in the bathroom it didn’t spoil our holiday though. We would definitely return.

Perfect hotel. Not too large, well positioned, lovely helpful staff who have nearly all been there for years. Kept immaculately clean and everything beautifully presented. Food is excellent and drinks and wine very reasonably priced. I took my wife there five years ago and she loved it. It was every bit as good this time with my daughter who said it was the best hotel she has ever been to.

We have just spent 4 weeks at this wonderful peaceful adults only hotel . We stayed in a pool facing room . It was worth the extra supplement . Their housekeeping team are amazing . This hotel is so very clean . This takes sheer hard work to maintain it to such a level . The swimming pools are the best . Heated and they are a joy to swim in . Two pools on the ground floor with lots of beds and parasols . Well done to the pool supervisor for removing towels off saved sunbeds . He is very generous and allows over a couple of hours for guests to appear . If not the towels are removed . We never experienced any problems finding a sunbed . Lots of towels available . Also a pool on the roof with lots of sunbeds and parasols . Another sitting area with beds and parasols is on the third floor . So much choice We were half board . Wonderful choice of food to suit everyone. Show cooking by very helpful chefs . It was glorious. Amazing eating space outside. The waiters were very smartly attired and so very helpful . Thanks so much to the team. Breakfast offers a huge selection anything you could wish for . Again staff very helpful. It is around a five minute walk to the sea and a promenade with cafes etc . Evening entertainment was varied . Easy listening music . Something to suit everyone . Different artists every evening . The pool restaurant is to a very high standard . Linen tablecloths and a very varied menu . Also pool service was excellent . Again many thanks to the team . The rooms offer plenty of drawer and wardrobe space . I do not travel light but there was room for everything . A bath and a walk in shower with lovely fluffy towels . Huge television on the wall for if you fancy watching a movie . An excellent choice of U.K. Channels . Many thanks to you all for making our holiday amazing . And the weather was 28 days of sunshine . Adrian Hotels certainly know how to look after their guests . Our room was 310C . Bernadette White
