The apartment we stayed in had it's own sauna and jacuzzi! Fabulous extras. The spacious rooms and fully furnished kitchen allowed us to settle in quickly. We had twin beds pushed together which was the only the only downside, I would recommend the hotelier invest in double beds for couples. The pool bar food wasnt great.Entertainment in the evening, due to the time of year it was quiet with guests so we took the 10 minute walk down the road and across the motorway which took us directly into the centre of adeje. The apartments are set on a steep incline which is a good walk if you want to burn off the food and drink! Or just 6euros in a taxi. We visited the spa on site which is 5euros for an hour even though you are staying at the resort, this is a shame as we would have liked to use this more. Sara the lady who looked after us made us welcome and resolved any questions or help we needed. Overall these apartments are wonderful and I would recommend to pay them a visit.

Selected this hotel because there had been such a lot of good reviews. When we arrived we were told that the restaurant and spa were closed until further notice and all the entertainment was cancelled. This was a surprise to us as this was not on their website or mentioned at all by RCI. Room was clean however was very basic. We had a sea view which was very nice and the pool area was very spacious. We were surprised too that even though we were told pool towels were provided we had to pay 3 euros for each one. Food and drinks were served during the day from the pool bar however menu was very limited. Location is quite a way from the beach approximately 20 minutes walk which is fine going down however uphill coming back which could be a challenge to some especially given the heat. We were woken up every morning at 3am when the lorry came to empty the bins! Overall it was ok however was tired and lacked atmosphere. Wouldn't go back to this hotel but liked the resort overall

We arrived at the Regency and were welcomed by lovely Sarah, booked in quickly and in our apartment by 11:30am. We stayed here two years ago but in the Neptuno which was great but we used the facilities and pool at the Regency. This time it was lovely to stay on site, we had room 167. This was in a row of three accessed by steps from the garden. The unexpected surprise was having our own Sauna and Jacuzzi next to our bedroom. The apartment also had a lovely shower, well equipped kitchen and comfy lounge with TV, and a large terrace with outside table and sun loungers. We enjoyed our time by the pool and especially Happy Hour at the pool bar between 11:30 and 12:30. We joined in with the aqua aerobics and other poolside games. We used the well equipped gym and spa. The pool bar did sell and cook snacks through out the day if you so wanted. We took part in the Barbecue evening on the Monday at 10 euros each which was lovely and Mr Sister the entertainment for that evening was brilliant.

The hotel's shuttle bus which ran through out the day was a real bonus and we used this on a few occasions to get to the beach and into Los Cristianos We also used the local supermarkets both in walking distance and two smaller ones next to the hotel. Plenty of restaurants nearby and on the seafront.

We so hope to be able to come back to Tenerife for our usual week of January sun next year, and will be back to stay at the Regency, why stay anywhere else.

We arrived at Regency Torviscas on Monday 16th March, having spent the previous week at a complex over in Golf Del Sur. With the Spanish government introducing the Covid-19 lockdown over the weekend, we wondered what awaited us, but the welcome we we received from Kaisa (sorry if it’s spelt incorrectly) was so uplifting and lifted a huge weight off our shoulders. We had arrived really early, but the positivity from Kaisa was so refreshing. She told us to relax, have a coffee and she would get us a room as soon as possible and true to her word she did. We went to our room (55) which was a 1 bedroomed, self contained apartment, very clean, spacious and had everything you needed. Due to flights back to the UK being cancelled within the forthcoming week, we experienced at first hand how good the staff are at Regency Torviscas, as without the help of Sara we wouldn’t have got a flight back home. Terrific support also from Catty (again apologies if I’ve spelt your name incorrectly)
Nice little store on site, with everything you needed and no queues! Also a lovely on site bakery. The only downside was that with having to fly back early, we didn’t get to fully experience this lovely, friendly complex to the full. Once this is all over, Regency Torviscas is the place that we will head to.
Thank you all so much for your help and assistance and we wish you all the very best in these difficult uncertain times.

We loved staying here for our 14 night stay, we are booking again for this december,
after reading reveiws we was unsure but it was brilliant, it is up a hill but it cost us €4.60 back up the hill it took us 15 mins to walk down to all the shops and restaurants, the views from the balcony are amazing!! And we like it as we don't drink so it's far enough away from the music ect.. but close enough to access everything, the bedroom was 2 single beds pushed together but just separated them for the kids, we slept on the sofa bed which was comfortable enough for us,
any issues with tv got fixed quickly by maintenance man, the pool is great with a deep end for adults and a shallower end for kids, play area, sun beds everywhere, shop on site we love the guy jn the shop is amazing!!! All the staff at hotel are so polite and willing to help with anything they can, cleaned all the time with fresh towels every other day and if needed more just had to ask, everything you need for self catering, and just around the corner theres another shop for inflatables, and other foods ect...
It was perfect for us 2 adults 2 children can't wait to come back in dec

Stayed for 1 week from day 1 we were persicude by the life guard we sat no further than 2 meters away from pool and jacuzzi.. belittled me by coming over on numerous occasions to tell me to watch my kids which I was doing baring in mind one child had a float the other could easily touch the floor with feet I was in safe distance to get to them in an emergency I would understand if we where getting drunk but we didnt have any alcohol at all or I was asleep but was on full alert at all times hence why it made me so angry... this made my kids scared and uncomfortable to play and have fun also angered me to feel judged as a mother. I have no idea what that life guards job actually was accept persecute people with kids an flirt with women. never felt so uncomfortable sitting by a pool in all the hotels I've been to... rooms where clean food was ok staff where nice but the pool area has put me off ever returning back to this hotel plus no entertainment for the kids in the day time what so ever I would not say this was a kid friendly hotel it's more like a swingers hotel for the older locals!! Wouldnt advise anyone to come with kids ideal if your after a break away without them!!

I took my nana out here for the first time as she hasn't been abroad in over 30 years. I cannot thank the staff at the regency more, always checking up on us to see if we were okay. Sara was amazing and was always up for a good chat. I stayed in a studio and the sea view was amazing. Everything was there what we needed as we were self catering. There is a cheap supermarket near by. The location is up a hill so wouldn't reccomend for people who moan about walking. It's a 10 minute walk down to playa fanabe beach which is always a great day out followed by some amazing bars and restaurants. Will definitely be returning to Regency again.

Had a great holiday, stayed for 19 night. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful, caring more than accommodating. ‘Sara’ the hotels customer rep was lovely- always had time to answer our questions, both about the hotel, local life and Tenerife. We needed to move room as there were too many steps for me to manage, due to having a bad back- the hotel staff bent over backwards to accommodate our needs and we were given a ground floor apartment very quickly. The apartments are so well equipped, nice decor and immaculately clean, even the beds are comfy.
The pool area was very relaxing and Happy hour, a couple of times a day, was great,
We loved our stay here so much, we have booked to return in March for 3 weeks and are hoping to book again for December.

Following two negative reviews I was extremely concerned about our planned stay at Regency Torviscas, particularly as I have low immunity. I arrived armed with multiple cleaning products and fully expected to request to have our accommodation changed. However, following close inspection of our apartment and receiving the warmest of welcomes, we had no need whatsoever to request a change in accommodation. Our apartment was well equipped, although I have to say I never yet found the iron or coffee maker. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom and shower more than fit for purpose, with adequate and regular provision of clean towels and toilet tissue. The apartment was serviced five days a week, with bed linen changed four times during our two week stay. The terrace was huge, with comfortable seating a dining table and an airier to dry washing. The pool area and all the grounds were very clean and well maintained, with the chill out areas extremely comfortable and clean. All the staff without exception were pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Yes the location of the apartments are an issue, being on an extremely steep hill. As mentioned by other folk, a taxi costing around five euros was, for us, a must, for our return journeys when we had ventured away from the peaceful atmosphere of Regency Torviscas.

Currently on the last day of a three day break in the sunshine while avoiding horrible weather in the UK.
We booked a package through Sunshine Holidays at just under £500 with flights from EMA.
Arrived at the apartment after about a 40min transfer and was pleasantly surprised by the set up.
Checked in in a few min and our room was ready for us. Check in was very easy and the reception staff were friendly.
Rooms are a good size, we had a one bedroom apartment and I have to say it is one of only a few I’ve stayed in where you could actually cook a family meal if you wanted to.
Beds ok, two singles pushed together, lots of sockets in the room.
Living area spacious with L shaped sofa (bed if required) and lots of storage for is someone is staying on the fold out.
Pool is lovely and warm enough to swim in at the time of the year, lots of loungers around the pool and also cabanas and sun beds dotted about around the apartments.
Bar is good and reasonably priced, €7 for a cocktail. Snack/pool bar good too.
There is a supermarket and bakery on site and both great. We had two coffees and pastries on a morning for about €8.
Some people comment on the walk into/back from town. It’s downhill all the way so that’s fine, the walk back could be tricky for some but it took us 14min last night. We have taken a taxi back too when wearing less substantial footwear and the cost was €5.

In short It’s been really good. We have a bit of a rule that we don’t go the same place twice (as the world is there to be explored) however we will break that rule and come back for some winter sun as soon as possible.
