This was our 8th visit to this hotel. The hotel is immaculate, slippers dressing gowns and plenty of towels are provided in the spacious bedrooms. There is a safe provided in the room and bottled water each day. The beds are divine, so comfortable. Ice machines are available on each floor and the welcome bottle of wine and fruit was very much appreciated. The pool area was cramped as the hotel closed off a large portion of the grass at the front of the area, this lead to a week of us all being really squashed up , no room between sun loungers. Breakfast buffet was ok but the evening meals were not great, we have booked bed and breakfast next year.

Just back from another visit to this lovely place - a very well run hotel with lovely staff. Great location and good facilities with a calm atmosphere that can be therapeutic! We'll definitely be back and are already looking forward to it.

Spent a week here in September and have to say it's up there with some of the best hotels we've stayed in.People comment on it's "dated" appearance but they are missing the point. It is based on traditional architecture and I rate it highly. The staff were always polite and amiable and my son who speaks Spanish loved interacting with them. It was my wife's 50th and they made a small cake for her and they gave her a free facial at the spa which she loved(but she did say the spa looked a bit dated with missing tiles etc) The bedrooms and bathrooms(we had 2 rooms) were huge and the room itself was suberb with lots of space for clothes both hanging and drawers. There is a free safe and a fridge behind the wardrobe doors. Coffee and tea are available with a coffee maker but no kettle(so how to make a cup of tea?). The bed was enormous and comfy but the pillows were very lumpy. A small but perfecly usable balcony overlooked the hotel next door. The bathroom has a double sink, bath with attached shower head, a walk in shower and seperate toilet. Two free bottles of water are supplied each day.The rooms were cleaned each day and were immaculate. The reception and bar area are furnished excellently with lots of comfortable seating. There is a small gym which my son used and found it perfectly acceptable. The tennis courts are over the road from the hotel. The pool area was suberb with enough sunbeds for everyone.Palm trees and foilage make it a pleasant place to spend the day relaxing. The towel hut opens at 9am and you are given a card when you check in which you exchange each day at the hut. The parasols have a button on them that if you press it then the waiter going around can see it and get your order but this is hit and miss. The pool wasn't too cold and was clean but it seemed to have a lot of chlorine in it(stinging eyes!) The Vivace pool restaurant served great food for our dinner(average for 3 people with drinks about £40).At the back of the hotel you can exit onto the promenade via the gate(which you get back in with your key card) and this is a lovely walk either to Caleta (10-15 mins) or to the el duque shopping plaza with its many shops. There are a few restaurants along the way towards here all looking out onto the ocean. The hotel itself is situated in a quiet part of town with a few bars and restaurants nearby but to get into Fanabe plaza or Playa de Las Americas or Los Cristianos just get the 467 bus(turn right at the Jade Stone walk to the top and the stop is on your right). It costs 1.50€ per person to go all the way to Los Cristianos and is an easy and cheap way to get around. I would definately come back again.

Just spent a week here with my wife and 2 kids. The property is superbly situated just next to the beach and a short walk to La Caleta with some fantastic seafood restaurants. The food and drink offering within the hotel was of a very high standard and special mention goes to Joe who always kept your glass full while enjoying the sun! Accomodation was comfortable and modern and ample space for the four of us. The staff throughout the hotel could not have been more helpful whether it was reception ( thank you to Sharon the duty manager ) breakfast, club lounge or the kids club. Inma and her staff from the kids club were absolutely fantastic throughout our stay and made a fuss of our little ones. 10 out of 10. Would definitely return!

We bought an upgrade on our room and this was nice to have a sea view with sunbeds on our balcolny but this hotel needs lots of work. We stayed in the riu palace in july and this was very modern compared to this hotel. The pool and spa are very dated and need work doing to them as there are mussing tiles and shoddy old pool bottoms. The breakfast was ok but not as nice as the riu. It was a quiet hotel if you dont want anything going on but relaxation.

Dear Y1744DAianl, Thank you for choosing Sheraton La Caleta for your holiday in Tenerife and for taking the time to review your experience. We regret to learn that your experience at the resort has not fully lived up to your expectations. Please rest assured that your comments have been noted and will be followed up appropriately. Although, we have to say our hotel has a different architecture, which is more traditional and blended with nature, it's not a modern-style hotel. We hope to welcoming you back in the future. Kind regards, Sheraton La Caleta Team
