...The location of the hotel is always good there is a number of excellent restaurants in the shopping centre 5 minutes (if that) and the beach front is roughly 15 mims which is on a hill so going down is fine coming back up with a little one did seem a lot longer 😀 over all an excellent hotel would highly recommend to anyone...

...The rooms we had were on the seventh floor, very uncomfortable plug sockets didn't work unless the light was switched on which was no good if you won't to put your phone on charge over night... The rooms may be cleaned daily but not that well as we had to move the sofa as I dropped something behind it, the dust and dirt underneath was unbelievable... Couple of issues here, firstly they are happy to allocated out rooms with faulty AC, knowing that these rooms are family rooms and uncomfortable, secondly the manner the issue was dealt with, if we’d simply been relocated and say it was a simple mistake...

Entering the room was two single beds, no cot or bed for our two children... Room dated as people have previously stated, broken floor tiles etc... however it was clean, and clean towels and bedding was provided daily by the maids, who knocked on at 9am daily to offer there services (slightly early in my opinion) We didn’t try the food on the complex as were self catering and preferred to walk into adeje which took approx 5/10 mins downhill with shops etc on route down...

...Overall we had a nice enough stay but i think there is certain areas that need to be improved, especially with the hotel been classed as 4* We arrived just before 10pm at night and it took about 40 mins to get to our room, we were waiting around for concierge, it would have been nice to be offered a drink while we were waiting... We got quite a few small ants in the room which wasnt ideal when they were on the kitchen sides The wi-fi isnt great either so had to purchase extra data... I appreciate it would be a big expense to put and iron and ironing board in everyroom but i wouldn't expect to have to pay to hire it out There was a couple of occasions where they ran out of tea bags at breakfast... I think the hotel has huge potential but there is certain areas that just need some TLC!...

We arrived at the hotel around mid-afternoon, but our room wasn't ready but were given the key to keep luggage safe until it was... I'll start the review off with the room... We were given a room on the ground floor, looking onto a wall, didn't get any sun throughout the day and had grass in front of the door which got covered in mud due to the sprinklers going on over night (we weren't told about the sprinklers)... The room itself was fine, the sofa had been converted into beds for our kids and were able to be moved about as desired, so we made it into a double bed for the kids to sleep next to each other... Overall it was an enjoyable stay, but the room (621) location was a bit of a let down, especially as it got no sun at any point...

First impressions were good we liked the style being typically Spanish although in my opinion having stayed it various 4 star hotels I think the rooms are more on the standard of a 3star don't get me wrong they are very clean just a few touches lacking we had a couple of loose floor tiles and a socket hanging off the wall !!... ...We had breakfast at the hotel regularly and we are very glad we didnt go all inclusive, the breakfast was very poor but the little one enjoyed the pancakes. If you are staying the babushkas bar next door does a great breakfast and is much cheaper than the hotel its self... We bought drinks a few times around the pool and even though we paid for them they were very much off branded products and tasted iffy so we ended up just buying drinks at the mini market on site and Hyper Dino next door... All in all i would say the hotel is bang average at best, we booked this due to going to america next year and this was a cheap European break for us and it was just that, you get what you pay for!...

No drinks provided at dinner which is standard I think but water should be free not 3 euros each every night... This hotel is defo not a 4 star, with only 2 sockets out the whole room working, fridge and freezer barely kept anything cool, the outside furniture was much to be desired (this was actually dealt with whlist there) the rooms are dated and I've stayed in better for the money paid the sunbed issue is a joke if your not down there at 10 you won't get one... We requested to downgrade to Self Catering which they agreed however Jet2 have offered me a refund of £17.50 for two week holiday!... The drink costs are a joke 3 small pineapple juices nearly 10 euros!... Cheaper to have a drink on the beach front or a beer!... If you want good car hire or excursions I recommend Michael at his shop next to babushkas bar, you will find it down the slope leaving hotel from the left... I would not recommend this hotel we paid over £3000 and wished we gone to our normal place Pubelo Torviscas...

...Great Hiper Dino supermarket next to hotel... Lots of expensive upmarket options for couples, then cafe types when we wanted something more in between but would recommend torviscas spice village, el makami, limoncello and Tasca la vida... Quite shocked to read the prices some people have paid for this hotel so maybe that’s why they are scoring it 1 star... We paid £1600 for 4 of us for a week with easyjet holidays... Worth booking through them rather than jet 2 or tui which always seem to be significantly more expensive...

We had a bungalow, yes these are a bit dated and could do with a refresh, but then it probably wouldn’t be £1700 for 3 people full board for 8 days... For the same period the Gran Adeje was around £3000 so it’s all relative...

...If you want a restful couples holiday - go somewhere else! I did not pay very much for this holiday as I booked well in advance using an airline special offer... ...Horrible stained cheap white patio furniture, needed a jet wash, or better still putting in a skip. The bathroom needs a complete refurbishment, very dated and rundown... Staying in a 4* hotel that couldnt be bothered to fix the 2 broken stars says it all really... Pool area very clean and tidy Cheap drinks (always a plus) as we was paying for ours, better spirts, not crap Location is great, reason for our second stay... We paid just under £3000 for b&b and didnt think this was value for money Unfortunately we wouldnt return to you again ...

...Spacious downstairs with the sofa splitting into 2 beds, kitchen which was equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, hob and fridge freezer a dining area and the added bonus of a downstairs loo and shower. The first floor had a double bedroom and a large bathroom with shower and bath... Villa was lovely and clean and comfortable, it had a lovely spacious garden with sun loungers and a whirlpool... Nice to have pool towels included for free and to be able to swap them for free also... Grounds of the hotel were clean and it has the feel of a typical Canarian town...

...Overall we had a nice enough stay but i think there is certain areas that need to be improved, especially with the hotel been classed as 4* We arrived just before 10pm at night and it took about 40 mins to get to our room, we were waiting around for concierge, it would have been nice to be offered a drink while we were waiting... We phoned reception and they said they would send someone out that night which didnt happen, so had to chase this the next day (This was then resolved pretty quick) Unfortunately the beds are not very comfy and arnt very stable... Some nights service was slow at evening entertainment and we would have to.wait a while for drinks None of these points ruined our holiday, these are just areas i think need addressing to improve your hotel Overall i found the hotel was clean, especially the communal areas... We arrived at the hotel around mid-afternoon, but our room wasn't ready but were given the key to keep luggage safe until it was. Had to ask again around 3pm if it was available yet, and waited a further 30 minutes... The room itself was fine, the sofa had been converted into beds for our kids and were able to be moved about as desired, so we made it into a double bed for the kids to sleep next to each other... Staff very engaging, smiling and happy... During the evening entertainment it can get busy, which is understandable, however there was a couple of times the staff missed our table a good number of times despite serving in the vicinity (it was table service)... There was plenty of snacks down at the pool bar for the kids whenever we had a pool day also...

...Adeje holds a special place in my heart as my mum's ashes are scattered on the beach and my wife never got to meet mum so this was a very emotional trip.We were made to feel very welcome from the second we arrived (in torrential rain but nevertheless). We got to the hotel about 11pm and were checked in within a matter of minutes... We were given food even at that late hour ... The food was great and varied (even including my new favourite, sushi), the restaurant is really well run and again you are looked after (can I have the recipe for the chicken noodle soup please)... Due to the rain on the first few days, we treated ourselves to a spa day on the Monday and it was worth every penny (or cent I guess)... Also the woman who worked on the bar at the pool at the top of the hotel (the little pool right at the back) who was not Anna needs some lessons from Raphael,Gusto or Anna, she was nothing but miserable for the first few days but did seem to get better just before we left... Thank you to you all for the lovely gesture of the Happy Honeymoon card and fizz...

We only used the main pool so can’t comment on the other one… there was plenty of comfortable sun beds, the pool was a good temperature, and it was nice and clean... Plenty of choice and as far as all inclusive goes it was nice and tasty... However, the snack food at the pool bar was a bit of a let down, but it didn’t matter because there was always the main restaurant to visit... We stayed in a one bed apartment towards the back of the hotel and the room was enormous and really well presented... The bathroom was amazing, it was such a bonus to have a big bath, and we had a massive wraparound balcony... Our daughter was on the sofa bed in the lounge but I am told it was incredibly comfortable... It was helpful to be able to credit our room account for things we got at the bars... That is where we spent each day and it was very chilled and lovely... There is a separate pool bar serving it... We were able to get sunbeds everyday on the pool edge so we could watch our daughter swim and play safely... The facilities for children are good and the drinks are reasonably priced especially in the restaurant... I think it's great that the hotel are flexible and let you swap lunch for dinner because we did appreciate eating out a few times in the evening... There were tonnes of fish so if you love that you will not be short of choice... The entertainment was ok and and the cleaners worked so hard... The maintenence of the complex must be hard because of it's size but the lifts and other things needed attention... If you want posh holiday camp holiday with the kids, then this might be the place for you... We chose a bungalow based on the GF website .. lovely garden area with sun loungers with mattresses on them; two bathrooms; fully fitted kitchen …... Ours had paved patio with sun loungers without mattresses; requested them from reception to be told the manager “would not allow us to have some as they would then have to give mattresses to all the other bungalows!!!... There was a fridge, 2 cooker rings, a microwave/grill with no instructions or dishes/bowls that could be used as cooking dishes; a frying pan but no spatula; no bowls suitable for cereals; dustpan, but no brush; no tea cloth ... Our patio overlooked the swimming pool which had music and commentators going on all day long making quiet lying in the sunshine impossible...

There was plenty to do to keep our three year old entertained: pools, soft play, slides and parks, bouncy castle and the mini disco in the evening... ...I had initially requested a room with a "view" as I was travelling with my young kids, and my partner and I like to sit at night and have a nightcap whilst the kids sleep... The room itself was fine, the sofa had been converted into beds for our kids and were able to be moved about as desired, so we made it into a double bed for the kids to sleep next to each other... Plenty of space in the apartment, great shower pressure, kitchen with fridge and dining area for kids to sit at... The apartment was very close to the pool and pool bar (but this closes at 6pm)... The pool area was great, always plenty of space around the pool for the kids to have fun without it getting over crowded... Entertainment sporadic throughout the day, although our kids were a little young for most of it, there were plenty others enjoying it... Entertainment at night was good for everyone, mini disco followed by a show... Kids loved the mini disco... Staff very engaging, smiling and happy... Breakfast was typical for an all inclusive Spanish holiday and I think we had lunch once in the main restaurant... There was plenty of snacks down at the pool bar for the kids whenever we had a pool day also...

...We had a nice stay at this hotel but it is more of a 3* in my opinion, i went with my partner and 9 months old baby and there was a couple of problems during our stay.. one was with the air con (basically non existent) so we complained to reception and they sent someone up to fix it right away, it was fixed for a day and then it went back to being pretty poor.. we didn’t complain again as we assumed it was because the aircon is a bit outdated, same goes for the room.. could definitely do with updating, the paint was all sticky on the bath tub but everywhere was very clean... We still had a really enjoyable stay despite these issues.. We loved that our room was by the baby pool and the top pool as it was easier for us with our little boy... The location was great and there were lots of bars, restaurants & supermarkets all around... There was lots to do for kids at this hotel and it was mainly families staying there when we went so probably not great for couples or older people... I thought it was lovely that they built some little houses for the cats at the hotel and kept them well fed, they were no bother to anyone and were really friendly... The pool was a tad chilly but once you was in it was fine and they were very clean with lots of sun beds... The beds were very comfortable & the travel cot they provided was also comfortable & our baby slept great... I wouldn’t return as aircon is a must for us especially as it was 26/27 during our stay and with a baby i didn’t want to have to worry about him getting too hot so that was real let down for our holiday...

We had a week long stay at GF Isabel and we really enjoyed our stay... Rooms are well equipped, personally we didn’t agree with the “outdated” comments, finding the both the resort and rooms have a cohesive theme, if you’re someone who prefers modern style then this probably won’t be for you, but we found it to be quite welcome... We were self catering so didn’t have the buffet but we did have snacks at the pool bar one day which were okay, wouldn’t have them again but they were fine... There a supermarket next door which opens at 10 but it is quite expensive... There was entertain on every evening and the few we did see we enjoyed mostly...

...We had a lovely stay at GF Isabel. When we arrived our room wasn’t ready so they offered us a free drink and said it was worth the wait... We were on the highest level which meant we had a lovely view of the pool and the sea... It was nice they offered us a drink whilst we waited rather than just telling us it wasn’t ready... Much better for meat eaters with the variety of meats but still enough/ a lot for vegetarians too... The main pool was big with plenty of sun beds which were incredibly comfortable with a big padded cushion on them... We were also able to use towels provided by the hotel for the pool and beach which was lovely... They had different activities going on each day to suit children and adults but without it being disruptive to people who just wanted to sun bathe... As other people have said the rooms are slightly out dated decor wise but they were still very comfy and full equipped with everything you needed, and spacious...

...We got to the hotel about 11pm and were checked in within a matter of minutes. The shower rooms are very cramped and very humid, they would benefit from some air-con!... Also the woman who worked on the bar at the pool at the top of the hotel (the little pool right at the back) who was not Anna needs some lessons from Raphael,Gusto or Anna, she was nothing but miserable for the first few days but did seem to get better just before we left... That little pool would be better as an adult only pool as we childless couples need a little peace and quiet and the rooftop solarium, although nice , is not quite enough... Thank you to you all for the lovely gesture of the Happy Honeymoon card and fizz...

...Once inside we found ourselves in what was more a village than a Hotel, with every facility you could wish for, beautifully cared for public areas, an immaculate apartment with everything you could possibly need, including an electric orange juicer - never had one of those before. The pool area was massive, with more than enough sunbeds and a well-stocked bar and shaded seating area... Towels were provided free of charge for pool use and there was even a lifeguard on duty...

Never wrote a review before and I have been to a lot of amazing places but I feel this place and its staff deserve one! Travelled with my partner our 2 kids age 5 and 1 and my mother in law. I was so worried the weeks before arriving after reading reviews as it isn’t the accommodation i would usually go for but I booked it as needed a large room for 5 and a heated pool. We absolutely loved it and we can’t wait to go back, my daughter says it was the best week of her life! Room was spot on clean and spacious and didn’t see one single insect as stated in reviews, maids were excellent. Pools were definitely heated. Food was fab my partner is very picky and had a plateful every night! They even lent us a stroller for the week for my daughter. I was terrified at the mention of the cats but only seen one or two all week and didn’t bother us, there is deffo a kids club for English located opposite the bar at top relax pool. All staff super friendly reception, restaurant, bar, shop, maids and even life guards spoke and made an effort and was kicking the ball with my son!! Entertainment team 5 star!!! Never experienced anything like it they all go above and beyond such lovely people but special mention to Adele who my daughter formed a special bond with and made her holiday one to remember. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants near by as stated in other reviews we tried the slow boat Chinese over the road and WOW it was amazing and can’t stop thinking about it. We will be back GF Isabel

General: - Room number signs aren’t easy to see in the dark so these either need to be bigger or there needs to be more lighting - Spotlessly clean throughout - The pool doesn’t open until 10am but everyone has a lovely little terrace or balcony to sit on so it’s not a problem, and it was good to see the security guards in the case if anyone dared to break the rules! - The noise from the animation team around the main pool is very off putting however that didn’t last for long each day - The small pool at the opposite end of the complex from reception is, advertised on the complex’s website and app as “designed for those seeking peace and tranquility”. I’m not sure what’s tranquil about a horde of screaming kids. If it’s advertised as peaceful and tranquil then someone needs to police this. Why can’t it be made an adult only pool? There is an adult only terrace and whirlpool but I want a dip in a pool, not a whirlpool. With a huge main pool as well as a children’s pool with climbing frame in it, there are plenty of places of the kids, it would be nice to have a proper child free space. - The breakfast buffet is vast with a huge choice however it’s chaotic when it gets busy - The spa was a little disappointing. I booked the special offer of reflexology and head massage for €55 (45 minute treatment). Neither were particularly good, no decent pressure and it almost felt like the therapist didn’t know what she was doing. The head massage was just her stroking my face, rubbing my earlobes and running her fingers through my hair. If you want a really great massage, just go to the beach and see one of the Asian ladies who walk up and down. Twice as good at half the price. Room: - Very large bungalow (although it was on the first floor!) with everything in it. The only thing missing is an iron! - The pillows are like flat pancakes but once you fold them over it’s OK - There wax plenty of wardrobe space and draws - The beds are 2 singles pushed together and they move very easily which isn’t great! - The TV has English channels (BBC etc), not that we spend all day watching the telly but I like a bit of noise while in the bungalow (although the weather wasn’t great so these’d not much else to do!). However the signal kept going so it was very on and off which is annoying. This seemed to happen at 6pm every afternoon. - Our bungalow (661) had a lovely private terrace overlooking the pool, but not all terraces are that private. Even though pictures on the hotel’s and Jet2 websites showed sun loungers, there weren’t any when we arrived, but we asked and 2 were brought up very quickly. Unfortunately our terrace didn’t get much sun. If it had it would have been perfect! - The decor is a little dated, but the curtains were changed half way through our stay, and we noticed new sofas being fitted in other apartments, so they should make the accommodation look a bit more modern - the cleaners came in every day to change towels etc but they didn’t actually clean. Area: - 2 small well-stocked HiperDino supermarkets within a 5 minute walk - The beach is a 10-15 minute walk, although it’s quite hilly! - There’s a shopping centre 5 minutes walk away with a HiperDino supermarket as well as some lovely restaurants (A Thai restaurant which was amazing, a Mexican that was OK, an Indian which was disappointing, and an Irish bar which was anything but Irish!!) Overall we had an enjoyable holiday but if we go to this resort again I’ll look for an adult only hotel, or at least one with an adult only section/pool.

We booked a bungalow after reading the Jet2 holidays page for this hotel. What appealed to us was the layout of each bungalow which included a couple of sun loungers and table and chairs. We were allocated a bungalow which was up 3 flights of stone steps shared with another bungalow. Stairs were quite dangerous when navigating them in the dark as the lights weren’t particularly bright. Unfortunately we didn’t have any sun loungers just a table and chairs tucked away in the corner. We did ask at reception if they could be supplied but were told they didn’t have any spare, disappointed to then see a stock room on the same day which was full of brand new sunbeds) Our neighbour had their table directly opposite our bedroom window which meant we couldn’t open our curtains during our stay for our privacy. We also couldn’t open our doors either as they were always smoking, even with our doors closed we could often smell smoke in our room. The bungalows were incredibly clean and the cleaners were fabulous and very friendly. Nice comfy beds but we struggled with how dark the rooms were as only side lights in the bedroom. On a number of nights we were woken during the night by young babies crying as we were upstairs from a young family. We only ate breakfast (handful of times) the dining room was chaos! Kids running riot in between adults trying to navigate around a packed buffet area, plenty of choice though. Did find it rather funny when they lowered the chain around the pool at 10am and people queued to run around the beds with towels.. unsure why people did this as their were loads of beds… The location was fine for us, however anyone with walking issues would struggle, it’s up hill for at least 10 minutes from the bars and beach, and another walk and stairs once you arrived at hotel to get to your room (also only one entrance into the hotel complex) Probably a great place to stay with young kids but as a couple we just wanted a break and felt we really didn’t get one in this hotel.

A lovely week in the winter sun. Just returned after travelling with my partner and 7 month old, we had a really nice time in Tenerife and the GF Isabel. Our room was cleaned every day, staff lovely, requested a ground floor apartment which they accommodated. Pool & grounds were kept very clean & both pool areas were great for our little one. Loved the fact the grounds & pool area were non smoking, really feel like the hotel totally caters for families. Only seen two cockroaches the entire time so not bad! Only gripe would be with the evening restaurant staff (we ordered a pizza to takeaway) I called and she was very rude & abrupt hanging the phone up on me! I wouldn’t say the location is central in terms of the temple bar area around 15/20 min walk but with a buggy that was fine. We had a great time and would definitely return.

Been coming to Isabel for a few years and always rated it highly. We'd only had a couple of nights before moving to villas before though, but had a week half board this time and it was great. Buffet breakfast is lovely with loads on offer, dinner a little less so unfortunately, but we all managed to find something. Staff friendly and attentive as ever. Sorry to come home, but we will be back.

Just returned from 14 nights half board in a 1 bedroom apartment. This was our 3 rd stay in this hotel. Our apartment had been refurbished with new curtains and blind. Whilst we were there the sofa bed was replaced. The apartments are spacious with big balconies.Beds are comfy and there is a payable safe in the room. The apartment and the whole complex was kept spotlessly clean. The buffet restaurant was excellent with plenty of choices to suit everyone. We swopped dinner for lunch 3 times . It was lovely being able to sit and have breakfast outside in the courtyard. The pool opens at 10am and you can get pool towels . Plenty of sun beds never had a problem getting one. There is an animation team in the hotel with plenty of activities if you want , I did like the fact that 2 couples that brought glass bottles to the pool , immediately got told that wasn’t allowed. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff are a credit to this hotel . They all work incredibly hard. Look forward to seeing you again in 2 years.

After reading some reviews we were a little cautious about our first visit to Tenerife and GF Isabel. But from the minute we walked through the door, our worries went. We were able to access our apartment straight away, and it was lovely, I am guessing recently refurbished as it wasn’t the orange furnishings on most pictures seen. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Everything you need for a great holiday. All the staff we encountered were friendly. We stayed bed & breakfast, we we’re perfectly happy with the selection of food. There was always a sun bed by the pool if needed, the hotel is only about 10 minutes from the beach. Plenty of shops & restaurants nearby. All in all a great week with fabulous weather.
