Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
PlayaOlid Suites & Apartments is celebrated by guests for its convenient location near the beach and local amenities, although the hillside setting and occasional noise might detract for some. The establishment maintains high cleanliness standards, though room quality can be a mixed bag, ranging from spacious and well-kept to some noise and wear. While entertainment and special touches contribute to a positive atmosphere, certain areas may fall short. The hotel is generally seen as offering good value and commendable service, but experiences can vary. Lastly, the pools and entertainment are highlights, even if some facilities may not meet everyone's expectations.

From start to finish a fabulous hotel, don’t trust bad reviews. Rooms spotless, beds and pillows so comfy. Restaurant catered for everyone’s taste, and being all inclusive drinks were very varied and plenty of choice. Our grandson has severe allergies and from the airport to the hotel, every attention to detail was given, especially in the restaurant, the Public Relations/ Community Manager Manuel Jesus Gonzalez made sure that our grandsons food was cooked separate to everyone else’s, checking we were happy with it, always with a smile a lovely man, as were all the staff. Activities were good, evening entertainment was fine not as bad as some said, it is free after all. Jet2 are an outstanding holiday company, highly recommend .

We had a fab time at playaolid. Staff were so nice and worked so hard. Be prepared for walking up and down steps if you aren't in the main building with the lift . We were top floor and had 6 flights of stairs to go up and down. The food was your average 3 star hotel food- maybe better with breakfast always being our fav. Pool bar open everyday 10am til 5pm meant you didn't have to get dressed to eat inside, although we did one day just to test it out. Mexican food night was great and a lovely touch having a 3 peice Mexican musical trio. Bar soft drinks not great but we added a bit of cordial that's sat on the bar to a lemonade or water were happy. The slush pina coladas were my fav. We were super lucky with the weather- I think they had a bit of a heat wave, my kids were happy in the pool all week, we ventured down to the games room once but no-one else was in there! The evening entertainment wasn't great some nights. But we didn't stay for the first few. The Friday night Latin band are not to be missed. They were amazing and a great end to a great holiday.

Second visit for us and we had a great time. Good food and drinks. Very friendly staff. Clean and tidy hotel. Pool areas are jet washed every morning. Location is good and close to the beach and town. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. Only negatives lots of steps and it’s on a hill. Good value for money for a 3 star.

Pool✔️ Apartment ✔️ entertainment... Entertainment was the WORST I have ever seen. Being an entertainer myself by career I felt sorry for the families having paid to watch the awful entertainment provided. The girls were in ridiculously short shorts , on their phones constantly and the kids disco was awful. The poor children , I felt like I would've got up there and did it on my holidays. Never would I return with kids for this entertainment. The staff need training more on customer service & how to entertain English families. So glad there was other places for us to go

Big hotel , quite complicated to find your room , lots of steps. All the staff are very nice and polite. The lady behind the reception desk is lovely . She helped us sort our transfer . Food is nice enough, lots of choice and fresh. Found the drinks all fine too. The hotel is always being cleaned , especially pool areas. Only criticism is rooms are slightly dated and our bathroom wasn't the best, ie the shower cubicle. Also all bars close at 11pm Quite a walk to the beach ,

Great place to stay, very clean, good food and friendly staff. We were all inclusive and could not fault the food or the drinks. We enjoyed the entertainment too. I would say the pools were refreshing! Didn't stop us going in for a swim at all. Plenty of sunbeds for everyone. Really good location for shops, bars and restaurants. Excellent value for money, thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. 😊

Excellent hotel for what they charge, I was holidaying on my own to do whale and dolphin watching so wanted to be near the marina, this hotel was ideal for me, I had a suite which was huge, separate lounge area I never used , nice bathroom with shower, lobby with fridge, microwave and tea making facilities and large main bedroom with 2x3`beds together and jet bath in the bedroom, patio doors to small balcony with table and seating over looking the pool, room number 1403. The room wasn't perfect but nothing I could complain about and I loved it. I went all inclusive which was great, G&T, Baileys, beer etc and lots of other drinks, the food was very good as well as free snacks in the afternoon, Hotel was very clean, all staff friendly and most of the evening entertainment was good to, pool was nice with plenty of seating. Excellent position with a 15-20 minute enjoyable walk slightly down hill to the beach, marina, restaurants and bars, I can definitely recommend the hotel, OK it's not perfect but considering how reasonable the cost was I was very happy, If you want to spend more money I'm sure there's better hotels

Developed sickness & dihorrea whilst staying there due to faulty hot water tank. Reported to reception who immediately replaced it. They now deny this was reported to them along with our sickness. Reception staff were very dismissive and unhelpful.

Value for money. Rooms spacious and clean. Beds comfy and linen changed everyday but 1.Staff friendly and helpful. Good location,up a slight hill from town. Food ok, Mexican night was nice with variety of dishes. Amstel on draft. Soft drinks and breakfast juice terrible. terrible but they do nice slushes which are great as cocktails. I was addicted to Pina caladas! All in all we enjoyed our stay.
