Stay was excellent from start to finish. Room was excellent with 2 bedrooms and 2 balconys. Balcony got the sun at some parts of the day. Multiple pools and plenty of sun loungers. Apartment was very clean and the maid service was excellent. Ironing facilities in the room given a 4 as no rower in the gym and both elliptical and treadmill not working.Would recommend.

Visited Lagos De Fanabe as a guest staying at sister hotel, Los Olivos, just next door. Wonderful resort with peaceful pools, sun terrace and bar/ restaurant. Be warned the pool is VERY Deep. The pool bar here is included in all inclusive. Staff at this hotel bar/restaurant were mostly very friendly - special shout outs to Mohammad who is very efficient and friendly, as well as the gentleman I think is the maitre de. The quality of food and selection was sufficient and better than we expected. Dinners were probably the least favourite meal of our days - but breakfast and lunch was very good. Breakfast is very very busy! The evening entertainment was a bit random - our favourite was an English gentleman whose name we can’t remember. He was great and said he has lived in Tenerife for 45 yrs! Access to Lagos De Fanabe is the winning ticket to Los Olivos and would make us return.

First things first we had an amazing 5 nights here. Location is perfect, right on the fanabe strip and our deluxe apartment was lovely, asides from the no air conditioning which is pretty poor. We paid all inclusive for this stay, which was pretty expensive for the 5 nights but we didn’t mind as how it was advertised, it sounded well worth it with beach club included and obviously food and drinks. Firstly, there’s 3 beach clubs, the one ‘included’ with all inclusive is the very basic one, with standard sunbeds, and a bar that serves the most basic of drink options such as 2 beers, cocktails with spirit, ice and flavour syrup. We got drinks here, a strawberry daiquiri and it was so poor. You also have to book this beach club in advance the day before and you’re only allowed one item of food at this place, hardly all inclusive is it? We actually ended up paying over the odds for the le club beach club for cabanas and premium drinks. As for in the hotel, the food was so bad, I’ve never had a lunch or dinner make me laugh, it was that bad despite paying all inclusive we never attempted to eat either, only breakfast. Breakfast was adequate enough for us, plenty for us to eat, some of the hot food was poor but we got by on eggs and fruit etc. the drink options were just as bad, I’ve never stayed in a 4 star hotel that only offers one beer which was Amstel, not even a Spanish beer, a Dutch beer which is very cheap, one red one white wine and cocktails out a machine. I found this to be really lacking in value and quality, and preferred the soft drinks such as Fanta lemon. There were also no snacks by the pool apart from leftovers from breakfast and the ice cream poolside that was free for all inclusive was tubs for children. What also annoyed us was that we never seen anyone getting checked what board they were at the restaurant or bars, you could’ve been b&b all week and got fed all day long, or even better you didn’t have to stay at the hotel to get fed for free. This really summed up how disappointed we were with the lack of value for money and quality of the place with regards to food and drink. I really hate saying anything negative as we had an amazing time some of the staff are nice such as the guy with dark hair and glasses usually in white shirt in the restaurant, but we left feeling dissatisfied with the food and drink. This place has so much potential due to the location and how nice the resort is, but they’ve really let themselves down with the food and drink. I would recommend staying here b&b, I don’t believe this place should even be offering an all inclusive service as it’s far off providing that

Had the best cocktail at All Bar One at Edinburgh Airport. Flight from Edinburgh was late and the Canarian taxi driver got lost, even though I told him the full address in Spanish. I recommend handing taxi driver a written note of address. So, when we arrived at Los Olivos Beach Hotel in Tenerife it was dark and we just could not find our room. Hotel would benefit from outside lighting, bigger sign posts or someone to take you to the room if it is dark. We got a one bedroom apt, which did not look like the photographs. Apt was like walking into an oven every day, unbearably hot. Proper air conditioning would have made our holiday wonderful, however, I had ear plugs and ceiling fan on whole night and the bed was very comfy. Terrace nice, the view was not great, but it was a quiet road. Shower was great. Swimming pools, palm trees and gardens really beautiful. I did not know I could buy food at our pool bar, where is the menu? Heard later you can even order take away here. I walked to Burger King, machine did not work, got wrong order and more expensive than back home. There is also a McDonalds on the beach. Sister hotel Lagos de Fanabe was very good, wish we had gone AI as I had a look at their lovely restaurants Jardin and Al Fresco. For SC we recommend nearby La Tosca, Colonial and Azar. We did not get a roof terrace but there is a lovely roof bar which opens at night and there is a small communal sun terrace overlooking the sea in sister hotel Lagos de Fanabe. Costa Adeje is beautiful especially towards quiet Duque. Los Olivos is really in the best location for beach walks, shops, supermarkets, excursion booking and the best waterfront restaurants on the prom and downstairs at the beach. Tony Roma opposite. Only slight hills and a walkway ramp to the beach for wheelchairs & 10 minute walk up to the main road (Av de Bruselas) where we waited an hour for free Siam Park bus (could not find a taxi). Was able to book excursion before the holiday with Jet 2. Went to Siam Park’s shop for Fast Track tickets but they were sold out meaning long queues & we only got 7 rides, which were great but note they are extreme and there are no changing rooms. Next day reception kindly called us a taxi for our boat trip from Puerto Colon which was quite good. We went to hotel’s BBQ on the Rooftop where you can watch the sunset on the sea. Good food, music, atmosphere and nice staff. Cocktails lovely, 9 euros each though. Reception staff very nice too. Check out at noon. 5 hours until flight, in the heat as it is still hot in October. The courtesy room was not good, just a small changing room with showers, no sockets for hair tongs. Great hotel for older couples and families. Taxi transfer to airport came right on time. My boyfriend enjoyed his first time abroad despite all the problems we had. We would return to this hotel it is wonderful.

What a stunning resort. When the bus dropped us off at the top of the street we didn’t know where to go. So we walked completely round the block as we couldn’t find the reception area as it’s hidden amongst shops and restaurants which wasn’t very appealing. But when u get inside it’s like another world. It’s a beautifully designed oasis with palm trees sprouting out from all areas around 2 or 3 beautifully designed swimming pools and jacuzzi which are nestled amongst the lovely whitewashed apartments some with direct pool access( would have loved one of them). We had bed and breakfast deal which is what we wanted as there is so many bars and restaurants right outside the main entrance and the beach is literally 50 yards walk. When we stay next time I think I’ll opt for a poolside apartment as we booked a gold apartment with sea view but this borders onto the side street containing numerous bars and restaurants and can be a little noisy if you’ve got your patio doors open. But if u close them it completely drowns out the noise. And the air conditioning works fine with minimal noise. Anyway thanks S&S for a wonderful holiday 👌👌😎

From the second we stepped foot in the hotel, we were made to feel welcome, The hotel room was really nice with a stylish, modern finish. Good size living area, excellent bathroom and good size balcony, which we could just get a glimpse of the sea from. The bedroom was 2 single bed’s together which was the only problem we experienced. The breakfast in the hotel was very nice, a good selection and up to a high standard, The pool area was kept clean and a very nice place to spend our down time, swapping between there and the sun terrace (definitely recommend getting a sun bed on there) The exits to the hotel were well thought as the complex is very big with 4 separate gated exits, which mean you don’t have to trek to the reception to leave the hotel

Hotel is working on improvements - we can compare during several years. After COVID restrictions new entertainment program is available with good artists. Our kind recommendation is to organize small place for dancing during evening events because music is very suitable for dancing and many guests would be very happy to do that. It doesn’t take hard reconstruction or money just better planing with localization of tables . There are many people who choose hotels with dance floors for evening entertainment. Why not in Lagos de Fanabe with open air restaurant!!

Stayed here in Easter and the resort is amazing! We had room 2067 which we had a sea view and brilliant for still sunbathing. Only downfall we was near a bar playing loud music but it stopped around 12. Ear plugs did the job. I have seen reviews that some had no aid con however we did. The location is literally on the beach! & so close to shops! The all inclusive package also comes in with drinks at the beach bar and lunch. Sunbeds also come into it so you don't have to pay for them. The only bad thing is the food! The breakfast which is pretty standard on any all inclusive wasn't the case here! It lacked! Same with lunch & dinner. There was no variety which is a shame because where the outside restaurant is you could have a lovely lunch/dinner with views! Resort itself is amazing cannot fault that just the food!
