Nestled in an enviable spot, Jardines de Nivaria - ADRIAN Hoteles garners high praise for its location, with guests enjoying easy beach access and a plethora of nearby dining and shopping venues. The hotel's amenities, including heated pools and lush gardens, are consistently acclaimed for enhancing the tranquil and luxurious ambiance, although a few guests find room for improvement in entertainment.

Detailed Reviews
We were only bed and breakfast with an entry level room price but the room surpassed our expectations and the bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows.
The good selection of food available at breakfast would satisfy most people. Loved the innovation of the butter dispenser! The staff were very attentive and empty plates were promptly removed.
It was only a couple of minutes from our room to the poolside sun beds and a few more minutes via the lift to the promenade restaurants and cafes

This is a lovely friendly hotel with so many attractive features. We have to knock a star off as on our arrival our 'sea view' room that we had paid a lot extra for had about 30% view of the sea and the rest of a concrete wall of the hotel next door. On the confirmation it should have been described as 'partial sea view'. The staff were very good about it and managed to move us to a room further down the corridor with a full view but not until late morning the next day so we could not unpack at all and just had to wait for the change.
Although the hotel seemed to be full there was always plenty of room at breakfast time to enjoy the excellent comprehensive buffet. Also, there was always room around the pool although we found the loungers far too close together and it was impossible to move between them. The heated water was very welcome and a nice touch was a ramp with a rail which enabled you to enter the water safely.
The evening entertainment in the lounge was excellent with a mixture of singers, dancers, acrobats etc. and the drinks were reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel. We did not eat in the hotel buffet in the evenings as there was such an excellent choice of restaurants just outside the hotel where you could eat for far less than the €40 buffet charge. The poolside restaurant was also a good choice for an evening meal.
The staff really make this hotel and everyone was so friendly and eager to help and chat.

This is our second visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed. The Christmas decorations were lovely. Our room, the hotel and grounds are spotlessly clean and well maintained. We arrived in early January to find a coffee machine and kettle together with capsules and teabags, and a bottle of water in our room. These were replenished daily. We also received a complementary basket of fruit and a bottle of Cava, which we much appreciated. The food and service in this hotel are excellent. There is a great buffet breakfast with plenty of hot and cold choices. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and this time we tried the buffet dinner one evening, which we enjoyed, but preferred to eat at the La Cascada restaurant by the pool, where the food is cooked to order and the service exceptional. We hope to return and have recommended the hotel to friends and family.

We booked the Jardines de Nivaria - Adrian Hoteles, in Costa Adeje at very short notice due to our Covid test result being late coming back to us and causing us to cancel our original hotel. Everything happens for a reason and on this occasion we were extremely happy it had! This hotel is superb. We were allocated a garden room with a view over the little putting green and swimming pool then out to sea. Lots of space in the very nicely furnished room and the bathroom had a bath, separate (very powerful) shower and two sinks. The balcony had two chairs, a table and two sun-beds with glass screening meaning you had a good view. For the week that we were there we noticed how spotlessly clean everything was, with hand gel dispensers in abundance. There were times when we inadvertently forgot to put on our masks and we were very politely reminded by the staff. They take your safety very seriously at this hotel.
The staff were amazing! It is tempting to mention the names of a few staff and praise them for their friendliness and professionalism, but that wouldn’t be fair on all those who were not named who also did a superb, professional job.
Because the hotel wasn’t full, we had plenty of space the sit in however much isolation we wanted, and even though there is an abundance of ‘socially-distanced’ sunbeds, quite a few were vacant, so space around the pool was easy to find. We noticed that the usual crowd were not reserving sunbeds at dawn. The sunbeds are sanitised and cleaned after use with a sticker to inform you which beds were safe to use. The beds are covered over at night and you can change your towels daily at the pool hut.
We were told that the choice of food had been limited at the moment to enable it to be served to us rather than help yourself. This was to allow staff only to pick up the serving utensils and it was a system that worked very well. The quality of the food was excellent, as was the service in the dining areas from the staff who worked tirelessly to make sure everything ran smoothly and seamlessly.
Well done and a very big thank you to all the staff at this hotel for making our week here a most enjoyable experience during these miserable times.
It’s a pity we had to come back to the UK and lockdown and doom mongering and the BBC and….. etc etc etc.

We loved this hotel, primarily due to the lovely staff and the beautiful setting. The front desk was so helpful in every regard. The rooms were spacious, and we were moved from our upgraded room (with no view at all), to a smaller room with a beautiful view of the pool and beyond.
The buffet was well appointed and well-staffed. I loved the care and flourish that the Pasta chef paid to his dishes. Always delicious! The fresh, grilled meat and fish were also so well prepared.
I always notice the little things, though. Like, how our room wasn't stocked consistently, and it became such an issue when the tea that we enjoy in the morning, wasn't replenished. We were told it would cost 15 Euros to get extra teabags, and had to explain that they had not been given in the first place. Really, for a hotel of this calibre, that kind of nickel and diming is unnecessary. Many people don't utilize the teabags, or maybe the coffee, so charging for extras seems cheap. (We gave our relatives our coffee and they gave us their tea, so it all worked out.) Same goes for the daily water bottle that was also not replaced regularly. The only other concern was that somehow we were charged 80 Euros for "comida" that we had at the pool, which entailed two gin and tonics, and a plate of melon with ham. That seems like a lot!
I would suggest that if you have the half board, do not waste your money eating poolside. We found both the service and the quality of the food to be superior at the buffet.
I always like to know the "fine print," and my concerns above, are merely that. I would stay at this wonderful hotel again in a heartbeat. They put on an awesome New Year's Eve Party, and were up and at it again in the morning, providing a lovely buffet, complete with entertainment and a champagne fountain. It was wonderful and special.
I must mention one absolute highlight - THE SHOWERS! We love a shower that has powerful water pressure. The showers were amazing! You can turn it down if you don't like that pressure, but wow! We loved it!
We had a memorable visit. Thank you!

Wonderful break, a treat for my sister’s birthday. We’ve been to the Roca Nivaria but thought we’d try another Adrian Hoteles accommodation for a change and were not disappointed.
Booked superior sea view rooms which were stunning, so comfortable, with every convenience, beautifully serviced and appointed within easy reach of the pools, beach, restaurants and the fabulous main building in the opulent art nouveau style.
Cannot fault any aspect of this high class establishment. Superb standards throughout, delightful staff, top notch cuisine, five star cleanliness and comfort.
A highlight was the fresh lobster lunch in the pool restaurant where we chose the live lobsters, grilled to perfection and served with frites, salad and canarian potatoes plus accompaniments, local vino de la casa blanco. A fitting birthday celebration in the sun.
Other lovely touches were a bottle of quality fizz when returning to our rooms later in the day and a nice departing gift in recognition of our 5th stay with this hotel group.
Impressed by the eco friendly choices of frequency in towel and bed linen changes.
The premises are full of interesting art, stained glass, fountains, water features and beautifully maintained gardens/ topiary to enjoy. Full strength WiFi everywhere and free of charge to listen to favourite music and keep up with the world if needed.
Highly recommended and great location. All staff were superb, attentive and so friendly. Thank you for a marvellous experience!

What a wonderful hotel. Carlos at reception was very helpful and organised a tour around the hotel as we moved from Sheraton because of raw sewerage smell and dirty rooms. The rooms are spotless, large and have all facilities including a fridge which you hired with a package for 10 euros which included 4 bottles of water. The pool area was fabulous, comfortable sun loungers and one heated pool, heated jacuzzi, and my favourite cold fresh water pool with waterfall. It was lovely having lunch at the poool restaurant, the menu us a bit limited, but the service exceptional. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss, but what was lovely was NO SMOKING in public areas, please please keep this policy. The breakfast was organised and the staff served you at the stations even for cereal. Location wise, right on the beach promenade through a secured entrance. 300 metres to designer shop heaven, and restaurants. We went bed and breakfast which I would recommend. I would advise to get a pool or sea view room. I can’t recommend this hotel high enough especially after the terrible ordeal we had endured for 48 hours at the Sheraton .

Our first trip to Tenerife and first time in a resort hotel of this calibre. We had a superior sea view room in Ucanca which was clean , had a large comfy bed, lovely view from our balcony and great bathroom. The staff were all helpful and very efficient .
The extensive sea water pool was excellent and, with mostly older guests at this time of year, free of excited children.
The buffet breakfast was excellent and we had a couple of reasonably priced lunches ( the salad buffet was great) at the hotel’s poolside restaurant ( Cascada). Our favourite dinner spot was La Farola del Mar opposite the sea front entrance to the hotel. Fabulous seafood linguini and paella.
We took a couple of excellent trips arranged by walking down to the many sellers in the harbour. White Tenerife did a particularly good 5 hr whale and Dolphin trip in their catamaran. We also went on an all day trip to the Tiède caldera , Masca( stunning) and the north coast. Don’t miss seeing something of the rest of Tenerife it’s very different from the Costa Adeje.
The shopping opportunités near the hotel were mostly either designer or cheap beach shops. The best mid range outlet for men’s and women’s clothing was a Mango in the basement of the Plaza del Duque ( 10 mins walk) . On the top floor was an excellent nail bar too.
We will definitely return.

What a fantastic hotel! Had the pleasure of staying here for 2 weeks and this is without a doubt, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in (and we travel 5 months of the year). Beautiful hotel, gorgeous planting and landscape, very tropical and the pool! - well...that pool is so so good and heated. Loved it!
The staff are absolutely brilliant, everyone from reception, the cleaners, the restaurant and bar staff - all so friendly and so welcoming. The whole hotel was kept so clean and everything was constantly being sanitised, masks were worn (and staff did not hesitate in reminding people when they forget), and social distance was maintained. Felt very very safe.
The food in the restaurant was very good, no complaints and my trousers are definetely tighter on departing. The food in the pool bar at lunch was good but perhaps a few more snack items would be positive. Everything is put on your card to pay at the end, so no cash exchanged.
We were in Masca block on the second floor and had a lovely view of the pool and the sea. The room was very very clean and was kept clean the whole time we were there. The walk in shower was excellent. You even get a chocolate left on your bed in the evening. We got a bottle of water every day and milk. My only tiny niggle about the room, is the lack of a bin in the bedroom area, only had one bin in the bathroom which is a bit strange.
It was hubbie birthday whilst we were there and it was a real surprise when we were given a bottle of bubbly in our room. So kind.
Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations and I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to others. I could rave about this hotel all day, we will definetely return.

This is the second time that I have stayed at Jardines de Nivaria I can only say the hotel was as good the second time as the first. All staff went out of their way to be helpful, service excellent, cleanliness was perfect. Everything about the hotel is wonderful. The sun loungers have individual towels that fit perfectly, the covers are washed unlike other hotels where you can see stains. If I was going to criticise it would be down to people reserving the sun loungers first thing in the morning even when they were evidently not there but this is a request made by the hotel which people ignore.
