the hotel is in a great location only a few mins walk from the beach .lots of bars and restaurants close by plenty of choice if you go out .we stayed on half board basis the food was good overall and plenty of choice the restaurant could get very busy at times and somedays there was a l ong queue for dinner our allocated time was 08.30 to 20.00 we did not have to wait . the food was good overall but for me there was not enough spanish food on offer only saw paella one night and the on the theme night .as some people have commented the hotel is showing signs of wear and could do with a refurb .but it did not spoil our holiday .we stayed in room 454 with a pool view theres was lots going on around the pool throughout the day ,overall a good hotel in a good location...

...My parents loved the piano bar and there are often good singers performing there, but if you care about your hearing don't go there. You can hear the music well in the lobby... Some people in my groups (6) complained about the music being to loud both in the lobby and at the bar but no one seemed really interested, i just hope that the bartenders will get their hearing aids paid by Best hotels when they retire... The entertainment is by the Alpitour group which is fine for italians staying at the hotel and there is plenty of them...

...For some reason the bars only charge to your room number of which your card on check in is charged so your not allowed to pay with cash anywhere in the hotel for any extras you would want. The cleaners for the rooms don't change the sheets they just remake the beds evident of stains on the sheets... There is some much noise from others walking around the hotel within your room, no sound proofing what so ever...

...The rooms are large and cleaned daily, perhaps lacking in hanging space and drawers is the only downside... Would be nice to have simple amenities like tea and coffee in the room as you have to pay for these...

The staff were friendly and helpful, the maids were brilliant too cleaning rooms daily to a great standard... They offer a premium option which was not advertised before booking and upon arrival we realised that even with that added extra it wouldn’t be worth it...

...On day 1 it would have been 1 star but it grew on us, lets go through the various areas Rooms - cleaners were excellent and came in every day, room H784, free safe, large wardrobe, good tv with various channels, comfortable beds and nice sheets... Additional tea and coffee was 3 euro per day, this is supposedly 4 star so we took our own coffee and coffee mate, you were also not allowed free bottled water for the room, again it’s supposed to be 4 star... Dining room, complete chaos on day 1, usually the main course area repeats itself you only need to walk half the distance, not here, people walk along looking at what there is, then pick their food and add in some nationalities that don’t know what a queue is, the result was carnage!... Having said that we always got a bed when we wanted 1 ( very limited choice) but you lie looking at prime spots that are vacant...

...Dissappointed with our supposedly (superior) bedroom, which was on the ground floor and about 12 feet away from the pedestrian pavement and then a fairly busy road, which overlooked a housing estate. Our room was large with tv, kettle and fridge... However the door into the bathroom was made of see through, clear and frosted glass and a couple of feet away from the door was a large double fronted mirrored wardrobe which meant that from many areas of the bedroom, one could see the reflection from the mirrored wardrobe into the bathroom...

...All inclusive was not all inclusive if you wanted branded drinks you had to pay a premium of 12.99 euros a day per room regardless if only one of you wanted to upgrade or if only one person drank alcohol so a bit of a rip off ... The rooms do have a few British channels on the tv ...

...My only things that could of been better were that even though the hotel was quiet my wife visibly has limited mobility and we was not offered a room with a walk in shower when we checked in, Also as mentioned we have visited multiple times and that could have been recognised by the management...

...There were four adults in our party staying in two rooms. There were cockroaches in the hotel, including in the restaurant and our hotel room... When it rained heavily, water flooded into our hotel room through both the entrance door and the balcony door... I was told that replacement towels would be sent to my room, but they were not... Next time there was heavy rain, I saw a member of staff putting blankets outside room doors so I asked for one for ours... When we were allocated our room, we were told that it was in the newest part of the hotel... This hotel is badly in need of upgrading and refurbishment...

...We were booked into a superior room with pool view... One was printed quickly enough but the room was obviously a stand by for messed up bookings... Reception agreed to change immediately, suggesting they knew this room is unsuitable, so just the 1 night infested with cockroaches... The next day we had to pack everything up and wait for a room to become free and they moved the cases for us to unpack again... The new room had a good view of the pool, as well as a great view (and remember the main complaint was from noise)of the bar that was next door to and shared a wall with our room, singers on every night along with football on big screen (see photos)... All in all with our experience I think 2 stars was fair however with the promise of a decent room I would stay here again as for all the negatives are plentiful they are liveable problems and not the end of the world however there are definitely better places if the budget will stretch...

All inclusive was not all inclusive if you wanted branded drinks you had to pay a premium of 12.99 euros a day per room regardless if only one of you wanted to upgrade or if only one person drank alcohol so a bit of a rip off ... Also only certain branded drinks included in the premium package staff seemed as if they didn’t want to serve you the branded drinks and looked cheesed off ... If you want a sun-bed around main pool area then you need to be up very early to reserve one ... You can hire towels for the pool for 10 euros each which you get back on checking out and you can change them daily ... I do not think the standard of this hotel is a four star it should be a three star ...

...Bars won't give you water from dispenser, you need to pay for that. There's no iron or ironing board, a tourist rep can source one for you for 20€... Pillows aren't that comfortable, but they have a pillow menu available at a price... Coffee machine and coffee capsules available in your room at a price...

...We went all inclusive and it was adequate for the price... You could order something fresh like sandwiches/toasties but this was extra €... All inclusive spirits are non branded but didn’t expect anything else - again adequate for the price... We wouldn’t come back here and would pay more money and go somewhere nicer but for what we paid we don’t feel it was a bad holiday and anyone on a budget or not too fussy will be fine...

We visit Tenerife a lot and were looking for a reasonably priced short winter break. We settled on the Jacaranda due to the good price and location... We usually stay in Iberostar hotels and to be honest this fell short of that standard... Spirits were cheap, you could pay extra, €10pp a day I think, to get branded spirits, e.g...

In around the late nineties we would visit tenerife and on a very tight budget and with two kids frequent the hotel 'Princess Dacil' in Los Cristianos... The evening entertainment appalling and I lost count of the times I was reminded that as we were not one of the AI in its various levels then various restrictions applied to us... Was it awful no, was it so good we want to go back no, there are plenty of better hotels but if your on a budget and have kids you probably won't notice anything I have said just go AI and get a good night's sleep when the kids are in bed... That's if they turn the AC on in summer...

I’m vegan, I took my own butter but they had oat milk Gym available Fresh, ordered food was good and very reasonable Less good There was blood on the sheet, I phoned reception but the bed wasn’t changed in the four days we were there Tired public areas Walls very thin (see real clients taking full advantage of all inclusive cheap beer meant it was noisy at night) I’d stay again (if it was a similar price) but wouldn’t spend much more... Expect cheap and cheerful and you won’t be disappointed...

...Bar staff friendly, booked all inclusive which only gives you the cheap drinks. So we paid extra for the premium drinks which are priced at discounted rates, (cheap)... So we ended up eating outside the hotel at nearby restaurants, to ensure no further stomach upsets and much better quality of food, again prices are much cheaper than the U.K...

...The big issue with this hotel is the FOOD we were half board the food was cold same things most evenings pork chops, pork stirfry chicken drumsticks with other things too, mostly cheap cut of meat don't know why the Chefs don't take notice of the Reviews...

...All inclusive isn't really, it is "Inclusive "but you need to pay extra for the "All"... In general i thought the hotel was average though it is cheaper than others in the area however you definately get what you pay for...

We visited this hotel in July for two weeks, the food is really good and the restaurant is spotless... We spilled a drink on the first day and cleaned it up ourselves as best we could ... Problem is they only sweep the floor and straighten the chairs out ready for the next day , they mop the walkways and around the chairs without moving them out of the way and wiping the chairs down... I doubt wether the chairs have been cleaned for weeks ...

...No balls on inflatables in the ground floor pool, ( but the animation team can use a ball for water polo) only in the baby pool it can be used...

Nice clean hotel but really let down by kids club, Entertainment and some rude and unpleasant staff, reception staff (not all) but some were really abrupt and rude, kids club was really disappointing, my 6 year old wanted to go during the day so she went in for 2 days and both days she got a colouring in sheet and a game of Jenga needless to say she didn’t want to go back after that, night time they had a half hour/45 minute disco and that was really it for the kids, seen the kids character once in 7 nights after the kids “entertainment” it was mostly singers which my little one wasn’t really interested in, inflatables aren’t allowed in main swimming pools so we spent most of our time at the roof top pool, small arcade but most machines just swallow your money without giving a shot...

We arrived early at the hotel and although our room was not ready we were able to store our cases securely and use all if the facilities... Rooms were very spacious with comfy beds and cleaned every day...

...All areas were clean and kept clean and well maintained... The gardens around the hotel are well kept and as was the pool areas, But it’s hard to find a nice sun bed when many are taken by 9am, It clearly says sun beds are not to be reserved by leaving towels on them...

We stayed for 13 days at Best Jacaranda and it was nice, the hotel is big and there is little noise in the dining room, the breakfast was wery nice end the staff friendly...

...Would advise to take ear plugs as quite noisy if people pulling cases along the tiled path outside and our room was next to a busy road but the double glazing kept most of the street noise out...

Always, being on an all-inclusive basis, other hotels have either had a cold buffet left out for us or some packaged food... We were told that a cold breakfast could be provided on our departure day at 6.30 a.m. as we were leaving the hotel before the restaurant opened... The cold breakfast consisted of bread rolls, cheese spread, tea and coffee... In fact, our 14 days all-inclusive was only 13 days... When we were allocated our room, we were told that it was in the newest part of the hotel...

...But was told to go and eat over the road... Best time was 4.30pm when they use to bring cakes out!... Sunbeds get reserved very early (6.30am) due to the amount of shade the hotel gets around by the pool... You are in the centre of everything and we enjoyed walking down into the centre and it's only 15 mins in a taxi to playa...

We used the bar most nights as there was good entertainment - don't take cash at the bar its all receipts signature and room nos which can be a nuisance if you forget a drink then the same procedure which can be very slow, never came across this arrangement before, the bar staff were nice but VALERIA Stood out very friendly , good sense of humour always smiling and a hard worker... If you want to book a trip go to DANNI In the reception area 'Island Excursions' he is so helpful and very knowledgeable, goes to a lot of trouble to make sure you pick the right trip and he speaks perfect English... Very central for the beech, walked to Las Americas 40 min...

...Staff are very friendly and the room is cleaned daily. Location is great too and the hotel organize taxi services, on request... People staying on a room beside us make a party at 3am and soon you ring reception, the noise stopped immediately... Staffs genuine cares for your holidays...

...All inclusive isn't really, it is "Inclusive "but you need to pay extra for the "All"... In general i thought the hotel was average though it is cheaper than others in the area however you definately get what you pay for...

...First time that we’ve been to Tenerife and hotel jacaranda was perfect for us... Loved the self serve of the drinks & the snack bar... Meal times were good and it was great to have the wok station... Fresh noodles cooked and chosen by yourself... It wasn’t rowdy as if we wanted to go to the strip in play de Américas it was only a €9 taxi drive or 35 minute walk along the beach...

...Our room had two large beds together which was great... This is the first hotel we have stayed in to only give 1 complimentary tea, coffee, water and soft drinks, as a "welcome pack"... No waiters in the dining rooms to bring drinks over, just table cleaners, no waiters around the pool asking if anyone wanted drinks/fruit...

...With a young family I would recommend half board plus, an extra €3 per day per person allows access to the refillable juice both during the day and at night throughout the hotel...

...So good points of this hotel: Shower pressure is great and the hair dryer provided was good, I have really long hair so normally on holiday I either need to be in the shower for ages washing my hair or it takes forever to dry with the supplied hair dryer... Bars were good sometimes you would ask for a drink and you would get whatever the bar staff felt like giving you at the time... Reception staff lovely, only spoke to them at check in and check out but were very nice and helped us on check in to find the room as it was a bit confusing... Gorgeous and really reasonable and the Scotsman Bar in the Yukka Apartment complex amazing toasties and good chat and again really reasonable...

...Visited Tenerife for first time and had an amazing time, arrives Saturday 8th October, checkin was very efficient and we were given rooms on floor 3 near reception. Rooms very comfortable with 2 big beds and air conditioning, fridge kettle, great service from cleaners in every day Food was good with plenty of variety, the buffet restaurant offers a bit of something for everyone... Service in the piano bar was friendly and thanks to Valeria for her friendly polite service she is a credit to the team...

As the above title says, we have visited this hotel for many years as a family and now as a couple, and have always been guaranteed a warm friendly welcome... Rooms are spacious with a rustic feel, and we pay for a pool view so you wake up to the lovely canarian sunshine; we also ask for a high floor, which allows for a sea view... Taps are available in the bars to top up any size bottle with drinking water... We will continue to visit this hotel for many years to come, as we have built many friendships with the staff, and hotel remains excellent value for money...

...Although we had fresh towels daily, they were consistently thin and scratchy... All inc drinks were as usual only the cheaper brands but I was disappointed in the cocktails - served from a push button machine, absolutely watery and disgusting!... The staff were all nice and helpful though...

...This is our second visit to this hotel, Our first visit was before Covid, and was a brilliant hotel, This visit we found that the bar staff and waiters do not speak much English, we did on occasions find it hard to make them understand. I could not make the bar staff understand I did not want a frozen cocktail, it was so cold that it gave a pain in my head, but thanks to one of the female bar staff she ended up making me a proper cocktail, she was from Cuba and spoke very good English... All areas were clean and kept clean and well maintained... Any problems were soon sorted out, as we had a grey gecko in our room, as soon as it was reported the staff came armed and removed him...

...All inclusive was not all inclusive if you wanted branded drinks you had to pay a premium of 12.99 euros a day per room regardless if only one of you wanted to upgrade or if only one person drank alcohol so a bit of a rip off ... If you want a sun-bed around main pool area then you need to be up very early to reserve one ... The good … hotel in good position a 10 minute walk takes you to sea front passing shops and restaurants and bars on the way ... The hotel is very large and has a roof top area on floor 5 with a bar and pools ... The rooms do have a few British channels on the tv ... You can hire towels for the pool for 10 euros each which you get back on checking out and you can change them daily ... The hotel is good for families but beware of some pools as there is no shallow end they are the same depth all around ... Snack bar by pool was nice ...

...I was told that replacement towels would be sent to my room, but they were not. Next time there was heavy rain, I saw a member of staff putting blankets outside room doors so I asked for one for ours... Always, being on an all-inclusive basis, other hotels have either had a cold buffet left out for us or some packaged food... We were told that a cold breakfast could be provided on our departure day at 6.30 a.m. as we were leaving the hotel before the restaurant opened... The cold breakfast consisted of bread rolls, cheese spread, tea and coffee... In fact, our 14 days all-inclusive was only 13 days...

...Lovely pools quiet ones on the top and family ones on the bottom. Food is always fresh and great choices of salads, meats and every night a different choice of special meal...

...You can only have floats in the small tiny pools, which you can't move in! Ball games are only allowed in the pool on the roof terrace which again is tiny... We were on the 5th floor and faced out onto the roof terrace pool... Sunbeds get reserved very early (6.30am) due to the amount of shade the hotel gets around by the pool... You are in the centre of everything and we enjoyed walking down into the centre and it's only 15 mins in a taxi to playa...

...Hotel was clean, reception staff really helpful and spacious bedroom. We found the pool on floor 5 the best, as much quieter and sunshine all day... Bar staff friendly, booked all inclusive which only gives you the cheap drinks... So we paid extra for the premium drinks which are priced at discounted rates, (cheap)... 5 mins walk to the beach, brilliant location... Microwaves can be found located in the dining area, but shouldn’t really have to use this, as waiting in line for food takes long enough as it was... So we ended up eating outside the hotel at nearby restaurants, to ensure no further stomach upsets and much better quality of food, again prices are much cheaper than the U.K...

...They are very friendly and have activities for all ages: kids club, water polo, aquarobics, yoga/ Pilates, zumba, volleyball, kids disco, bingo, paella cooking class, dards. The food was excellent too with excellent options of salad, hot meals, deserts, breads and fruits... Room was large, a little dated but not too bad. Plenty of sunloungers and close to the centre... So you sit on your balcony or inside the lobby bar which is like a airport waiting area... In general i thought the hotel was average though it is cheaper than others in the area however you definately get what you pay for...

Second year in a row staying at the Best Jacaranda (Costa Adeje) and once again we loved it. The hotel itself is expansive, with plenty of options for where to enjoy the sunshine... There are various pools and sun decks on different levels, giving choice to those who prefer either a quiet or more bustling atmosphere... Rooms are very spacious, comfy and clean... There are also different bars and lounges to relax in... From reception to the restaurant to the cleaners, everyone greets you with a friendly demeanour and makes you feel welcome...

...Tea & coffee only offered as a welcome gift, if you want it re stocked it’s €3 a go! Towels are like tea towels, no towering left on them... We spent as little time as possible there and didn’t use the facilities, and didn’t use the pool once... Sun beds are being reserved at 7am (before it’s even light) and there are nowhere near enough beds for amount of rooms... Look around and book somewhere nicer, only wish we had... Plus: the room was clean, bed was comfortable and shower was good...

...A great location only 30 seconds down the road from a variety shops, or if you dint fancy the small walk there is a shop in the hotel lobby which is very convenient. Just further down from the shops there is a Siam Park and Siam Mall bus stop which is handy too, and the beach is maybe 5 minutes away... All other staff are friendly and polite too which just makes this a great place to stay... The restaurant has a great selection of foods, including a wok raw food cooking area which is really good and very popular, they also do traditional Canarian dishes which is nice to see and to try something different... Swimming pools and other activities are also good but my only critique would be about one of the swimming pools on the 5th floor where we stayed, a few rooms included 565 which where we stayed overlooks a smallish pool which is no issue, but on your first night when you're tired from travelling and getting up at 4am to travel from London it is annoying when inconsiderate other Brits decide to go dive bombing in the pool at midnight, screaming and shouting for 20 mins straight it does grate on you, I understand this is a hotel and people are here to relax but maybe there could be a chained off or cordoned off area for the pools at a certain time?...

...My only complaints are bath needs renovating and wood on pools were coming off in places so a little dangerous and my main complaint was that there was not spare or enough cutlery in restaurants... Cleaned daily by friendly staff.we had gone for my 40th and the maids left a bottle of wine in my room that was lovely surprise... The food was good for all inclusive.hotel was clean.free safe was a bonus.good location.we joined in with water aerobics which was fun... I would recommend this hotel to everyone couples and family’s... Thank you to the hotel for a lovely stay...

...As a solo traveler, I felt comfortable and safe and was able to partake in the activities like aqua aerobics and yoga in the mornings. In the evenings the restaurant provided a great welcome and the food was absolutely excellent... The reception staff, particularly , Adán, we’re always so friendly and helpful and on one of the rainy days I spent a gorgeous few hours with the beautiful Annika in the salon by the pool where I had a top grade manicure, pedicure and massage... My room was spotless and perfectly cleaned each day... All in all I would highly recommend the Best Hotel Jacaranda...

...Great week at the Jacaranda, excellent food, pool areas and rooms spotless. Good location, 10 min walk to centre & beach with shops to browse on the way... Well good point pool's are great even though no sunbed saving allowed and no-one backed that up or smoking by the pool no staff said anything to anyone doing it... So I'm not sure I would go back especially As paid alot of money for the holiday and to be told you could have alot of the drinks or even water for your room unless you paid for it had to pay for towels ... Also had to pay if you wanted refreshments filled for your room as in your tea and coffee ...
