This is my 11th returning visit and I cannot fault it! Often travelling as a single mum with a young child, it is so safe. I return repeatedly as I know what what I am expecting. Where do I start? The biggest plus is the staff, they are amazing. From the minute you arrive, reception are waiting for you. Pre check in is available so speeds things up. Join /sign up to the Bahia app and you can do everything before you arrive, including booking the al a Cartes. The grounds are beautiful, rooms are spotlessly clean and they are always looking after you. From the new Director and his new no. 2 nothing is too much! I have travelled extensively all around the word in a previous life, Seychelles, Mauritius, Maldives. This is my home from home. My paradise. The staff are amazing, I have made life long friends here. The kids club is amazing and gives me a break too. Erica, we love you!!! Entertainment team, you are amazing. Sidney! What can I say, Paddle board yoga was amazing thank you. Special mention to Rachel your choreographer you know how much we love you all. The shows are so good! Conchi, Reyes, Roberto too. other friend's xxx This time I brought my son Eddie too, he also has fallen in love with paradise and totally understands why I am a returning guest. He has thoroughly enjoyed playing golf. I've added him on for my next two trips. So to everyone from the top thank you, to all your staff, see you very shortly. Love you all! xxx

Hotel's Favorite
As a married couple in our 40s we have been to tenerife a few times and always enjoyed it. We have also been to quite a lot of different hotels in various countries over the years ranging from 4 to 5 stars and I can honestly say this is the first hotel I would happily return to. Im not saying all other hotels we visited were bad, but they always felt like they let us down in one way or another.

Bahia Principe Adeje is an Excellent Hotel!! It might not be as luxurious as some 5 star hotels but they make up for it in so many ways and I’ll try to explain and be as honest as I can throughout my review.

Before visiting the hotel I read some negative reviews on here and was a little worried as we have learnt in the past, some of the negative reviews can point out some very valid issues and were not neive enough to think any hotel is perfect.

We had read the hotel was very remote and was fearful we would get bored of the complex or bored of the food and want to travel out. Although we did 2 excursions (Siam Park and Loro Parque) I can confirm for a couple staying for 8 days we never got bored of the food nor the hotel.

The Hotel: The hotel is for the most part is immaculate and beautiful. Its quite a large complex with the Adele hotel being near the beach front, a middle section near the lobby basically being like a cool little town where there are acts and a few little shops (all the owners of every single shop and even the chemist are lovely!!) and then there is the sister hotel Bahia Principe Tenerife which your allowed access to everything (except use of their main all inc diner) as well which is a really nice touch and wish wed had time to utilise more. 10/10

The Room: We stayed at the main Hotel Principe Adeje in room 4409 which was right in the middle and had a nice view of the pool right where the entertainment was and unlike some hotels it was nice to listen to. The entertainment team are brilliant and the music they play is nice and varied, not cliche and repetitive like some hotels you goto. The room was a little dated, but at the same far better than 90% of any 4 star hotels we’ve been to. It was very clean, everything worked and even had a queen size bed which was a really nice touch. Me and my wife have a super kingsize bed at home and find there is nothing worse than getting to a hotel to find a double or worse 2 singles pushed together. The cleaners were very good, often doing the room the exact time we went for breakfast so no awkward coming back to get changed or ready when our room was being cleaned and left a bottle of water every day. 9/10

The Staff: Im not kidding when I say I can not think of a single bad word to say about a single staff member and there is a LOT of staff there, the reception staff were always smiley and helpful, the women concierges are so welcoming, the staff attentive and so friendly and nice, the couple In the square snack bar amazing, the entertainment team and musicians some of the best we’ve ever seen, the lower beach bar snack bar staff amazing. 10/10

The Food: No matter who you are you have probably been to an all inclusive and found a good variety but after a few days you get bored? Well im quite a fussy eater and not only did I always find something to eat I was really surprised by both the flavour and quality of the food but the variety they offered from day to day. Everything you want for an English breakfast in the morning, good coffee and lots of choices with the luxury of getting to pick some free restaurants if you fancy it of which we did 2 out of 3 (both great) but honestly found we didn’t need to do a third the food was good enough. PS if any of the staff noticed my wife going and getting food for me for 3 days, it’s not because I’m lazy lol! I had pulled my right shoulder pretty badly near the end of the holiday and couldn’t move above my waist :( I can quite honestly it’s the best food I’ve ever had at an all inclusive 4 star restaurant by a mile. 10/10
Drinks & Bars: The bar staff at this place are all brilliant. Very smiley and friendly, if you’re watching the entertainment they are very attentive and keep in mind this place is pretty big so they have a lot of people to deal with but always plenty of staff on. They have coke, Coke Zero, Fanta, Fanta lemon, lager, sangria and lots of other drinks on tap self service and often would leave varied bottles of spirits, lemon and ice out to make your own drinks (my favourite their own spiced rum) which was a really nice touch if a bar was getting busy. 10/10

The Music / Entertainment: One of the better things about this hotel is they often have multiple events going on. You have the square which has a large seating area and stage and we enjoyed an amazing queen tributes (literally had everyone on their feet getting into it). Then there is acts going on in the middle section outside the lower lobby. Some of them absolutely brilliant, very relaxing and a pleasure to listen to. One day they has some music an acts at the beach bar which was nice and then finally you have the music at the sister hotel so often between 2-3 options to choose from depending on your taste and mood. This for me made up for the fact the Hoel is quite far away from any real town etc. That being said there is a little town across the road near the Hard Rock Cafe which we visited has a supermarket etc and was nice to get out to. 10/10

It’s the little touches about this hotel that make it an amazing hotel and Id definitely return and highly recommend.

To all of the Bahia Principe Adeje team thank you so much for a really nice relaxing and pleasant 8 day holiday. You should be proud of yourselves! Your hard work is appreciated and I want to put a special thank you to the couple in the squares snack bar, the lobby staff and the amazing ladies at the diners and all the waiters. You all clearly work very hard and even manage to do it with a smile and want you to know it’s noticed and very much appreciated. We will be back :)

The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms are a bit dated but spacious, nice views. Pools are good, one heated and others nice temperature [April]. The staff make this hotel, so friendly and offer good service from reception, restaurants, bars, entertainment and room cleaning. I found it hard to find fault really. It is quite an uphill trek to restaurants and entertainment but found that you can use lifts between floors 6-4 to get to lobby bar helpful. Asia restaurant is in Tenerife hotel. Steak grill and Italian in adeje. Unfortunately someone's kid pooped in the pool 3 days running which made pool close in afternoon, not staff /hotel fault. Sunbeds are a bit of a mission though if you want them by the pool. It's a 7.30am run to get them. Some selfish people claim them and don't sit in them all day. Spotted this. Pool staff could monitor this better ie. If not used for 2 hours remove towels. Entertainment average in square area, singers at lobby bar better. Pool Entertainment team were great. Overall a lovely time spent here.

Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your kind feedback about your stay with us. We greatly appreciate your nice compliments according our cleaninless, entertainment and staff. Comments like yours motivate us to keep striving towards excellence. Regarding the sunbeds, we regret the inconvenience caused. At Bahia Principe we are constantly renewing the material, and we have added a new order of sunbeds and parasols for the solarium, as well as reinforce vigilance in order to avoid early booking of unused sunbeds, and create a more pleasant experience. According App, we are pleased to know that it has been a great help during your stay. Hoping to welcome you back soon, Best regards, Mary Amoah Bahia Principe Sunlight Costa Adeje

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The hotel is immaculate, clean with beautiful gardens. The entertainment staff were energetic (especially in daily aqua!) and the evening programme was great. Rock band and circus were are favourites. There’s also live music on the terrace which everyone was up dancing to. Favourite parts of the food was the cocktails at the chill bar, ice coffee on tap at the pool bar and so many other options between. Restaurant food was fresh and good variety and we ate at the Asia restaurant which made an enjoyable change (it’s part buffet still and I’m not sure we needed the main course!). I would suggest booking your al a carte on the app as the restaurants were fairly booked up. The app was helpful for entertainment- it would be great if they could put the restaurant and food times on it too as it took us a while to figure those out. The heated pool was really warm but the other pools also perfect temperature for a swim.

This was our 3rd Easter stay at this superb hotel. The hotel gets everything just about spot on, service, staff, entertainment, heated pool in lovely well kept grounds. The foods great with lots of options. We visited all 4 Al carte restaurants, and all were superb. I loved having lunch in Casa Bonita.Sunbeds are always available, but maybe not prime positioned ones if your not up early. I can't wait to go back.

3rd Easter visit. Love this place. Great value for money. Spotlessly clean. The entertainment staff are amazing in fact all the staff are brilliant. We had no room on arrival due to a mix up. This was sorted straight away and they gave us a free late checkout for the inconvenience. Three good pools although we had 3 code browns in the kids pool over the week. The pool has to be shut for 8 hours after each one. Please parents put nappies on your kids in the pool 😝. The kids pool is heated in the winter but I think it gets turned off after Easter. The only bad point is my 12 year old next year will be classed as an adult. She clearly isn’t at 13 she can’t drink and still only gets a camp bed yet the price goes up £300. For this reason it will be our last year returning at Easter such a shame as we love it. Please Bahia look into this rule as it’s clearly out of date.

Simply amazing x Amazing hotel, amazing food, amazing staff, amazing place, we were a family of 6 we had asked for rooms next to each other which we got with no problem.. The rooms were cleaned spotlessly everyday, the food was amazing and hot.. The drinks were fab and the waiters kept them coming.. There are 3 pools (the middle 1 is heated) Down at the infinity pool where the snack bar is the view is out of this world.. Around 20 min form the airport - I would definitely return here..

We went to the Bahia sunlight about 8 years ago and thought it was fantastic. Unfortunately on return the standard of food and drink have spiraled downhill. The gourmet restaurants were appalling especially the Italians best was Mexican. The place in general is still lovely but u can see they have made cutbacks which is effecting quality. A tip if you fancying going out for the day get the bus from reception the Girl at reception sent us to the top of the bank which nearly killed my wife as she has asthma. I found that rubbish customer service we had miserable staff as well who would happily turn there noses when asked for something as simply as milk at breakfast. When we asked someone else they told us the bus came down after all. Don’t get the bus up the bank it took us over an hour to go 20 miles it gets that backed. We have been to Bahia all over the world and they have been ok but this has gone downhill unfortunately

We had a lovely holiday just a few points that would have made it perfect. The rooms are a bit tired and in need of a re fresh. People were allowed to reserve sunbeds at crazy times of the morning then did not use them for hours meaning that when you came down from breakfast it was nearly impossible to get a bed. Some of the staff were not very friendly but I would like to give a special mention to Marta in the animation team and Ruben in the Asian restaurant, they are true asset to the hotel and other staff could take a leaf out of their book for their people skills. The specialist restaurant’s were first class. Having said all of that we would certainly return for another holiday, just a few points that would make it better.

Easier to list the good and the bad Good Clean Loads of sunbeds most are new Change pool towels every day Hard working staff Clean room every day Value for money it's pretty cheap Self serve beer and soft drinks at pool Bad Food is average bit repetitive Not hot food Not much entertainment at night The singers they did have were pretty awful Kids entertainment around the pool is horrendously repetitive and the woman's voice will make you want to jump off a cliff. Over all we had a pleasant time. My kids are 12 and 13 so easy to manage. I would definitely NOT come here without kids. It's perfect for a week in the sun. Simple and affordable. I am glad we only did a week. We were ready to come home after 6 days 100% 3 star hotel quality as rooms very tired. Very clean though so OK.
