It is absolutely a lovely hotel set in a wonderful location, food brilliant, anything you could want to eat is there, staff also very helpful and friendly, however I would say this is not a hotel with anybody with mobility issues...which I have and my Father who is 85 yrs old, there are very few railing and lot's and lot's of steps to go in and around the hotel itself (plus it is an upside down hotel, reception is on the 5th floor for for example, breakfast on the 3rd floor, we were on the 2nd floor) hope you get my drift, it took us of our holiday to figure out how to get anywhere!!...

Was so excited to go and it went down hill as soon as we turned up, we booked a suite with a huge balcony with sun beds and seating so we didn’t have to fight for them down by the pool so we checked in went to the room and they put us in a smaller room with next to no balcony so back to reception I go and they changed me to the room I was supposed to be in I don’t no why they didn’t put me in there first as it was empty anyway!... On the second to last day we had housekeeping just walk in the room early morning while we were in bed as she was told or thought the room was empty all in all a disappointing stay will be spending my money elsewhere!...

Unfortunately two nights into our ten night stay we had very heavy rain overnight and woke up to water pouring through the celling onto the bed... We were quickly offered a similar room and asked to have a look to see if we were happy... Room 566 similar layout a much poorer ocean view but we had a bath !... ...Felix told us we had a good room which was on the 9th floor overlooking the mountains. I asked if a sea view was available and he quoted an extra £147 per night for same standard room... To be honest, when we first entered the room, I was disappointed... It felt small and though the room did face the mountains, it was level with the hotel at the back where people were sunbathing on the roof terrace and it didn’t feel very private... The room was nicely presented but we felt the attention to detail was poor… mainly in the bathroom - our photos highlight these areas.. not what we expected for the price we paid and certainly not luxury... We went to reception to speak about the room and spoke to one of the girls on the desk... After a short conversation, and being asked to move to another desk (away from new folk checking in) she explained we were in a basic room and almost mocked my question about whether there were standard rooms with a sea view.. her attitude was supercilious and condescending which made me feel like the poor relation… she said it might be possible to be moved to a first floor room but as it was getting late, we decided to sleep on it... The live entertainment was good.. one benefit of being at the back meant we could not hear this from our room if we chose not to... all the sea view rooms, I’m guessing, will not be able to shut the sound out if they wished to... I’m not convinced I would - when spending what to us is a lot of money, I would be hoping for attention to detail in the luxury department and a larger room...

...We stayed on the bed and breakfast basis. The reason I've given it 3 stars; We booked last minute and got a standard double room... The room was clean, however whilst comfortable, one of the beds was broken so my husband tied them together to avoid one of the beds shooting off everytime he sat or laid on it... Also the wardrobe doors in the room were faulty and possibly broken too... The beds were being reserved by guests before breakfast and usually before 8.00am...

We stayed for 10 nights in September and really enjoyed our stay... Our room was cleaned everyday and to a good standard... We didn’t leave the hotel until 7pm on our day of departure and they were very accommodating in providing a courtesy room... The air conditioning in the rooms is very poor with me having to get cold showers before bed and rarely getting under the covers due to how hot it was... These few points stop the hotel being a 5* rather than the 4* rated...

In our opinion it would make much more sense to do the reverse!... ...I booked half board, the breakfasts are fab with great choices, however, I have got bored of the evening buffet, 3 nights and I’ve had enough. Next time I will book breakfast only... My room has everything you need, serviced daily, the main reason I give it 4 stars is the fact my balcony was kinda in the basement overlooking the street with hardly any view and daylight, pretty disappointing, not a nice place to sit and enjoy, my holiday wasn’t cheap, I really don’t think you should expect your guests to accept this with what they pay!...

...One of our favourite things about this hotel is that there is no mad rush for sunbeds in a morning, you can go to the pool at any time of day and you are always guaranteed to get some sunbeds... Unfortunately this is the one thing that would potentially put us off returning again... A cot and baby bath was provided for us to use which were great... Every single staff member we came across at the hotel was extremely friendly, especially towards our baby... She even learnt to wave whilst we were there due to all the staff always waving and smiling at her... We also ate at Babbo American Grill, the food and service here was really good although it all came very quickly and we would’ve enjoyed sitting and enjoying the live music before eating...

Rooms cleaned every day, beds comfortable, great bathrooms too and tea making facilities free of charge... We were b&b so went out for tea, next morning went for breakfast and wow how fantastic, selection was massive and something for every one including champagne and vodka!... The pool was lovely and warm, lots of sunbeds and pool side towels available at all times... I found all staff very friendly at all times... Hotel is 5 min walk to nearest beach...

The hotel is located just 20 minutes from TFS Airport, It is located in the busier end of Costa Adeje. On arrival the porters were attentive and arranged to take care of our luggage, we were escorted to the Preferred Club reception area, which is set aside for guests upgrading to Club rooms... Check in was fairly straight forward, albeit a little rushed as there was only one receptionist on duty and another guest was waiting to speak to the receptionist, we were told to wait for the porter to take us to our room, although we eventually found our own way, our bags turned up around 15 minutes later... We booked a Preferred Club Junior Suite, which was large and well appointed, with a comfortable super-king size bed, TV tea and coffee making facilities, plenty of wardrobe space, secure safe and fridge with complimentary water on the first day, after that bottled water was charged at €3.50 per bottle, free wifi throughout the hotel... The bathroom is large with a free-standing bath, separate shower (although the overhead show head needed maintenance attention) cubicle, toilet and twin sink... We had use of the preferred club lounge, terrace and separate sun deck with Bali style beds, which was great and made the upgrade worthwhile... The lounge is open for breakfast, also from 1:30pm for complimentary wine, soft drinks and pastries, from 4:30 to 7:00 they have an open bar with canopies, very enjoyable sitting on the terrace... The staff were very friendly, attentive and professional – All in all we enjoyed our 5-day break at this hotel...

We were quickly offered a similar room and asked to have a look to see if we were happy... Five days later still not fixed so basically we we just gave up... Part of the charm of 566 is the HGV lorry emptying the bottle recycling bin outside the room 2:30 am and various night time deliveries as the room is above one of the hotels service entrances... We booked with Jet2 who did email us a few weeks before we were due to arrive explaining the health suite was closed but as this was something we never used we thought nothing of it... The hotel is beautiful , breakfast is amazing as part of our booking we were part of The Preferred Club but in fairness it’s not something that appealed especially when you have to pass through either the outdoor restaurant or bar area to return there after swimming in the main pool...

We waited for less than 5 minutes until we where sat with one of the check in receptionists and checked in in no time, taken up to our room earlier than check in time, with one of the porters and instantly loved our room from the get go!... There is a kettle with tea and coffee, a mini fridge with water, beer, and soft drinks and enough space to add your own... 2 wine glasses, and a safe to use free of charge... Heated pool which was very much appreciated with low 20's temperature so you're comfortable, beautiful bridges crossing the pool... Pool & ping pong tables, a teenager space with darts/air hockey/beanbags, aqua gym & gym sessions everyday, & blankets at the sunset bar are some of special touches that we were really impressed by... ...Just returned from a lovely 6 night winter break with my daughter at this hotel. The pool is large and nicely heated... There are 2 bars near the pool both serving a wide range of drinks, with very friendly staff... The Lava bar in the evening has an extensive cocktail menu and you never had to wait long for someone to take your order... It is outside but not so loud that it would disturb anyone having an early night... The breakfast and evening buffet had a very wide choice... We ate at the American Grill one night which was also excellent... The hotel is in a great location - a gate behind the pool area leads straight to the promenade mid way between Los Cristianos and La Caleta so there are plenty of bars, restaurants and beaches easily accessible... ...It is very clean and comfortable and the staff are helpful and friendly. We stayed on the bed and breakfast basis... The reason I've given it 3 stars; We booked last minute and got a standard double room... The hotel advertised 2 pools, however one of the pools was not in use during our stay, which created a bit of an issue with the other pool... The beds were being reserved by guests before breakfast and usually before 8.00am... We tried the Sunset Bar and That's A Wrap during our stay... The Sunset Bar is in a good location to watch the sun go down, however whist my husband enjoyed his drink my strawberry daiquiri was undrinkable... The bar on a evening was pleasant, as were the drinks... The hotel is close to all the amenities and some good bars and restaurants only a stones throw away...

A great week spent in a great hotel. Very friendly staff, mentions to Victor and all his team at the Sunset bar, The Patricia's,Christina,Adonis,Gloria (who wecomed and checked us in) Simon in the Lava bar, in fact everyone who was happy to make sure we enjoyed our trip... A comfortable outside area where one could have a cigarette or cigar with a drink would be a good idea... Recommendations: I would make the Preferred sunbathing area a "quiet area" in other words no mobile phones... We went for the Preferred All inclusive option and we were very happy with this although we did not make much use of the lounge... The hotel looks good both inside and outside. The rooms are a standard size which is all we really needed...

...Well located near to a good selection of bars and restaurants, I don't think I would bother paying the extra for full board. The breakfasts had a really good selection of everything you could want and lots that you didn't know you would want... Very friendly staff, very well maintained gardens, no sunbed wars... What's not to love...

...Beautiful welcome by the concierge and reception Housekeeping standards are above and beyond what’s expected Food hall staff all very attentive friendly and professional from chefs to attendees. The restaurant manager at breakfast went above and beyond... I asked if l could put a card and flower on our breakfast table because it was our 3 rd Anniversary and ‘reserve’ it while l went to get changed (from they gym) When we arrived not only had he reserved the table but put a plate of tiny cakes on our table but a bottle of Cave on ice...

We stayed for 10 nights in September and really enjoyed our stay. The positive are that the hotel looks very modern and clean and is in an excellent location to access Costa Adeje and all its bars and restaurants... It is only a 10 minute walk from Siam Park... The pool area has sun all day no matter where you are sat... The pool area is a very good size... Our room was cleaned everyday and to a good standard... We didn’t leave the hotel until 7pm on our day of departure and they were very accommodating in providing a courtesy room... The places to eat for lunch and cocktails were outstanding..The only slight negatives we have from our stay are that the buffet items often were not very hot (but appreciate it’s difficult when cooking for so many people)... These few points stop the hotel being a 5* rather than the 4* rated... Overall I would recommend staying at this hotel if you want a relaxing stay in Tenerife...

...Room overlooking pool with a view over to La Gomera. Good size, very comfortable bed (would have preferred a double but cannot be that choosy for single occupancy)... Breakfast buffet is excellent, loved the fruit... Had a few cocktails and smoothies at the Saugar Reef, can recommned them... Very convenient location for local restaurants and easy walk to Fabane...

Firstly, we had a fantastic stay and I must say, I would return again to Dreams Jardin. It’s a beautiful hotel with real character and well maintained... Loved our room with an amazing view and the choice of food and drink was fabulous... We booked all inclusive and found this a great option, particularly with the choice of restaurants meaning that it wasn’t just buffet (even though the buffet was great too)... Loved that so many amazing cocktails were on offer, just ask for your favourite, especially sitting up in the gorgeous sunset bar... Location is perfect being able to stroll to Americas or Adeje... A few gripes, obviously the loss of the beach pool and Las Rocas was disappointing, I believe this is no fault of the hotel but wasn’t impressed that Tui didn’t bother to inform us or provide an explanation...

...It’s beautiful, flowers everywhere and the service is spot on. The breakfast has a huge amount of choice, you can sit inside or out... As well as the usual breakfast items there’s also, sparkling wine, chocolate fountains and fresh pancakes... We paid a little bit more for a pool view this time and it was worth it as last time we were overlooking the road...

...It has a totally unique style and we have seen the beautiful well tended gardens mature and the hotel really is an oasis of tranquillity with plenty of quiet corners and sunbathing spots. There is nothing more relaxing than sipping a cocktail watching a stunning sunset over La Gomera or having a long lazy lunch in Las Rocas Beach Club Rooms are well equipped and comfortable, spotless and we have always found both front of house and cleaning staff to be welcoming and very helpful Breakfasts are amazing... In both the club and main restaurant food is always of excellent quality with plenty of choice... Staff are attentive but not overbearing We have found paying a little extra for the Club experience to be good value with snacks and drinks available in a separate lounge area in the afternoon and evening... It adds that something special to an already special holiday vacation Looking forward to our next stay...

Nice hotel with good entertainment. Food OK but nothing to write home about. However, the biggest issue is the packed pool area. The hotel has lost much of its land but is packing the same number of customers into a much smaller pool area. Far too cramped. I don't want to have to crawl onto a bed because they are so closely packed together. This alone would stop me returning or recommending to others.

We had a lovely stay at the Jardin Tropical. Food was great, dining area was wonderful and staff excellent. Room was comfortable, maybe a little tired in places, few small holes in flooring and curtains but very clean and refreshed every day. View from balcony wasn't great but we didn't book a Seaview room but didn't expect a car park. Only other little thing, pool beds and brolleys were lovely but very squashed together and in busy periods would have been tricky getting one. Pool staff and area very well kept and looked after. Overall I would recommend this hotel we would definitely return and don't always feel like that about hotels we have stayed in.

Wonderful hotel. Great service - staff at reception and bars were very helpful and friendly. Facilities are excellent; pool is always clean, wifi is good all around, number of nice restaurants within the hotel, toilets are always clean. Sunset bar was our favourite- it was our daily ritual to go there from 6-7pm every evening for a cocktail or late coffee. Location is brilliant, not far from couple of beaches on either side, no noise from the bars, small shopping mall 2 mins up the road from hotel. We even got free use of room for 30mins in the afternoon after our checkout, so we can use the pool on the last day. Overall great experience, highly recommend this hotel !

The hotel is generally good, the staff are lovely and the various bars are all good. We didn't use any of the restaurants so can't comment on those. Plenty of choice for breakfast though quite a distance between all the sections and could be a problem if not very mobile. The coffee machines kept braking down and often only 2 out of 4 working, the quality of the coffee from the machines was poor. What really lets the hotel down is the rooms. We booked a junior suite and it was smaller than most double rooms in any other hotel we have stayed in on Tenerife.

This was our second visit to Jardin Tropical and again we opted for a sea view room. On this occasion we overlooked the pool and beach on the sixth floor. The room was a good size with a balcony. However, when sitting on the balcony, the wall is so high that you're unable to see anything whatsoever. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable and the room cleaned thoroughly each day. The only disappointment, and one that I remembered from our previous visit two years earlier, was that there was no hair conditioner which, for a four-star hotel, I would have expected as standard. Our highlight each day was the wonderful breakfast spread set over a huge area. There was an egg station for omelettes cooked to order, complimentary cava and even vodka if you fancied it. A huge selection of cold cuts and cheeses, hot dishes and even roasted meat! The fruit selection was large and varied, and this meal set us up for the rest of the day. No lunch was needed. Highly recommended, but I think we will try somewhere else on our next visit as we do like to vary our hotels.

We had a good relaxing week at this hotel and there is nothing fundamentally wrong with it and the location is fantastic, however we had a few issues which I will highlight below, note we booked the premium club half board and are experienced travellers. One reason for booking was the salt water pool next to the hotel but this no longer exists. Hotel literature still shows the pool being there and I found no mention of it closing. I’d suggest management update the picture as it shows lack of attention to detail. The way the premium club lounge is implemented is bizarre and makes no sense. In my view it should be open all day to around 10pm however it shuts at 7pm meaning although you have paid extra for the club you can’t get any drinks after this time. Therefore unless you are on all inclusive you are being forced to buy drinks at the bar or in the world buffet. Also it’s weird how at lunchtime the food is sweet snacks only, I’ve never met anyone who only eats sweet foods at lunchtime, it should also be the tapas (which are very nice) which is served only in the late afternoon. Very strange. The pool rules are not implemented. It states towels will be removed after one hour if a lounger is not used. Well we sat next to a couple who left for 3 hours and nothing happened. In the club terrace the beds were only ever 60% in use yet during the week every time we went there during the day towels were on loungers unused so we gave up going there. Signs for no diving allowed - well we saw loads of people diving in; babies in the main pool not being checked they had the right nappies; we even saw one lady washing her babies swim suit in the child pool and nothing was done! Despite all this my partner got criticised and stopped for using her inflatable. I understand you can’t watch everyone but either have rules and apply them or don’t. As we didn’t want to buy drinks in the world buffet we took our own water with us and a member of staff said we weren’t allowed to bring in water! This shocked us and her attitude made us feel harassed. We feel the lack of drinking water across the whole resort is a major error and should be available for free. After all it is a human right to have access to drinking water. Having stayed in other similar resorts it strikes me the hotel is trying to monetise every aspect UNLESS you have booked all inclusive. Having said all this the food was really good everywhere we ate, Ana in the club lounge was fantastic as were most of the other staff we spoke with. Lilly providing music at Saturday breakfast was the best we heard all week. In conclusion if you stay here book all Inclusive to make the most of the hotel.

Dear Stuh72, First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing the DREAMS Jardín Tropical for your visit and for the time you have spent writing your opinion. We accept and appreciate everyone’s feedback, as it is essential for us to evolve and improve our services in the near future, may them be positive or negative. Please accept our sincerest apologies if our establishment and the staff had not been up to your expectations for your holidays in Tenerife. All the pictures of the Beach Club Las Rocas have been removed from our official webpage. It is possible that some pictures are remaining on other sites that were taken before the area was closed by the Spanish authorities. Please be informed that In Spain, any structure that is part of the beach (or any place that is connected to the sea) is a public dominion, managed by the Spanish Government and thus never belonged to the Hotel. We will forward your comments on the snacks to the F&B department. The timetable for the is until 7 pm, because it is meant to be an aperitif, before dinner. We have already forwarded your comments on the pool rules to our area supervisors in order to detect any area of improvement in this aspect. We would like to apologize for the way the staff member told you that you were not allowed to bring your own water to the restaurants. In fact, it is not allowed. We offer water free of charge in our Reception and Gym area to all our clients, so all clients have access to drinking water. We will certainly pass your compliments to the staff and, in particular to Ana and Lilly. Again, thank you for the time you have spent in sending us your feedback. Sincerely, Quality Manager

What a delight of holiday!! From the greeting of the front desk to the turn down service every night. It was a first for me this type of holiday and thanks to the experience I had in Dreams Jardin Tropical, won’t be the last. The pool area very quiet with a rather large swimming pool. Buffet both for breakfast and dinner stand out for variety and quality!! We were on preferred club, so we had some breakfasts on the dedicated terrace which was lovely! Rooms clean and fully equipped. We were lucky to have it facing the sea… oh what a sunsets we whitness. Can’t thank enough for this experience. Will I come back? Yes! Would I recommend? Already have!!
