Love this place, have been many times over several years and it never fails to deliver. The staff make it especially magical and the spa is the best I have ever used anywhere. Charlotte, Andrea and Seneida, along with the other team members at the spa are truly at the top of thier field and deliver an amazing service. Can't wait to return.

Having stayed many times now this is a hotel we immediately feel welcomed and relaxed. Service is exemplary and staff are always on hand to assist. The restaurant choice and food options are varied as well as excellent quality. We made reservations in advance and the chosen times were accommodated without any issue. We were half board as we enjoy eating here so much. The alisios was a new favourite with the atmosphere, service and food excelling. It is always nice to see so many long serving staff members still present. For the first time we utilised the astronomy and our 4 year old loved seeing the planets and time spent with the staff member one to one. We will be returning again

After staying here around 2 weeks I thought I’d give it enough time to share my full experience from the entirety of our stay. This hotel was recommended to us by friends. Once we had landed at Tenerife airport we were waiting 40 minutes for the hotel private transfer to arrive. This was our first holiday since covid and not the best first impression. We were walking around for half an hour looking to see if anyone had our names on a sign to pick us up, walking up and down the airport. I then rung the hotel and they advised they’d ring me back. A few minutes later the taxi driver turned up and put the excuse down to ‘traffic’. We set off on the way to the hotel and there was no traffic in sight at all. We wasn’t in ANY. Why lie? Why not ring us and let us know you’d be late? 40 minutes late! We were really upset that we’d payed for private transfers. Why put the excuse down to traffic when there genuinely wasn’t any traffic at all? The roads were clear. We were really disappointed with our room. We had a LOT of mould growing in the shower which I will attach pics of. This again shouldn’t be happening in a 5* hotel. We had a leak in the room from the fridge which was everywhere. It was lucky we didn’t slip. I hate to think if an elderly couple was in our room if they would’ve slipped over on the water! It could’ve been very serious. My advice to anyone that struggles with steps/walking is not to book this hotel. It is on a lot of reviews how many steps there are. We heard a lot of elderly couples complain Atleast every day about how many steps there are and that they are really struggling. There are steps EVERYWHERE. If you are a young couple or a family with kids I don’t think this is the hotel for you. There aren’t any ‘heated pools’ the heated pools that they claim are SO cold. Which again, a lot of people mention in reviews and complain about. Why doesn’t the hotel do something about this? This hotel has SO much potential. It could really be outstanding. The staff at this hotel are lovely. The lovely lady at reception with blonde hair you are amazing. The staff are a real credit to this hotel. And we wouldn’t have had the experience we did without the staff. The hotel breakfast buffet is lovely too. We went half board. My advice to you, is not to bother. We were told to ring in the morning to book the restaurant you’d like for dinner. That’s what we did only to be told the restaurant we wanted was fully booked? So we paid extra for half board only for it to be fully booked? Not only that, any other restaurants we wanted only had reservations for 9pm which is too late for us to eat. We have to be careful what we eat due to intolerances and had to eat out many nights because we couldn’t fit in anywhere. It simply isn’t good enough. There was a few restaurants left for us too book but only the ones you have to pay extra for/ the ones that we couldn’t go to because of intolerances. The restaurant that is open to the public on the beach front was our worst restaurant we tried. We were sat waiting 15 mins for someone to take our order. It wasn’t just us, other customers were sick of waiting around and kept asking to order only to be told ‘I will send someone over’ and never did. Again for a 5* hotel this shouldn’t be happening. We sadly didn’t enjoy the food here either but I think that’s down to personal preference. I don’t like picking out things that are wrong with hotels as we are positive people and like to enjoy things fully before we judge our experience. However, we sadly will not be returning to this hotel. I’d recommend iberostar anthelia which is not far from Bahia del Duque. We will be staying there next time. We’ve stayed in much better 4* hotels. Please do your research before staying here and whether or not this is the right hotel for you. It certainly wasn’t the right hotel for us

We stayed in the Casas Ducales with it's own reception and buffet restaurant. It also has complimentary soft and alcoholic drinks available for consumption in the reception area or terrace. The rooms are large with excellent amenities such as ironing board and hairdryer. The hotel facilities are excellent too with numerous restaurants and brasseries all with a great selection of hot and cold food and drink. The location is right on the beach and within walking distance of the neighbouring resorts. This was a fantastic stay and would definitely return.

We had an amazing week at the Casa Ducales which is part of this hotel. The staff were fantastic. The hotel was quiet, the bedrooms superbly appointed and serviced. The extra service you get at Ducales is worth the extra price. The pools were amazing and not busy. The two heated pools were plenty warm enough. Plenty of sunbeds to chose from. We will totally come back if we can afford to. My only comment is that it would be useful if one of the hotel restaurants served just light evening meals as the portions were so huge that sometimes it would be nice to just have a light salad or only a starter without feeling like you are taking a space in a fully booked restaurant.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We have absolutely loved it both times. We are already booked to return later this year. There is no other hotel & complex that comes close to this one. We hope we will be able to come back time and time again. The staff are fantastic. The rooms are superb. The whole complex is beautifully maintained. The food and restaurants are excellent. This is simply paradise.

We are currently staying at this hotel and felt I should write a review as I’ve been so impressed! The hotel has an old school glamour, set in beautiful grounds with views out to sea. The rooms are beautiful and are spotlessly clean (housekeeping do a fantastic job), the breakfast has every choice possible, the restaurants are fabulous, the staff go above and beyond…. What more can I say?! If you decide to stay here I honestly can say you won’t be disappointed, and like us you’ll be booking to come back soon. Thank you Bahia del duque!

Option of pools good. Beach access and the beach itself was very good. Enjoyed the sea and snorkelling near the reef, saw some fishes.
