A beautiful hotel in gorgeous grounds, well spread out albeit on a hillside so beware if you have mobility issues. So many little pathways, stairs and bridges to explore leading to different pools, little bars, boutiques, restaurants etc. Would definitely recommend a sea view, and ask for a furnished balcony. Our room was lovely. Make restaurant reservations at the Club House. All staff are lovely and greet you with a smile. Highly recommend

lovely hotel, although large and you think you will get lost, after the first day it doesn't seem that way and quite easy to navigate. staff very friendly. rooms lovely especially if you have one overlooking the sea.

On arriving we felt quite disorientated, and so many steps! Though after a while found a slope making life much easier. But we fell more in love with this hotel every day, stayed in a lovely suite which had lots of space, and was very comfortable, a little noisy from the road so next time a sea view would be better. The staff are just the best, so attentive and warm and very friendly, we loved choosing a different restaurant in the hotel every night, the spa is the most tranquil relaxing space I’ve ever been too! A wonderful holiday that I can’t wait to go on again..

My husband and i spent 4 nights in November here celebrating my 50th birthday. Form the moment of arrival until we left we loved every minute. Great welcome at check in, the room was lovely and had great air conditioning with a lovely balcony view over the hotel. All the restaurants looked lovely - we only tried the one as we wanted to explore a bit further (La Trattoria) - fantastic food and wine as always at this hotel amazing service! So many pools and great layout meant you never had to worry about getting a lounger - pool attendants were right there with fresh towels happy to set everything up. Great service from the waiters who brought you drinks all day - great service again. Lots of quiet and shady areas if you did not want to sit in the sun - best of both worlds. Location was 5 mins walk from Playa De Duche shopping centre and perhaps 15 mins walk to Adeje main restaurant/bars which was a lovely walk along the sea front. Will definitely be back !

We booked through Jet 2 holidays and we were pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went . Our flights and private transfers both ways went without a hitch and the jet 2 staff were great. The only thing I would add is that you would have to organize a car child seat in advance or bring your own. The hotel itself is fantastic. Very child friendly . Lovely welcome . We were very lucky to be upgraded to a gorgeous president suite with a hot tub and balcony and rooms over two floors! Thankyou to the hotel for doing that. Overall there were occasional signs of things needing a bit of upgrading or attention but on the whole I thought everything looked smart, pretty and in keeping with the hotel’s style. The service is fantastic . The staff are friendly and accomodating and there’s a lot of them! I think the whole time I only noticed one less helpful , rather grumpy looking member of staff ( a woman supervising the kids pool who was always on her phone ) . A particular thankyou to Tania and Ruben in kids club which was very quiet in November so sometimes it was more like one to one care for my daughter. Roberto in the restaurant was also lovely. The housekeeping staff kept our rooms immaculate and were very friendly. There are a few restaurants which all were very good. The waiting staff were great and so kind to our daughter. The only restaurant I found a bit frustrating was the Japanese one ( Kensei) which was very slow to even give us menus and then seemed to forget to get my husband a glass of wine when asked , however the food was excellent . The hotel grounds are beautiful. A lot of stairs which was fine for us and there are lifts around but it’s a very large spread out hotel so you have to familiarise yourself with which lift you need to take you to get to where you want to go. Other points to mention -great spa and treatments but a bit tricky to find so the hotel could improve on signs generally. - beach is a few metres from hotel exit , it’s pleasant and has dark coarse sand, sunbeds are available to hire. - nearby shopping mall and restaurants on beach front. - nice gym on site and some good exercise classes. - lovely grounds - my husband noticed that service is added to bills sometimes and then I think added to your bill at end of stay ( obviously with your permission) so if you tip extra which I was doing for drinks and meals you might be doubling up. This is fine but just thought it’s worth being aware of.

Fine once you get there but using the hotel airport transfer partner is a failing that got our start and end spoiled. We were left at the airport for up to an hour by the "luxury private transfer" via TUI while Jet2's coach transfers appeared to be running pretty smoothly! First time in Tenerife. Didn;t expect to be strnnded. Had to chase them to collect us. Then, half an hour late picking us up to get to airport at then end after having to force a sensible departure time and having to chase again (thise given were too short. No doubt trying to tie in with arrivals rather than us). If you have to use the hotel transport - go to a different hotel. If not - get your own transport. Not sure how much the transfer cost as it wasn't separated but there were loads of taxis at the airport - which came and went while we were waiting......and waiting...........

My husband is an introvert and I an ambivert, we loved every inch of Bahía del Duque. It gave us both what we needed. I love swimming and he loves a good spa. @Anna- you were amazing, love your tour guide skills. I'd rate this hotel a 10/10 for every thing, from service to people, food, pools, beach, it was absolutely amazing. I underestimated Tenerife and now I want to visit this stunning island again. It's gorgeous. THANK YOU AGAIN Bahía del Duque for giving us a beautiful honeymoon to remember for the rest of our lives <3 <3

It’s been over 15 years that my wife and I have been coming here Usually in October when it’s still Pleasantly warm This time a stay in casa ducales in a lovely room with 2 balconies for 2 weeks then the villas area for a week , that has its own large pool for residents only and champagne on tap after 4 pm We have been coming here because it lives up to its aim of being «  simply outstanding «  The gardens , the many restaurants the very friendly staff Who mostly have been there since we first came . Favourite restaurants here the Italian trattoria , the French brasserie the beach restaurant run by the terribly nice and efficient luis and finally the kensei Japanese style food All enjoyable We really don’t bother to leave thé hôtel ,no need , a very pleasant food manager , David Cameron look alike goes round the restaurants ensuring customers are being looked after , Christina de Juan the wonderfully named general manager also keeps an eye on the whole place and had a chat with us at the beach restaurant . So as regular guests they look after us , but anyone will be given the same welcome it’s genuinely a Reliable place to return to and although we have not tried any other tenerifean hotel apart from the Abama(slipping somewhat on our last visit ) I would place a large bet on this being the best hotel on the island A mention for Zaira thé manager at casa ducales smiling away and being efficient ,Moro at the Italian ,Robert everywhere but mainly the brasserie the staff at kensei . So no apologies for enthusiastic review - as they say we will return
