Me and my Wife visited this hotel for a winter getaway before Christmas and this time we wanted a hotel that was closer to a busier region of Tenerife. We visited for a week and went for the Levels all-inclusive package and in my opinion, it was worth the extra. The location of the hotel is a 20–30-minute transfer from the Southern Tenerife Airport and sits on a hill overlooking Costa Adeje; the views are fantastic. It is only a few minutes away from a local market that is open on Thursdays and Saturdays and a 15–20-minute walk to the beach. I will be honest, if you do have mobility issues, this hotel is spread on multiple levels so it’s not so easy to get around. The room we went for was one designated for the Levels and came with a sea view and was located near the upper east side of the hotel. The marketing pictures are pretty much spot on in what you get, and we were very happy with our allocation. As we went for the all-inclusive Levels package, the free minbar in the room was perfect for refreshments whenever we wanted them. The terrace was large enough to soak up the sun if you didn’t want to leave your room and it was cleaned daily with a turndown service. The entertainment in the evening was provided by third parties with mostly singers, entertainers, and dancers from 20:30 and went on till 23:00. So, if you are an early riser, do not expect to get to bed at a time before 23:00 as the music can be heard throughout the hotel. The daytime entertainment was all exercise classes, and my wife took advantage of the morning Pilates, Tai Chi and Yoga provided by Luisa and Carla, who were excellent. All the pools are fresh water and unfortunately, on our visit, from the 26 November 2022, neither were heated so weren’t utilised much by others. However, the Levels pool was a great space and perfect for relaxing so worth the extra. The food and drink were much akin to other hotels providing the all-inclusive option as meals were quite similar every day with an alternative protein on the hot plate and roast section. However, with the options available, you could easily eat something different every day by building your own dishes. The best thing about the food was the desserts, which in my opinion were the best I’ve had in an all-inclusive hotel. If you are a vegetarian there were very good options and the salad bars were rotated routinely but if you are a vegan, it was a bit more difficult. Another reason for the Levels packages was the cocktails and the happy hour with self-serve drinks - what a great touch. I did make my way through most of the menu, and they were not the pre-mix variety. The service in my opinion was fantastic, every member of staff made you feel welcome and would try to cater to your requests. I do not understand some people’s reviews where they have said otherwise. I will admit, knowing a bit of Spanish would go a long way here as guests, but not essential. The bars near reception and the pools were a combination of table service and walk up but I found going to the bar, far quicker. Overall, I loved our visit here and would not hesitate to get the Levels package again. I am a very active person, so the levelled layout of the hotel suited me perfectly for me to get my steps in. The hotel was immaculate, the food great, the service excellent and I found it value for money so worth a visit.

Hotel's Favorite
Well where do I begin, I will start with what my family & I had difficulty with but managed to adapt our holiday, not all families would be in a position to do this however therefore worthy of constructive criticism also, after listening to fellow holidaymakers moaning about the same thing. The food in the main restaurant lunchtimes & evenings is not geared up for plain eaters/children etc, my entire family struggled everyday to find something to eat other than chips, my 15 year old is a very plain eater chicken nuggets, pizza etc. Whilst the hotel has only been reopen due to Covid since April, it is understandable that it is of course set up for Spanish clients as the UK tourism has only recently over the last 2 months properly opened again allowing us to visit (Hence why my review stated constructive criticism). We adapted by visiting the poolbar/restaurant which for all inclusive guests is available from 4-6pm, I would simply ask you consider opening this up full stop to all inclusive clients as the menu/food down there was exceptional. I cannot understand why you restrict this with a time slot, this is the reason my title is "Almost Perfect". We ate out the majority of our 2 weeks to support the local businesses in Costa Adeje and had some truly fabulous meals, this was our intention from the outset to help the Spanish economy. NOW the BEST BITS, Hotel immaculate, Spotlessly clean, efficient, welcoming friendly staff, Covid safer than the UK, temperature checked when re-entering. "The Level Service & Benefits" Personal Check In, Private breakfast, full buffet, juice, tea/coffee, cakes, menu to include Poached eggs, Eggs Benedict, pancakes & literally everything to could imagine cooked to order, Private Pool area OUTSTANDING. Full fridges with beers, fresh juices, fizzy drinks, water & at Tapas Time (5-30-6-30) a full bar of spirits all branded and certainly no rubbish. Staff down there Anna, Carolyn, Yeray, Estefania, their attention to detail & professionalism was outstanding indeed. I needed numerous documents printed in resort for various matters & the welcoming manner in which my request was greeted is something I have never experienced at all, not a single thing was a trouble to any of the people and you all should be proud of the way in which you take pride in your jobs, deliver a service that is OUTSTANDING. A couple of others to mention Johann & Lisbet in the bar upstairs & Toni the photographer from the "Say Cheese" desk what a lovely personable guy as well as Alexander the Lifeguard. Finally the overall outstanding star of the entire show goes to "RAMON" The Level Pool Waiter, you will remember my drinks Ramon, 2 Beers with Sprite!!!!!, I cannot thank you enough for the way in which you made this holiday for my entire family the most relaxing, enjoyable & one for us all to remember thanks to you!. It is people that Ramon that make you smile and realize sometimes the important things in life, his main priority for our 2 weeks was to make sure we did as little as possible, believe you and me that was exactly the case, I only remembering going to get my own drink on your days off!!!. From the Foster Family rooms, 814 (2 Weeks) & 817 (1 Week) I would like to offer my sincere thanks from my entire family, I wish you all a very successful 2021 as well as the future.

Stayed here for a week in the Level area. Ismael at the Level reception was wonderful as were the staff at breakfast and 5.30/6.30 tapas time. Breakfast was delicous from the self-serve to the cooked food as were the varied snacks in the evening. Our room, a junior suite was spotlessly clean and had a fantastic view over the sea. We loved the Level pool area and had lunch there a couple of days which was good value. My mother who is older would have liked a hand rail at the steps to get into the pool, a minor bother but it did stop her getting in. I did an aqua fitness session with Luisa in the larger pool which was good fun. The hotel is in a quieter hilly area but only 10 mins walk to the beach, the complimentary hotel bus to the beach didn't arrive at 5pm to bring us back up so ended up getting a taxi with another few people which cost 4.50 between 5 of us, very reasonable. I would hope to visit this hotel again.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Meliá this November. I had a wonderful stay. The hotel itself looks lovely which is a great start. I loved the welcoming reception team too. I had a drama with my mobile phone going missing and they were absolute angels with calmly helping me locate it via the airport taxi service! That really was a huge help to me and I’m very grateful. My room was spacious and clean and my bed very comfortable. Breakfast selection was great - nice and varied. I loved having breakfasts in the seating area outside overlooking Adeje. The best part of my experience and actually one of my main motivations for picking the hotel was the activities. They had a great schedule and a solo traveler looking for some fitness and entertainment, it was exactly what I needed. It was a pleasure to meet Carla and Luisa from the team and Carla ran some great classes - from yoga and Pilates to HITT and aqua fit. It really delivered what I was looking for. So drawbacks were - limited a la carte dessert and poor sound proofing and the pool not having a shallow end. I couldn’t get anything sweet to enjoy in my room - room service option was just fruit. That being said, I did have very tasty main meals via room service. Sound proofing - because of the structure of the hotel, you can hear everything from outside so at times when there is loud traffic or some kind of construction (or refuse) vehicle at night, it’s not great for peaceful sleeping. All in all I had a great stay and would definitely return.

This is the second time i’ve stayed at this hotel for business. I won’t be booking it again. When you arrive the reception staff are very ‘glum’ no welcoming smile , eye contact etc… And… you are not allowed your room key prior to 15.00hrs . Even if your room was ready.. it won’t be given to you. All arrivals are sent to sit and wait , then at 15.00hrs a queue forms and the reception staff give you your room key with with what seems like reluctance ! It’s all very odd of a 5* hotel.

Had a lovely break for a weeks sun and thoroughly enjoyed the Level Experience. Generally the staff were very good (particularly in the level area for breakfast) although the main reception could be a little indifferent Fab room with lovely views but just a shame about the air conditioning. Not working on arrival but improved slightly after 2 visits from maintenance! Variety and quality of food at breakfast was excellent. Would certainly return and will recommend. The location is excellent and only a 10/15 min walk to beach

Travelled here with Jet2 for a 5 night break in mid November. We came on a bed and breakfast basis as we wanted to spend time walking around in the evenings trying different bars and restaurants, whereas we would usually do all-inclusive. The hotel classes itself as 5 star whereas Jet2 calls it 4 stars, which is much closer to reality. Our room was a bit disappointing when we first entered it. It’s classed as a deluxe room, but it is their standard room, so I'm not sure what they are comparing it to to call it deluxe. It was ok though, decent towels, good air conditioning although the middle setting didn’t work so it was either full blast cool or “off” but we slept well. The balcony was a waste of time though, just a plastic table and 2 chairs on a small balcony facing a car park and getting no sun at any point during the day. I’d be surprised if anyone ever sat on it, except someone desperate for a smoke or to dry clothes. Bathroom was ok, 2 sinks, but only 1 of them had hot water for some reason. The shower was over the bath in our room but worked well. The hotel itself is built on the side of the hill over 10 levels (-1 to 8) but to get from our room on the 7th floor (room 733) you had to get 3 lifts to the pool on -1 level. Staff are all friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean. The fact it is on a hillside gives lovely views over the sea. As we were only b&b we never ate the buffet dinner or lunch but we did try the Italian restaurant, Casa Nostra, which had a limited menu but my wife thought it was delicious and service was very good. Breakfast was good, not the hottest I’ve ever had but tasty and a decent selection but best to make use of the microwave to heat it up. When you go all inclusive, often the drinks/cocktails you get are made from local cheap stuff, which I understand, but when you are not all inclusive I don’t expect to be served that rubbish when you are paying good money for it. My wife had a Margarita when we first arrived at the  Blue bar which was basically lime cordial in a salt rimmed glass, “coz they didn’t have all the ingredients at that bar” no suggestion of a refund tho when I took it back and they should have told us that when ordering that they couldn’t make a proper one. Suffice to say that although the beer was ok to drink (but still well overpriced at 5 euros) we never bought any more drinks at the hotel and preferred to bring drinks back to the room from the nearby mini Market, if we weren’t eating out. There was a glass bottle of water provided in the room when we arrived but it was never replaced once opened and we were not sure if there was free water by the pool, if there was it wasn’t obvious to us. The pool area itself was nice enough, but the sunbeds are little too close together. Surprisingly, at least to us, for those on all inclusive, there was no drinks service at the sunbeds. We only stayed by the pool for the first morning, though, and spent the rest of our time at the beach. Overall, although hotel staff were friendly, food decent, and service generally good, it left us feeling disappointed. First impressions can count for a lot, and our first few hours tainted our perception. Shame, but that’s how it was for us.

went there for first time with big family, this is now an adults only hotel which is great at the end of oct 2022 for 1 week we stayed at the level which I think is a great solution and option for guest, would always take that option. when we came to the hotel the room we got did not have as big balcony as others and I wanted to change the room. Carolina Alvarez was the one who took care of us and her team when we came and she was so helpful to change the room for me the next day. all other question, service and etc she and her team did a great job fantastic service overall

OK here we go! This is not a 5* hotel so if you’re expecting luxury, good food & good service this hotel isn’t for you! Had to change rooms, our deluxe sea view room was awful. The bath had all sticky stuff in the bottom the toilet flush was like a joy stick that moved around the balcony doors when I opened them to check the sea view came off the runners & there was no sea view unless you leaned over the balcony & craned your neck!! All inclusive is not all inclusive. Tuna salad at pool bar not all inclusive a strawberry daiquiri not all inclusive not all wine us all inclusive. A La carte restaurant not all inclusive. So your only option is the buffet restaurant. Everything is Luke warm so they provide a microwave to reheat your food!! The majority of the staff don’t want to be there. They are so rude. Asked for coffee & cups (table not laid properly)At breakfast the waitress needed asking twice. Then when she brought them just dumped them on the table! Cups were still stacked & no saucers then she gave a big sigh…unbelievable! The restaurant greeter LAURA was the exception. Absolutely lovely always happy to help & always smiling & friendly. Arrived back at our room for a coffee after a day out but the coffee & milk hadn’t been replenished! Rang reception said they’d send some up. Rang again after an hour then again after a further hour! Eventually it arrived! This happened again the next day! Just replenish them when the room is serviced! It’s not rocket science!!!! Fridge in the room totally empty! Having been to a lot of 5* all inclusive hotels around the world I would expect the fridge to have water sodas snacks & beers in at the very least! I am so disappointed by my experience as I booked this holiday as a thank you to my sister for all her love & support since my stage 4 cancer diagnosis in 2020.

This was the 2nd visit to this hotel the first being in November 2019 and my return visit was just as good as the first if not better. Stayed half board on the Level which meant access to the level pool and the level lounge where you can access water, soft drinks, wine and cava along with snacks up until 10pm. Cocktail hour between 5:30 and 6:30 pm is also fantastic. It is the staff who make this a wonderful hotel and a truly relaxing holiday, everyone from the reception staff, waiters and cleaners are so polite and helpful. Ramon by the level pool is a legend and now with assistance from Javier also making sure you have enough pool towels and drinks - if you want them. Special mention also to Julian Moran who works in both the level lounge and Mosiac restaurant and the chefs cooking the steaks fresh each night. The food is buffet style like most hotels of this size and I found the food of a good quality and really delicious . Unlike other reviewers I had no problem with my drinks and they were all top brands, generous measures and a decent price. The design and layout of this hotel is quirky and built into the side of the volcanic hill so be prepared to have to navigate the bank and the different levels of the hotel but even if you have mobility issues you would still be able to enjoy it with plenty of lifts and bridges over the main pool. It is a 10 minute walk down the bank to the beach and promenade and I would highly recommend turning right and walking along to La Caleta a lovely fishing village filled with tapas and fish restaurants. If you turn left this will take along to Fanabe with cocktail bars and a variety of restaurants. Thank you to all at Jardine del Teides for another memorable stay.
