Nice quiet place in the heart of the area. Clean spacious apartment, we had hot tub and massive outdoor terrace facing the sea. Nice small kitchen, had enough pots pans etc to get by. Pool area always quiet. Short walk to beach and tons of bars restaurants. Had a great time, well worth it.
I absolutely love this hotel. This was the third time we have visited in the last 12 months and never want to come home at the end of our stay. We upgraded this time for a room with a jacuzzi and it was fabulous and the outdoor space was huge! The hotel is always immaculate and the staff are first class. Will definitely be returning soon.
Nice, spacious, comfortable, clean place at a location where eating out is a breeze with dozens of restaurants and cafes in the area. To be honest, Adeje was a little too loud and teeming to our taste, but it was a good basis for us to explore the island (with our rented cars). The staff and the management of the Flamingo Suites were really wonderful: always helpful, smiley, and prompt. We had a couple of issues to take care of (such as a partial cancelation of one of the three pre-paid rooms we had reserved), and they -- in particular, Oleg, the manager -- were super accommodating and professional. As were the very nice receptionists and the people with whom we talked/messaged before our trip.
Came across this hotel when walking along promenade was approached by a man ( Tim) looking to do a survey and wanting to promote self catering facilities to help the small local traders rather than the all inclusive hotels. At the end of the survey proceeded to produce tickets with prizes for participating. I had won a bottle of wine and my wife conveniently enough had won either "120euros , a Samsung tablet or 7 free nights Accommodation in the Canaries" All you had to do was to go up and take a look around the Flamingo hotel. We had said we would maybe call in later but Tim was persistent that we go now as he gets paid commission on the number of viewers that he can entice As we hadn't anything else planned we went up to look at the Flamingo suites just to give us options should we want to return back to Tenerife . There we met Adrian, an affable enough fellow, who sat us down and talked about the hotel, took us to see the pool area and then sat us down again and talked about how the local council was trying to entice more visitors to look at self catering to support the small restaurants. he kept asking if we liked what we saw and everything looked OK although a little quiet. had asked to see rooms but there seemed to be a lot of delay tactics going on. Eventually got a look at a room and it looked reasonable enough a room and clean enough etc so I could see us considering staying there. Then came the hard sell- " If you like what you see why don't you book for a special deal today- " Told Adrian that we would consider the hotel but not wanting to commit to anything now. Next thing we were introduced to another chap who started to do calculations and could offer us 4 weeks accommodation for £4000 paid up front and can be used over the next 4 years but we would have to commit to going every year. I told Adrian and the other chap that we weren't going to commit to anything and would need time to think about it, " This offer is only available to you now when you are here" we were told. My wife then said that this had gone on for an hour and half and we were wasting this holiday talking about another one so we were going to leave. The whole tone suddenly changed and we were ushered out, gave a bottle of cheap wine and other ticket showed a holiday won from a non existent web site Hotel looks reasonable enough guys but dont think i could ever stay now as want to relax not listen to a hard sell for next year…
We recently stayed here for a couple of nights and it was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We couldn't have late check out but they let us use all the facilities like the pool and towels etc. They let us have a shower as well and it was spacious and had shampoo and body wash and towels. The pool was lovely. The rooms were spacious and had everything you need for a few nights. We had a one bed room but they put another bed in the living room for the third person; it didn't take up all the space which was nice. The balcony is lovely and large with a table, chairs and loungers. There was security on at night and staff in the day. The pool was so peaceful away from the busy beach. You could just about make out the noise from the place across the road but barely and wasn't an issue for sleep (and I live in the countryside so peace is needed for sleep). We got a welcome drink too. Everything felt clean and well kept. The beach is so close, the location is great, restaurants and shops everywhere, a supermarket just up the road; you could walk half an hour up the road or a minute down to the beach and find restaurants and shops, there is always something. I'd really recommend here, a little bit of peace and somewhere quiet to come back to after the lively town.…
Just had 4 day break with friends. Really nice hotel and fantastic room with plunge pool. All the staff are exceptionally welcoming. Nothing is too much bother at all. Rooms spotless. Would definitely recommend and definitely coming back. 10/10.
I must say this place is amazing The staff are so friendly the place is spotless We stayed in a large apartment for 4 and we had a single bed in the living room ( so 5 of us altogether) All the rooms are massive as is the fabulous balcony with a hot tub and covered eating area We felt like we were in a 5 star ⭐️ villa and can’t wait to go again 😊
We booked a short break here during a covid window. We thought we had booked a hotel toom but it was an apartment with a kitchen, living room, bedroom bathroom and a very large balcony- one of the biggest I have had. Everything was clean and worked well. The wifi was very fast. I didnt quite get the hang of the tv box. There is a pool in the courtyard area - along with towels and chairs. The staff were very friendful and helpful and sorted out a couple of things on the pc/printer we couldnt do on our phone The breakfast was brought up to your room from the cafe below. It was cooked for us, tasty and plentiful. Although the place has a lift you will have to negotiate some steps into the hotel and up to your room. So long as thats not a problem for you thoroughly recommended
My husband and I were enjoying our first visit to Tenerife but while wandering along from our hotel, we were stopped by a persistent woman keen to offer us a chance to win a prize. Now, we have been around the block a couple of times and declined her offer. But she made clear that this was how she made her living, it was not a time-share trick and all we had to do was take a card and see if we had won a prize. Surprise, surprise, we did win! I won a bottle of wine but my husband won 120 euros. All we had to do was stop into the hotel over here, it was very close, there would be someone there to meet us, it would take no more than thirty minutes, we would give a few details, be offered a drink and be given our prize. But that's not quite how it went. We decided our wander could be delayed by thirty minutes for 120 euros and followed her to the hotel. A charming man behind the desk offered us a seat and spent a great deal of time taking many details, the only ones he omitted were our inside leg measurements and hat size. Then he introduced us to a young lady who would show us around and get our drinks for us. She was also charming and told us about being a single Mum, how she worked on commission and re-assured us that this was not a time-share resort. She took us to the onsite bar and offered us drinks - water with or without ice! A pushy man came and butted in, but I said he should leave the young lady, she was doing fine. Things then got progressively worse. She told us of the improvements intended for the resort. and led us for a walk around it. It was very hot and there were lots of stairs to go up and down before we used the one small elevator that only went two floors. She offered to show us a computer presentation, which we did not want but she would lose her job if we didn't see it. Just ten minutes. Thirty minutes later, we went on another hot walk up and down, up and down those stairs to see inside an apartment. The apartments are large, well appointed and some have lovely views. (Others do not.) We then went for another walk for a drink. By now we were dehydrated, had lost three hours of our lives we would never get back and so even the water tasted better. As we were sitting, the young woman finally revealed the catch: we were to pay £4,000 today and we would get holidays over a four year period at a fixed price and they would arrange the flights and transfers but if we missed two slots in a row we lost the rest of our money. Then the man came back and repeated all the same things the young woman had told us. My husband said we would have to think about it. The man did not like that idea - this was a today only offer. so we said, then we would have to miss out on the deal but we'd like our prize. The man pushed us, we could put the cost on a credit card, it would cost us half what we normally paid on a holiday. Did we like Tenerife? Yes we do. Will we be back, yes we will, did we like the resort. The apartments are well appointed, I'm not crazy on the stairs and I don't have my credit card with me, neither of us do. That's not a problem, he'll come with us to the hotel and take the details and get the deal settled. No, you won't. I'm hungry. I'm dehydrated. I'm going back to our hotel for lunch and I haven't had my promised drink here, I haven't been given my wine and my husband hasn't been given his 120 euros. Far from taking the thirty minutes we were promised, we have been dragged around this resort for three hours and my nice nature has left the building. Luckily, my husband is not a man to be trifled with either. We left. no richer, but no poorer and a little wiser. Would I visit The Flamingo again? Under no circumstances. There are far better hotels and apartment buildings within a stone's throw of that one. Costa Adeje is beautiful. The deal pressed on us by those at The Flamingo was not. Val Penny…
Stayed here for 6 days floors not cleaned and deluxe apartment was infested with ants which we had to sort ourselves after waiting two hours, also had cockroaches in the accommodation and was told this is normal and they only fumigate every 3 months Paid for private pool but it was broken, constantly had workmen just walking in,said it was the sand storm and refused to refund any money back to us but offered 15% off next booking!! would never recommend this accommodation it’s very much once you have paid that’s it, thankfully booking.com helped us Really do not like leaving a bad review but emailed and gave them every chance to make things right and they are adamant they will not do anything, been going to Tenerife for 30 years and never had cockroaches in my accommodation! Yuck
