Firstly I love this hotel and the location is perfect. I’ve stayed here several times but I probably wouldn’t go back again. The rooms are large and cleaned properly every day. The food is good, room service is excellent value for this class of hotel and the drinks are not over priced. Travelling during Covid we didn’t know what to expect, but the hotel was amazingly organised and clean. It definitely felt safer than being in the UK. The selection of activities for children is great. The water park is brilliant, the family spa is fantastic and the kids club is fun. Monica and Brenda were fantastic with my children. The gym is small and had to be prebooked for a 45 minute session but it was adequate for me. The buffet restaurant is a bit like a canteen but it’s fine. There is always a decent meat or fish option, it doesn’t feel like mass produced buffet food and is constantly replenished. The salads and desserts are lovely. It’s a 5* hotel and it feels like one most of the time, but sometimes the service just doesn’t match the rating. I am not one to find fault but it seems like my issues were the same as other reviewers on TA. My 6 year old pulled her mask under her chin in the dining room once, only once in six weeks (honestly)...Julie really wasn’t happy. She asked me how old my daughter was and said she should be wearing a mask. I agreed, apologised and immediately told my daughter to pull her mask up. Julie couldn’t leave it there though, she had to say ‘Other guests are complaining about you’. I doubt they were (the dining room was empty at 6pm), but even if they were she could have handled it better, and I never felt entirely comfortable in her presence again. The lifeguards at the family pool don’t really watch things. They are sat in a corner and don’t walk around the pool like in normal 5* resorts. I’m obviously keeping an eye on my own children constantly but felt like I couldn’t turn my back to replace a towel on my sun lounger because it was really obvious they were not watching the pool at all. I wouldn’t have felt comfortable reading a book. They didn’t ask me if I’d had a nice stay when I left. Honestly this was a massive let down as we’d spent six weeks there when the hotel was seriously under occupied...there wasn’t even a thank you, I just handed my card over and settled the bill. Someone else commented about being a single woman with children here. I had the same feeling, I’ve been here twice before with my husband and our children but this time travelled without him due to covid restrictions. I was definitely treated differently.

Myself and my partner arrived at the hotel with a hire car, greeted by staff who took the bags upto room 404 and then also parked our car into the basement carpark. Excellent service throughout the stay baring in mind Covid restrictions - the hotel was spotless, rooms immaculate and spacious. So much to do for all ages and we cannot wait to return with our children! Hotel is in a prime location, beautiful beaches, lovely restaurants around the hotel (prime400 was amazing!) although not all amenties around the hotel were open we still had an amazing time!! 10/10 thank you.

Sadly, The hotel is closing today due to the low occupancy. I have been here for 6 nights and just love the place. Very few people here, but the high standards were maintained. The hotel is spotlessly clean and there is sanitiser gels everywhere. Felt more safer here than anywhere else I have visited in the UK. The quality and content of the food is excellent. The rooms are are spacious and fully equipped. The drink prices are very reasonable for a 5star hotel. I was allocated room 608 on arrival which overlooks the pools, but gets very little sun all day. Moved to 330 which gets the sun most of the morning and early afternoon. Probably the best location around for walks, beach, shops, bars and restaurants. This hotel has everything that you could possibly need, from tennis courts, squash courts, family pools, adult only pools/areas, fantastic Spa, gym etc, etc. I will definitely return when things get back to normal. The front of house staff did a fantastic job and I was looked after very well. Did not see a manager once in the 6 days I was here, that said I didn’t need to see one!

This is my 2nd visit in 12 months and it will be my last. I had a genuine medical exemption from wearing a mask, I phoned jet 2 in advance and got told it was ok but I would need a doctors letter and a lanyard to wear the whole time. I have both of these and provided all info to the hotel. Regardless of this, some of the restaurant staff treated me with absolute disgust, they openly stood talking and whispering about me and then Julie came and told me I wasn’t to look at the buffet or go near it, she also sneered that I was the one and only person in the whole of Spain with this issue. She was by far the worst of everyone. I felt awful being there, had I known it would be like this I would not have gone, I’ve got the say the Uk are far more understanding. Jose in the restaurant was lovely. He was the only one. Positives are that it’s spotlessly clean, the cleaning staff are amazing. The rooms are great. Easy to get to lovely beach and shops. Pools are clean and warmish. Spa is lovely and offers children’s massages for 25€, my daughter loved it. Negatives: The above mentioned. The entertainment is very poor. The reason I came back was partly the food, it’s massively changed, no array of tropical fruits and juices being made at breakfast. Very limited now. Same every day. None of the uk channels on the tv worked, not that I was too fussed, I don’t turn it on much on holiday. You seem to get Judged for being a single parent (my husband stayed home to work) I just felt I was treated poorly. A great shame really, I always thought I’d go repeatedly. Never again.

We arrived mid afternoon and had our cases bought to room 325 for us, we were very impressed with the room set up. Everthing was fantastic,Our room had the afternoon sun so was nice to get our masks off and chill out in the sun on our very large balcony. The waterpark and splash park were briliant, my daughter and I enjoyed the slides many times over ! The head lifeguard really did a great job observing everyone and everything. The wave pool (10 euros)was also fantastic, Keep up the good work Jose and lifeguards ! There are free pool towels on every level and at every pool. My daughter enjoyed kids club pumpkin carving, and also the following day she had a great time playing games and doing craft, huge thank you to the kids club staff ! The floating mat that was put on pool level 2 was real fun for the kids too. The mini disco and kids section on floor -1 was just brilliant, their own section, disco, race track, formula one car simulators (20 euros), playstation/xbox's and tonnes of games to choose. The rooftop bar was amazing, views stunning and the see through pool fab ! Cocktails were yum yum. We stayed full board and the food was of such a high standard, the food was plentiful, even for me as a fussy vegetarian. Probably had more choice here than anywhere i've stayed, even probiotics for breakfast ! staff in the buffet are very helpful and lovely. We have already rebooked to come back this time with my husband and daughter. Kate, Lesley & Jessica.! Hasta Pronto.XXX
