Stayed here to attend a wedding at nearby Iscoyd Park. Plusses: lovely house and setting, good breakfast, comfy beds and 2 great dogs! Downsides: no shower (lovely big bath but felt I could not fill this because of the time it would take and also the amount of water needed!)

Maybe I am influenced by the beautiful sunny weather but I enjoyed my stay at the Hough. It is a Victorian property that was built on the site of a farmhouse. There have been only 3 owners since then but the history of the previous building must be fascinating. There is evidence

Thank you for your review. The Hough had a very well known pedigree herd of cows that were wiped out in the Foot and Mouth of 1967. The house was redecorated at that time using the compensation money given by the Government for the loss of the herd. The herd was not replaced and the farm converted to keeping pigs, beef cattle and arable

Myself and 2 friends stayed here for one night after a gin tasting session at Cholmondley Arms. Emma was the perfect host who so accommodating and helpful. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and we had everything we needed. I’d highly recommend The Hough to anyone

I just stayed one night at The Hough before an event I was attending at Cholmondley castle today. The room was superb, a home away from home. You always want a comfortable stay the night before a race and this was perfect. I had a huge double bed to myself which was the comfiest

Thank you for such a lovely review. It was such a shame that your partner was unable to stay as well but at least you had the super king bed to yourself! Well done winning your race and I look forward to you coming back to stay in the future.

Where do I start! The best way of describing this B&B is that its 'delightful' in every way. The rooms, proprietors and the grounds are superb. I must also note that everything is spotlessly clean. However, like many, for a business man like myself, its not my cup of tea as they

Thank you for taking the time to right such a complimentary review even though we are not your cup of tea! We do have many business men and women to stay and have often been described as a home from home - so I hope your views will not put off other business persons. Saying that it was really lovely to meet you and to chat over breakfast and discover that we both have a love of wildlife and that wrens are your favorite bird as they are mine. The wrens nest within sight of the kitchen table where you were having breakfast has been an added bonus this year as have the herons on our lake which you spotted from your bedroom window.
