From the moment got out the car and stepped onto the farm we felt relaxed. Sally was there to greet us at Drovers Cottage with a delicious chocolate cake. Both Sally and David were friendly and accommodating. It was great to get an insight to farm life learning about the sheep, Cockerells and even watching the horses getting their new... More

We stayed for a long weekend from 3rd-6th June 2016. From the moment we arrived until the minute we left it was AMAZING. Sally left us a yummy chocolate cake and tea set up. Two couples and one child stayed in Drovers barn very comfortably. Everything you could want is in the kitchen - cleaning stuff a major bonus as... More

Although stayed last year, the place was beautiful and quite. Chickens running about, table and chairs outside to enjoy. Owners happy to let you wander around the farm and see the animals. Very pleasent stay. Only down side was not enough hot water. Cottage was lovely and clean however

Thank you for your lovely review of your stay in the Carters Lodge last year. I am sorry you did not have enough hot water, this was an ongoing issue as this was controlled in the cottage next door but I am pleased to say we put a switch in this cottage last summer and plenty of hot water now.... I would like to thank Sally & Dave, for the excellent stay that myself, husband & horse, yes horse who came away for a much needed rest. The farmhouse wing was spacious, very comfortable and meticulously clean in every way. My horse was also able to come with us, as stables were available, therefore I could explore this lovely countryside... More

We stayed in Drover's Barn at Millmoor Farm for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer - we will definitely be booking again. The cottage itself is beautiful, very comfortable and incredibly clean and the underfloor heating keeps the cottage cosy. There are fantastic views from the lounge across the fields with a decked area off the lounge... More

The owners are very friendly and will take you on tours of the farm in the mornings. Children can go and collect the eggs from the hens. The accommodation itself was fine except the cleanliness and urine smelling carpet. I have attached photos as evidence . The other thing to comment on was the cake . What initially appeared as...
