We booked the hotel last minute and it turned out to be great. Clean room and big balcony overlooking the river and view. And it's quite quiet so we love it. Still, the breakfast is quite pricey compared to what we got (I'm a serious breakfast person). Better to find local breakfast outside. It's not far from the old market by car.

I stayed here for one night last week. The hotel looked modern with good view to the river. The swimming pool was clean and had a adequate size. The room was clean and suitable for the price( very reasonable). I recommend this hotel for everyone who wish to make a short stay in the town.

We had a business trip in Chanthaburi and stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is way greater than our expectation. Rooms are spacious, clean and new with river view. There is a balcony where we can sit and chill and enjoy the peaceful moment here. Staff were helpful and great! The only small minus thing was that they dont provide toothbrush in the room but you can get it from the reception. However, they dont sell toothpaste. Nevertheless, Chanthaburi is a great venue to escape from hectic life in Bangkok. And our stay here just makes our experience much more enjoyable.

We stayed in Riverawan for two nights as a stop off between Bangkok and Ko Chang. The hotel was clean, the rooms were a decent size and you catch WiFi just about anywhere within the hotel grounds. We had a beautiful view from the room, overlooking the river. The pool was a good size and there were plenty of loungers if you wanted to soak up the rays. The staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be. Spoke little English but knew enough to help us with what we needed. We didn’t expect anymore, we were in a lovely little authentic Thai town. Not the busy streets of Bangkok. It was about a 20 minute walk into the centre but the hotel will call a taxi for you if you ask. Get a card from the driver and they’ll pick you up too, I’m pretty sure it was about 200 baht each way (£10) for the four of us. We ate out in a little Thai bar one evening which was beaut! The second evening we ate in the hotel and the food was equally as good, I’d definitely recommend it.

This hotel, while located in central Chantaburi, is surprisingly charming and cosy to stay in Chantaburi. The hotel has a superb riverside curb view with serene river waters. Room is spacious, clean, and modern with good BF at a reasonable price. Dont miss the local river cruise to witness yourself the charming local riverside life from here.

If you need to "get out of the city"; this is a very appropriate place. Quiet and very relaxing. But you really need to come with your own car as there is no nearby places to eat that are walking distance (nearest is a very nice old Thai style restaurant that is about 800 m walk). But the staff were really very kind and helpful (super excellent) as they were the the ones who drove us nightly near the Cathedral, which during the time of our stay, was having a food fair in celebration of Christmas. We suggested to the hotel that they should at least have an in-house tuktuk; like the hotels in Chiang Mai and other tourist-popular provinces. Chantaburi does not have much foreign tourist groups, ONE reason why we LIKE it!

Everything here is beautiful : the rooms, the pool, the overall setting and of course the gorgeous view on the river, with the mountains in the background. A view that can be enjoyed from the balcony that every room has. Rooms are nicely designed, and very confortable, especially the bed. Location is very quiet, some 1,2 km away from the city center, wich is easily reachable by walk or bike (they can lend some at the hotel) ; otherwise staff can call a taxi-songthaew for you. For the food, there is no real restaurant onsite (they serve only breakfast) but the closest main street (1mn by bike) counts many food stalls, among which an excellent somtam shop. All in all, my 60-years-old parents and I, without any car or motorbike, had an excellent stay there. Of course it's even more convenient if you have your own transport, especially to visit the whole area (waterfalls, beaches, mangrove paths definitely worth it) but since we hadn't, the hotel arranged a one-day taxi trip for us so that we could explore everything, and it was great. Staff is really service-minded, nice and helpfull.

Nice location, buildings and layout quite good too. Large room, well furnished, comfortable bed, sofa etc; and staff mostly friendly and efficient. On the down-side while there no wi-fi available in the room; TV had very limited THAI only channels, Could find only one power outlet in the room ( a double outlet) which is a pain when 2 phones need charging and other devices need to be used at the same time. Our main problem was the very loud noise from boats travelling up and down the river in front, about 1 every hour; that went on until 10-30pm.

Very nicely designed and located hotel but it seems that the attention to detail in design and finishing is missing. The mosaic tiles in the pools are already lifting and there are number of sharp edges in the bathroom by the sink. Also the are by the pool could be improved and more power points in the room.
