Stayed her for a night whilst away on business in Feb and wasn't disappointed. Good location if you plan to be in Doncaster or Sheffield, good service, nice rooms and comfy beds, smart tv, room service & nice shower. Was very pleased with the hotel and will stay again.

We booked this hotel on line, so check in was easy. Room was a good size, and clean Nice comfy bed All good for the two nights we stayed there - my only tiny, tiny complaint, was the shaving mirror was loose, and kept twisting round - but there was another mirror...

Pleasant roomy hotel with friendly staff, good breakfast choice and comfortable bar and restaurant. It took about 25 minutes in rush hour to get back into the centre of Doncaster for business. Ample free parking. Good value

Looking at some of the reviews on here, I think some are very unfair. The rooms are large, with a good bathroom, tea and coffee facilities, WIFI, a smart TV, and comfy clean beds. The rooms are cleaned to an excellent standard everyday with anything used refreshed. The hotel, breakfast, meals and drinks are extremely well priced too. You can...

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting family nearby. Upon arrival was informed the restaurant and bar were closed for the week except for breakfast. Breakfast was a lack lustre affair. Crumpets were considered a 'special' which you had to ask for rather than being put out. You can request porridge, which was actually good. The bacon and sausages looked...

We stayed one night here as we attended a function across at the pub. After reading some of the reviews, we didn't have high hopes. They were right about the rooms being dated, ours was and also very dark with dingy orange bedside lights! However, the room was a good size and clean. The bathroom was nice and bright with...

Not good value for money, service was poor, when we spoke to the manager about how disappointed we were he informed us that the sandwiches had been freshly made that morning, unfortunately we did not have ours until 3.15, so far from fresh.

We had a double room on the ground floor which smelled musty and the tap water had an unpleasant sulphur odour, the room was cold and we struggled with the heating controls to get it warm. The electric towel rail had an obscure switch location at floor level in the hallway which we didn't discover until the next morning. On...
