An overall good 4**** hotel with good quality rooms, very clean and spacious for a couple. Sourondings are quit day and night, good for calm vacations. Staff is excellent, very friendly and glad to help you. Meals are good, excellent deserts and with big variety.
We arrived late , about 2300hrs and after check in we were taken to the restaurant were that had laid on tables of salad cheese and cold meats with sliced breads , as we had obviously missed dinner . This was a very nice touch . Even though the all inclusive finishes at 11pm they were happy to give us a few beers . We got to the room which we had upgraded to a junior sweet . Very modern and comfy with views of pool . Excellent air conditioning. There is a fridge and tea n coffee making facilities. There is a safe in room which is charged. Only thing I didn’t like was the open bathroom, as if you put the light on at night it lights up the whole room waking your partner. No English TV stations at all. The food in restaurant was plentiful , a chef cooking eggs in morning then meats and fish at lunch and dinner . Lots of salads cheeses meats etc . Waiting staff attentive and bring drinks to you . The entire hotel is spotless, I’ve travelled the world and I’ve never come across such consistent cleanliness . We were able to keep a room till our flight for €30 , which was great as check out is 11am and we didn’t have to leave till 9pm. They gave us a standard room to use , which again was superb, just not quite as modern but it had a pull down bed alongside the main bed, big walk in shower. It seems the standard double are toad facing at front of hotel , and upgraded suites and at the rear pool view. This is a predominately German hotel / resort, 90% I’d say ... with a few Spanish and french. We were the only English staying , which seems the norm so I’d bare this in mind if you like chatting your week away to different holiday makers. It really is a great hotel, and definitely return for a 3 or 4 night break . …
The staff is nice, the food ok, the hotel is close to the beach in a quite area, but in the bathroom of the room 406 it smelled horrible the whole period of 5 nights. You couldn't keep the bathroom door open because then it would smell in the room too. I think they have problems with sewerage. I have never experienced something like this in a hotel. Also, the first 2 days the drain from the shower didn't work. The room isolation is poor, you can hear absolutely everything the neighbours are talking about. The wi-fi isn't that good.
We had a great stay at the hotel. We stayed in the 6th floor suite, which was excellent, very modern, spacious and the rooftop was great. Staff is very friendly. They even left a small table for us to eat something on day of arival at 10:30, great service! Good variety of food in the morning and in the evenings. First hotel ever abroad that had "hagelslag" at breakfast.
I have one word for this hotel - AMAZING! We got a free upgrade to a 6th floor suite with a balcony and hot tub - JUST SUPERB! This made our holiday so amazing and the room was just gorgeous, I would stay there again. The hotel manager was so polite and courteous and put an extra single bed in our room as we didn't want the sofa bed. The hotel manager is one of the best I have met in Spain, no job is too big, thank you so much. Also the other staff on reception, bar and reception are very polite and say hello every time, the food is also nice you can find something to eat. The female chef who cooks the omelettes is amazing she makes them so tasty! Thanks again Luxor would return again!
