The philosophy of Hotel Luxor is based on pampering our guests. Each year we constantly seek improvements and the satisfaction of our customers is of uttermost importance. The family has opted for the Hotel Luxor since the 1970s. Proof is that the year 1985 we also opened the Aparthotel Luxor. New this year 2016 we offer a renewed, more modern and comfortable Hotel Luxor. We have also introduced a new dining room with new show cooking to offer the best quality and variety food for our guests.

Junior suite with private bathtub: dirty and never clean bathtub, dirty and graying “Bali” bed. It's just not worth it. Behind the sofa there was cucaracha, which I was blamed for keeping the window open (bah) and as a solution to the problem I was offered a pack of DDT. Dinner: cheap food, large quantities but poor quality. Dinner table not even prepared, you had to take the cutlery and bring them to the table Breakfast: abundant quantity, good thing of the hotel

This hotel is a credit to customer service. The hotel has all the procedures in place to keep you safe during your stay. Face coverings must be worn in all public areas including the lifts, hand sanitizers everywhere. In the restaurant, you had to keep your mask on when choosing you food from the buffet, Only could be served by the waiters, no touching of any serving spoons, etc. Tables spaced apart. Pool had a screen to order drinks, face covering to be worn. The food choice was excellent, and of excellent quality. The rooms were spacious and very clean. maid service excellent. The hotel attention to detail is second to none despite very trying circumstances. Some services were not available, such as the poolside kitchen/grill but not an issue really. The hotel is mainly for German and French guests but im sure they went out of the way to ensure a great stay for us, which they did. I would be more than happy to return next year to see the full potential of this Hotel. One last note, Playa de Palma, have a greater Covid policy than the UK. Face coverings in all shops, walking to and from the Beach and restaurants. Makes a joke of having to self isolate when you get back.

We arrived late , about 2300hrs and after check in we were taken to the restaurant were that had laid on tables of salad cheese and cold meats with sliced breads , as we had obviously missed dinner . This was a very nice touch . Even though the all inclusive finishes at 11pm they were happy to give us a few beers . We got to the room which we had upgraded to a junior sweet . Very modern and comfy with views of pool . Excellent air conditioning. There is a fridge and tea n coffee making facilities. There is a safe in room which is charged. Only thing I didn’t like was the open bathroom, as if you put the light on at night it lights up the whole room waking your partner. No English TV stations at all. The food in restaurant was plentiful , a chef cooking eggs in morning then meats and fish at lunch and dinner . Lots of salads cheeses meats etc . Waiting staff attentive and bring drinks to you . The entire hotel is spotless, I’ve travelled the world and I’ve never come across such consistent cleanliness . We were able to keep a room till our flight for €30 , which was great as check out is 11am and we didn’t have to leave till 9pm. They gave us a standard room to use , which again was superb, just not quite as modern but it had a pull down bed alongside the main bed, big walk in shower. It seems the standard double are toad facing at front of hotel , and upgraded suites and at the rear pool view. This is a predominately German hotel / resort, 90% I’d say ... with a few Spanish and french. We were the only English staying , which seems the norm so I’d bare this in mind if you like chatting your week away to different holiday makers. It really is a great hotel, and definitely return for a 3 or 4 night break .
