I was in room 105 facing the street .All around are beautiful trees and plants. The room is nicely decorated and big..Very quiet and comfortable. The restaurant is very large with great selection of food. You serve yourself and eat as much as you want. The staff were very pleasant and didnt rush you away. They offer drinks but you have to pay for them ,this is only in the evening..I just said no and it wasnt a problem. You can sit where you choose. The guests were mostly German but quiet and well behaved. The pool area is extensive and beautiful.3 mins walk to the beach and bus stops.A good supermarket 7 mins walk through a quiet park. You can walk along the promenade to Can Pastilla which has british and spanish visitors.
Travelled around April/May, got a double room with small balcony for around 55 euro that included a buffet breakfast and dinner, really good selection, although if you want juice get down early. The hotel is located in the German district, but the staff have good English. Mainly elderly customers and the odd family with little kids. Quiet hotel, only 5 minutes walk from a lovely beach, packed with restaurants/bars/shops. Staff overall were lovely, although there was a minor incident with their card machine not working - so have cash on you just in case. Hotel is located about 20 minutes bus ride to Palma (which is stunning) and 25 mins to the airport (A2 bus) - bus stops are located about 5 minutes walk away.
The room was lovely, clean and open. Staff is very friendly and always smiling but english is poor, they speak german. Hotel guests are 90% germans. Breakfast and dinner is ok, not woow but ok. The thing that made or family every night laught was the waiter that spoke poor english and poor german but he wanted to talk to us and take or order... In the end we didnt know what we orderd beacuse we tried in english, german and with hands 😂
The hotel was lovely, however the staff spoke hardly any English which made it difficult to communicate and one man on reception was super abrupt!! The place caters totally for Germans and only has german beer, no cider!! Pina Colada had tinned fruit cocktail in it which seemed a bit weird! The balconies are very open and close to each other and we got a room which looked onto a roof!! All the entertainment was in German and was poor!! The hotel itself was clean and tidy and the food was what was to be expected! All the pubs around were also catering for the Germans!! Had a lovely time as the beaches etc are gorgeous, but only had a short break and wouldn't rush to go back!
I arrived early hours in morning as my flight was delayed. I was travelling alone as I went to visit a friend. I was late checking in but they waited for me. When I arrived at 1:15am I was offered a drink and something to eat, even tho the kitchen closed several hours before. The room was cute and clean. the balcony was small but I didn't get chance to sit out anyway so didn't matter. The breakfast choice was great and had seemed to cater for all. The evening meal the same, however there was no drink provided for in the evening you had to pay for drinks with your evening meal. They provided entrainment in the evenings which was ok. The bus stop was 5 min walk away and came every 15 minutes. I would avoid getting taxi as they can rip you off. I met my friend and missed the last bus so I went in taxi and usually costs 6 euro for the journey and I was charged 19 euros when I questioned the taxi driver said it is because of night time, which was rubbish. the taxi door was locked and I was forced to pay 19 euros for a 15 min journey. the bus costs 1.50 euro. I was very disappointed and clearly was taken advantage off for being a tourist. The hotel is close to the beach and the pool was very nice and they did pool service. I checked out early hours in the morning and was offered breakfast, it was cold breakfast meats and cheese but was really nice to have it on offer and be ready for guests checking out very early. I would go back to this hotel.…
It was a really nice hotel with good location and friendly staff. Clean rooms and a nice pool area. Could have been a bit more environmental friendly since they used a lot of disposables. But overall a very nice hotel!
I was surprised of this hotel. We were expecting a budget hut for the money we paid, but instead, we found a really comfortable hotel with plenty of services and a very welcoming staff ready to make your stay even more confy. Rooms were medium sized but confortable, with nice views and well equipped bathroom. The restaurant was huge, to let all the guests to have dinner at the same time without problems. There were many cookers cooking a really varied fresh food to meet al tastes. We were geven given a special breakfast for those checking out too early for the restaurant to be opened at morning. Not to say the location of the hotel is 1 minute away by walk from the beaches. Highly recommended.
Simple hotel with all what you need for biking holiday. Good breakfast and dinner. Single root is small - but quality of bed is fine. Safe garage for bikes. Dinner after our late arrival was a big plus - thanks. Wifi is available free of charge only in reception. Safe box is not free.
I stayed in Hotel Oleander for a week in August 2018. The foond and the facilities are ok (not excellent, but ok). The problem was with the "hotel policy". For example, if you want to have a cofee on your balcony or on the hotel's deck (outside) between 8:00 - 9:00 it will be impossible: you can't take your coffee (included in the half-board service) outside the dining room and the hotel's bar only opens after 9:00. When asked about this, the staff could only say: "Sorry, this is our policy". And... that's it :-(
The hotel was pretty clean except the dining room floor had a lot of dust and dirt on it. The room was large and clean and the location was great. The staff need some serious training in hospitality and customer service...we checked in and the gentleman at reception never said hi or welcome. He then told us abruptly that he will be sending our information to police out of no where. The hotel did not let us bring coffee up to the room and we were told we couldn’t go into the dining room early even though we had asked them the night before because of our excursion. The breakfast is very mediocre and the kitchen staff are also very unwelcoming. I understand that this is a 3 star hotel but being friendly goes a long way and does not cost anything. I will not being coming back here and will tell fam and friends to avoid this hotel. …
