We were very disappointed by our stay in this hotel, which for us is not offering 5* services. We had several small issues: our shower was flooding the whole bathroom every time we took a shower. We mentioned it to the reception (the lady wasn’t very nice- she didn’t seem to care/ didn’t apologize NOTHING) and nothing happened, we had this issue for the whole stay. It was dangerous. Once we came back to the room from breakfast and the housekeeper just started to clean our room. We had to wait outside. When we went to the swimming pool, no more towels available we had to go and collect them from the reception. Wifi wasn’t working properly all the time. Breakfast very disappointing and having to book a time to go was not very convenient when we are on holidays (but this would be because of COVID procedures so we can understand). The spa is nice. Staff from breakfast were really nice and friendly. View from the rooftop is amazing. We would not recommend this hotel that is not a good value for money to us.…
Good staff, lovely room and view - see pic. Location nice and the pool area was great in that you can always find a chair. Getting to grips with COVID but they’re getting there which is good. Front desk very responsive to everything
We picked Garonda for our “babymoon” - the last holiday for two before the baby arrives. I was 6 months pregnant then. Couldn’t have made a better decision! It was the perfect holiday from all perspectives! The room was excellent with the sea views and the whirlpool bath: we spent most of the days chilling on the balcony/terrace which had its own deckchairs. Cleaning was very good, the bed was huge and comfortable. We requested extra pillows to prop my growing belly which were brought in right away. We upgraded to half board upon check in, which was the best decision considering how fussy I was about the food in general. The evening meals looked exquisite and tasted great! Michelin-star look! The hotel also had live music several times when we dined. On that beach, we struggled to find anywhere else to eat which would beat the food at Garonda’s main restaurant. The pools on the top and ground floor are not heated so were quite cold to my liking but the sea in September was lovely! Staff were all great and my sincerest thanks goes to Vanessa, the guest manager, for going out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. People like Vanessa belong in hospitality industry - she was just wonderful!! I gave her a hug when we arrived although we just met !:) The restaurant staff was brilliant too and I wish I remembered names now, because they are lovely, so helpful and such hard workers! The hotel is located in the German area on Palma so lots of German food and music around. There are buskers singing on the beach in the evening and there is a little market with souvenirs etc. Note for the staff : our baby Rosie was born at the start of January. Thank you so much for making our first holiday of 3 (with Rosie in my belly) such a wonderful holiday !…
Well appointed and spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Decent sized balcony for chilling on an evening. Relaxing bar area with value for money prices. Wide range of choice at breakfast with both hot and cold food. Good safe storage area for bikes. Spa area was just what we needed after a long bike ride. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Higly recomended and already looking at a return visit
Just back from a weeks stay,Being disabled I made a few requests before arriving. Every one was in place on arrival, the hotel is the cleanest and quietest we have ever stayed in,our luggage was put in a luggage room until our room was ready ,we were offered a complimentary drink of our choice. When our room ready ,Monica took us up.our luggage had already been put in the room! during our stay both Monica and Vanessa were available to offer help, the restaurant staff both at breakfast and dinner couldn't be more helpful. I was slightly unwell one night and didn't want dinner, Monica insisted that food be served in the room as we were half board and my wife still had to be fed. all in all an amazing experience.
