The hotel is perfectly well situated. It has all the amenities someone in holidays would need. The atmosphere was nice and calm. The rooms are spacious and well equipped . Our only issue was the elevator. During our trip one of the elevator broke down and we had to walk several times to our dormitory in the 8th floor. There were two other elevators working but you can imagine the waiting time when the hotel it’s in full capacity . Overall good - price quality .
I stayed at the hotel for a few days with breakfast only. Breakfast was nothing special but good. Very kind staff, amazing location, nice pool and roof top bar. I was there on my birthday and they arranged roomservice ordered from my friends back home and from the hotel itself. Those small things can make a difference. Beside a not so clean shower and hard bed I would still recommend this hotel for a few days!
The hotel is in a perfect location and has amazing view over the beach. The rooftop bar is the highlight which provide panoramic view and is a great place to relax and catch the sunset. We booked through the hotel website and enjoyed the extra benefit of bicycle rental, late check-out, welcome drinks and bottle of cava. There is also free secured parking which is rare among hotels on palma beach. We would highly recommend HM Gran Fiesta!
We chose the Gran Fiesta because of the sky area with infinity pool and sky bar. It was really worth seeing and the views from the 10th floor in both directions were amazing. We had a Bali sunbed one day, it cost 30 Euros but that was OK considering that we paid 18 Euros for less comfortable sunbeds with umbrella on the beach. The position of the hotel is perfectly situated on the beach. Now for the negative points. The rooms are very small and although I requested a room on a high floor facing the pool, I got a room on the 4th floor overlooking the neighbouring hotel and the main road which I didn't like. On two occasions I tried to call the reception but no one answered the phone. The battery for my safe was empty so I couldn't open it, and I had a power cut when I plugged in the hair dryer. Each time I had to go down to the reception myself and explain what was wrong. This is somethiing that I have never experienced in a 4* Hotel. The service was not good and the staff in the restaurant were not very attentive. It always took a long time to remove the used plates. I myself, have worked in international hotels so I know what good service means. I also think the hotel should make sure that people don't reserve sunbeds before breakfast. On 2 mornings we went to the pool before 9am and were unable to find sunbeds because they were all reserved with towels but not with guests. Maybe it would be a good idea not to allow the reservation of sunbeds before 10am to give everyone a chance to spend a day at the pool. I did observe one couple who reserved sunbeds at the pool, then went to the beach and had sunbeds on the beach until someone came to collect the money. They didn't pay on the beach, they came back to the hotel pool and used the sunbeds which had been reserved for at least 3 hours but not used. These are not the type of guests that a 4*Hotel should have. I enjoyed our holiday, I liked the hotel but I'm sorry, I don't think I would return for the reasons mentioned.…
We stayed for 8 nights and in the end, we did not want to leave. All parts of the hotel were spotless clean especially our room. The food was good and almost all the time different. What we like the best is the location. The hotel is across the street from the beach which makes it so quick and easy to go. At the same time, if you are not a fan of the beach or want to mix sea/pool, there are two awesome pool areas. The hotel is located on the main street and it is within 5 min walk to multiple bars/restaurants and local shops. We also took the bus to the main city. It took us like 20 min and it was cheap. You can book a PCR test at the hotel or ask to rent a car - they are working with a reliable company. Overall, it was a great experience!
