HM Gran Fiesta stands out for its exceptional value, offering affordable dining options, although some guests point out additional fees for beach chairs and towels. The hotel's cleanliness and service are often lauded, with a dedicated staff that enhances the guest experience. While rooms are celebrated for their sea views and tidiness, their size and occasional maintenance issues are mentioned.
The rooftop pool is a highlight, despite desires for extended hours and improved coziness. The atmosphere is somewhat mixed, with the rooftop bar being a favorite spot, and the hotel's location near the beach and attractions is consistently praised.

We have just got back from a 5 night stay here. The communal areas have lovely modern decor and is very clean. Rooms are small but clean and modern, we stayed on the 8th floor and had the best view of the sea we have ever had after just paying for a standard room! Breakfast buffet has a very good selection of options, however it didn’t have much flavour but did the job as it was included in our room rate. Pool areas are good, however they were busy and people had put there towels on their beds very early - we saw a few people move towels and put their own down only for the other people to come back a bit awkward! The bar staff are not too friendly and seem quite stressed we witnessed them arguing a few times. The location is great right on the beach front with restaurants and shops within walking distance and the airport is a 10 minute taxi drive away.

We chose the Gran Fiesta because of the sky area with infinity pool and sky bar. It was really worth seeing and the views from the 10th floor in both directions were amazing. We had a Bali sunbed one day, it cost 30 Euros but that was OK considering that we paid 18 Euros for less comfortable sunbeds with umbrella on the beach. The position of the hotel is perfectly situated on the beach. Now for the negative points. The rooms are very small and although I requested a room on a high floor facing the pool, I got a room on the 4th floor overlooking the neighbouring hotel and the main road which I didn't like. On two occasions I tried to call the reception but no one answered the phone. The battery for my safe was empty so I couldn't open it, and I had a power cut when I plugged in the hair dryer. Each time I had to go down to the reception myself and explain what was wrong. This is somethiing that I have never experienced in a 4* Hotel. The service was not good and the staff in the restaurant were not very attentive. It always took a long time to remove the used plates. I myself, have worked in international hotels so I know what good service means. I also think the hotel should make sure that people don't reserve sunbeds before breakfast. On 2 mornings we went to the pool before 9am and were unable to find sunbeds because they were all reserved with towels but not with guests. Maybe it would be a good idea not to allow the reservation of sunbeds before 10am to give everyone a chance to spend a day at the pool. I did observe one couple who reserved sunbeds at the pool, then went to the beach and had sunbeds on the beach until someone came to collect the money. They didn't pay on the beach, they came back to the hotel pool and used the sunbeds which had been reserved for at least 3 hours but not used. These are not the type of guests that a 4*Hotel should have. I enjoyed our holiday, I liked the hotel but I'm sorry, I don't think I would return for the reasons mentioned.

The hotel matched my expectations, it was exactly as shown in the images on website/Booking/TripAdvisor.
Since the island is quite small, I would recommend renting a car for sightseeing since you can reach each side of the island in less than an hour. Plus side is you can make as much stops as you want and enjoy the magnificent scenery of Mallorca. Car rentals are as cheep as 90€day and gas prices are 1.7€l which is quite affordable. So instead of paying bus fares for each visit to the city centre, or going for a stroll nearby, you can use the rental as a cheaper option overall. Parking is quite easy, you can find them almost everywhere, are quite visible, and if you spot parking places marked in white, you can park for free everywhere on the island. Blue parking placed are coming with an extra fee, whereas yellow places are bot for parking and bus exclusively.
The location of the hotel was great, 10-15 minutes away from the Airport, bus stops in front of the next hotel just 2 minutes away. The bus line to the city centre also is in a 2 minute walk, quite frequent (every 5 minutes) and costs 2€. The hotel is located in the middle of Playa de Palma which is close to bars and little shops.
The premises were always clean, staff was more than pleasant, always in a good mood and assisting in whatever need you might have.
Rooms were spacious, well decorated, with comfortable beds and pillows. Towels were changed and room was cleaned every day. Each room is equipped with basic toiletries (shampoo and shower gel), but you can ask at reception for additional inquiries.
The food was delicious and amazing, both breakfast and dinner buffet were with wide selection of food for distinct tastes, even for vegetarians. For dinners we had a themed cuisine each night.
The lobby, beach and sky bars have a selection of drinks for refreshment, with edible straws which adds to the hotel's sustainability policy.
The beach was very clean and spacious, the sea was perfect, and because the beaches are public you had to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas each day, which costs 18€ for a pair of sunbeds and an umbrella. Only downside is they 'close' at 18:30 so the umbrellas are locked and you can't really enjoy longer at the beach, but I didn't mind sitting on my towel until sunset.
All in all, a great experience and most wholehearted recommendation for the hotel.

We had booked into the HM Tropical but it wasn’t open so we got moved to Gran Fiesta on a half board basis, the food is very good and plenty of choice.
We had a room on the ninth floor which was good but when the wind blew from the sea it caused the fumes from the toilet pipes to permeate the room and shower cubicle and it was very bad. The indoor pool wasn’t very nice it was grubby with sand in the water and jacuzzi and a very strong smell of chlorine. The lifts are always busy and far too small. The view from the rooftop pool is great. It is predominantly German clients. The car park is quite small and I would imagine it could be very difficult to park anywhere near there in the summer. The staff are very friendly and helpful but on checkout there could be more on duty.

We inform you that we are aware of the smell you mention and we want to let you know we are working on it. As you said, it only happens when the wind is strong. We stayed for a couple of nights on an all inclusive basis. After waiting a long while to check in (only one member of staff) we had a lovely side sea room on the 8th floor. The photo shows the view directly from the balcony of room 817.
The room is basic although we had a premium room and this also included a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, a few drinks in the minibar and also a couple of robes. The hotel were very accommodating with extra pillows and blankets; you are provided with bare minimum of towels which I found particularly frustrating because two towels is not enough for two people. As any females reading this post will appreciate, you need two towels when washing your hair!
The hotel is very comfortable, the all inclusive was ok but you can only opt for certain drinks. On one occasion I went for a cocktail but it was quite obviously the pre-prepared type. The barman went to into a room adjoining the bar, and came back in two seconds with an rather putrid take on a tequila sunrise! The breakfast was as expected and the dinner had a fine selection.
The sky bar was not open, which was a shame, the weather may not have been ideal but people were still using the area.
If I was to find fault it would be the wait to get a lift. There are three in total, two are very small and they are all in demand.

Stayed for 4 nights with a friend.
Hotel was clean and well furnished / decorated.
Pool areas were also clean and well maintained. Pool was freezing cold but didn’t bother us too much.
Views from the rooftop pool are amazing!
On the rooftop area you can use normal sun loungers for free or pay to book the Bali beds. We paid for one day use and they were comfortable, however block a lot of sun if you wanted to sunbathe.
Hire of pool towels is available from reception.
Rooms were clean. Some parts of the bathroom look a little tired and the hinge on the door to the fridge was broken. Mini fridge wasn’t working on arrival but this was quickly sorted by maintainence after reporting to reception. We booked a terrace balcony room on the first floor. The room itself is quite small but functional. Beth room is a reasonable size. The terrace itself is beautiful and has gorgeous views of the sea. Has its own sunloungers if you didn’t want to go to the pools.
One negative was that there were no plugs near the mirror to get ready with.
We only ate in the restaurant for breakfast. Despite spacing out for Covid regulations there were lots of tables and the breakfast selection was fantastic! We paid €10 each for breakfast. Selection of both cooked and continental options.
Staff were reasonably friendly and helped with all queries we had. We had a lot of trouble getting taxis anywhere from the hotel, seemed to take a long time to arrive. There is a bus stop outside if you wanted to use public transport.
One thing we didn’t like was that the room cleaning service wasn’t the best. Glasses and cups from the bar weren’t taken away, on one occasion towels and toilet roll weren’t replaced and bedding wasn’t changed during our stay.
Surrounding area was nice and along the beachfront is a good selection of restaurants and bars.
About a 10-15 minute drive from the airport and about a 20 minute drive to Palma main centre.

Recently spent a few nights here and think it was an overall positive experience. The hotel is right on the beach and is surround by many shopping and dinning options. The hotel has some really great areas to take pictures and the pools seem to be very well cleaned. The food options are limited in the hotel but the breakfast was a good deal and saved so much time instead of having to walk around and find coffee and a quick bite. the rooms were small but well appointed with everything you will need for a decent night rest. There are a ton of kids around the hotel and it would be nice if the top pool and outdoor was adults only. Something to note, is that the elevators are TINY and they take forever so if you find yourself on a high floor, keep in mind that you will be taking they stairs a majority of the time. The taxis are not able to pick up or drop off right next to the door so you will have to take your luggage up stairs when checkin in and out. Other than that I found this hotel to be of good value.

My wife and I were greeted with a welcoming smile by Laura on Reception who could not have been more helpful or informative. From the outset, we realized we were in a top class, stylish hotel run by true professionals.
Our room, with a walk in shower was fabulous, spotlessly cleaned every day, with most comfortable beds. The sunny balcony provided spectacular views over the incredible Playa de Palma.
The wide range of delicious food in the superb and spacious restaurant, was arranged to avoid any delays and helpful staff were on hand to make sure everyone was satisfied.
This hotel provides the most stunning outdoor pools. The beautiful main pool had plenty of space to lounge and relax in the glorious sun, with cheerful staff on hand to supply drinks, whilst the infinity pool on the top floor provided stunning views, particularly during the amazing sunset.
We were impressed with the cycles available, the hotel being ideally placed for a long or short ride along the scenic coastline.
There were three lifts all working perfectly to ensure guests could move around the hotel swiftly.
This hotel has everything you could wish for, being located right on the seafront and amongst an impressive range of shops and restaurants should you wish to explore.
We are certain to return here and relive some of our most wonderful memories !!!

Over the years I have stayed at 3 different HM hotels in Palma including the Grand Fiesta, I appreciate that during covid it has been difficult for every hotel but now open you would think they would be trying even harder to get repeat and new business, unfortunately this is not the case with the Grand Fiesta, in all the showers there is shower gel and shampoo in a refillable container, after 3 days of being empty I had to ask the reception to ask the cleaner to refill the shower gel, I would have thought this was not really difficult and was part of the cleaners job. The food here used to be really nice, the breakfast is now done as cheaply as possible, mushrooms from a can, turkey bacon and baked beans that are revolting. Whilst our stay was bed and breakfast we mostly went somewhere else for breakfast. The lunch time snack menu looks nice but is far from it, one of my friends had chicken which was very dry, my other friend had a burger which she could hardly eat, it was dry, over cooked and looked like it had been cooked the day before and heated up. I was even more disappointed I ordered the hot dog when it arrived it was cold, I sent it back hoping there was a chef in the kitchen but it came back just warm, I asked to see the food and beverage manager but I guess they do not have one as the only person who came to me was a man dressed as a chef, I explained I was not happy and really did not want to spend the rest of my time with a bad stomach, he explained that the sausage had been blanched, I suggested that if this is the way they serve there sausages then maybe next time he should try blanching them in hot water. On a positive note the bar staff are very friendly and attentive. I really hope that the management will see my review as the hotel is really nice and in a great spot. I would suggest employing a chef that takes pride in his work and maybe he will be able to train the existing cooks how to cook not just open cans. The cleaning staff are very pleasant and I am sure with proper guidance and job discretion they would be capable of realising that when the shower gel is empty it needs refilling.

Had been here for cycli g holidays-and for that it is really good. Cycling rental from Huerzeler is in the hotel, as well a cycling shop. Had a front to the sea room with a nice balkony. About 20sqm, modern and clean. As always in Mallorca you will find areas in the room what are not perfectly maintained. What I found annoying is that the safe costs extra, and that you can register your credit card on the room, but getting your bill on to this did not work at all, so you have to have your credit card always with you. Breakfast is quite boring and not of high quality, the muesli is lowest quality ever seen. Dinners are good, try the Mallorquin dinner, For 18€ a good trade.

Good afternoon,
Yes, we can recommend a restaurant called Sa Barca, they make very good paellas and tapas, just 2 minutes from the hotel. There is also El chiringuito restaurant to eat something with music and good atmosphere.
For a restaurant with typical Majorcan food is the Rancho picadero also very good.
Around the hotel there are many very good restaurants and bars.
Thank you.
Best regards.
HM Gran Fiesta.
Dear Dunmore,
We don't have all inclusive, just half board.
Do not hesitate to contact us if we can help you.
Kindest regards,
HM Gran Fiesta team
