Arrived at this hotel at about 10pm and expected grand things considering it was a 4 star hotel and for 3 nights was not far off €800. However we were left wondering down what felt like a hospital corridor with no help with bags or offer of any assistance to the room. Drunken holiday makers wondered the streets outside shouting chants and vulgar words. No food was left for us like most hotels do. They made us pay upfront without seeing the room first. We now know why… horrific. If you want to party the night away then pass out on a sun bed with little time in the hotel then I would say yes maybe book it. But if you want a bit of luxury on your holiday then avoid at all costs. The photos on the website are very deceiving. It is like what I imagine Benidorm to be like. Scantily cladded fat chavs roaming the streets and disturbing the peace. DO NOT STAY HERE. The pool is more the size of a bath and the bath is like a foot spa. Save your money and find somewhere else and avoid the area all together. This hotel is most definitely not what dreams are made of.…
Our second stay at this hotel and just as good as the first. Situated across the road from the beach, fantastic rooftop terrace with views over the seafront. Polite and helpful staff, great choice of food, already looking at next years trip.
The hotel is a nice one. Breakfast and dinner are also pretty nice, and the hotel is literally just by the beach. Room service could have been better. They did not change bed sheets AT ALL (we had to ask for new ones before we got fresh ones from the reception), and they did not refill the toilet papers either. Had to ask for that too. Hotel gym, if you live to run they have one treadmill. The gym really small. They have a gym nearby, about 400m from the hotel, 20€ for 7 days. But overall, the hotel is a nice one and the room was also nice.
I state that I have been coming to this hotel for several years as I have always enjoyed it. It seems that the chef who had lived there so well has retired, now the current chef who depends on the whole culinary sector in addition to not being even half of his predecessor seems to go even to savings. Let's start from the breakfasts where there is no fruit or at least there is little and of poor quality, there is no dried fruit, there are no desserts only a poor chocolate cake bought somewhere. The dinners are embarrassing my wife and I ended up eating only chips and pizza, but let's go back to the fruit even in the evening, always of low quality and this time also very ripe to say the least he was so old. So besides not having a great quality and variety in the menus, the presentation also leaves much to be desired. In the cheese department there were some strawberries to seal the dishes also very “mature” we say. The cakes, even if they didn't look bad, were inedible, certainly not made by them but bought in some low cost. After my complaints with the cook magically the very ripe pineapple disappeared and a proper pineapple tray appeared. Also in the kitchen they are not quick to bring the finished dishes that are often missing for a while without being replaced. In short, more than a 4-star in terms of food, it looks more like a refectory.…
I live in Palma and do not have air conditioning. I had a friend come to visit me and my house is very warm so I booked a hotel SPECIFICALLY with air conditioning. I have never encountered worse service in my entire life. I have not had access to a/c for over a month and i was looking forward to it all week since I do not feel well and wanted to sleep in a cold nice room..that is the ONLY reason I booked this property. We arrived to the room after a few drinks at Sky Bar (which are charged to the room) and the air conditioner was NOT WORKING. Again, this is the ONLY reason I booked this hotel. I called down and was greeted by the most rude person I have ever met, Elena. She said "It is too late to do anything, we can talk to you in the morning... goodbye." She did not listen, did not apologize, did not sympathize, did not do anything to help when all her job is to help guests. She was extremely rude and had a very condescending tone. I asked to be moved to a different room. She said no as they were fully booked. i checked online and I saw availability and she said 'well try to book that room then and see' She refused to help or call any maintenance people and said there was nobody available. After I pushed she finally called someone, then a night porter came to the room and looked around and said he could not do anything. Mind you -- I booked ONE night to have AIR CONDITIONING and this is a service you could not provide me. Elena suggested 'just sleep with the windows open' Well, my friend and I had the worst night of sleep in my life. We were COVERED in mosquito bites. There were loud noises and screams until 5 in the morning. We were treated disgustingly and when i went to ask for some kind of compensation it seems that the front desk manager does not have any authority to do anything?? I am very shocked by this as the front desk manager should be able to offer SOMETHING and instead he had nothing he could even say to me. Please believe me when I tell you that this night was the absolute worst I have ever seen and I have been working in the hotel industry for many years.... I am attaching some photos of our MANY mosquito bites. How dare you let your guests suffer, laugh at them and tell them to just 'open the windows', and then provide nothing of compensation? Elena was rude, unprofessional, lazy and callous. The air conditioning was broken and it led us to a long night of no sleep and I am covered in mosquito bites which I am very allergic to. We slept all night with loud shouting and mosquitoes buzzing in our ear in a hot room...DISGUSTING STAY AWAY…
