Stayed for 4 nights in a Deluxe Suite #10 at approx 500 per night. The room was spacious inside and a very large outside space.. Inside - nice bright room. Separate bedroom. Free minibar. Good furnishings and a new international channel TV. A great room for relaxing and plenty of space for a couple. Cannot fault it. Outside - I am not a fan of hot tubs but this one was large, spotlessly clean and a pleasure to use. 2 large sun beds. 2 swing chairs..table and 2 chairs. Although it may not appear private, the hotel was full and there was never a feeling of lack of privacy. A lovely space overlooking the sea and pool Staff - very helpful and friendly. Cannot be faulted. Service excellent. Food - breakfast basis. Served at any time of the day which is a great plus. Tasty and good variety. Ate in the restaurant a couple of nights with a very good menu and products . Overall - it is pricey for Puerto Del Carmen but I thought it was value for money and compares well to other hotels that I have stayed in at a similar price bracket. Would recommend.…
Thanks to Lanis again for another great stay. All staff fully demonstrate exceptional hospitality and customer service. The whole team; cleaners, reception, maintenance and restaurant staff consistently but quietly exemplify professionalism & integrity. Nothing really was too much bother and even the smallest requests were always delivered. It was a real pleasure to meet Jonathan again as he always goes “above and beyond”. A consistent and considerate welcome and service from Cosmin and Antonio. It’s always a pleasure to be at Lanis, a holiday location we are confident will be repeated on many further occasions. Looking forward to seeing you all again on our next visit.
Returned to Lani Suites for the second time in January for some winter Sun. Often wonder whether a 2nd visit is going to be as good as the first . We needn’t have worried . As the title says this is how it should be . The location, service, rooms, food and staff are superb. It’s the attention to detail led by the Owner who is extremely Customer focused with exceptional standards in terms of cleanliness and the ‘small things ‘ It’s obvious this is more than just a ‘business ‘ for him. Pick up and drop off from the airport, free soft drinks in the fridge and around the pool, room service - all top notch. The breakfast is fresh and extensive , as is lunch menu and would recommend dinner too. Eat there on 4 nights it was that good. Puerto del Carmen and it’s strip can be busy and restaurants there cater for a multitude of clientele. Interspersed along the way are a few that we went to for a change of scenery . Coming back into Lanis was like returning to an oasis of luxury. All ground floor rooms contain a hot tub on the terrace but to be honest was rarely used - the pool is right next to you. The suite is great . Very well appointed, perhaps the bedroom could be a bit bigger , but that was a minor thing for us. Room was serviced twice a day - spotlessly clean. Finally to call out Johnathan the manager who was brilliant . He’s genuinely concerned about every customer and was a pleasure to speak to. Suffice to say we’ve already booked our stay next year.…
This was my first time to Lanzarote, (and my husband's second; his first was as a teenager). Jan./Feb. is the quietest time of year in our business, and that's when we try to take the opportunity to have a child-free holiday. We would usually go further afield to ensure good weather, but our youngest child has significant learning and medical needs, so in early 2020 we decided to give Tenerife a try, with the Canaries being a shorter journey. We had a great holiday then, but this time I was specifically looking for a small, boutique, adults-only hotel. It took a couple of hours of internet scrolling to find Lani's. We've been blessed to stay in some amazing hotels around the world, I'd specifically mention Santorini, Dubai and The Maldives but what gives Lani's that little extra is the customer service. From having a driver meet us at the airport, to a lovely welcome and then on to friendly and attentive staff, brilliant service, good food and peaceful surroundings we couldn't have asked for more. It's what the doctor ordered! The owner was visible every day, making a conscious effort to speak to all guests, and keeping an eye on proceedings although all the staff from the reception team, hotel managers and service staff were efficient and friendly and this seems to be its priority. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The rooms are well equipped and spotless with regular housekeeping throughout the day and little touches like chocolates (and hot chocolate on one of the colder days) being delivered to the room. Having a separate living area was great and we had a lovely view of the ocean from suite 21. The pool area is beach-club like, a lovely vibe, with poolside service, free cocktail hour and canapes. Another plus was that I was surprisingly impressed with the beaches, Tenerife is largely black volcanic sand, so I wasn't sure if the online pics had been photoshopped slightly, but all I saw was expansive golden beaches and the sea was wonderful. The only let-down was the weather, although we did have 3 decent days where we was able to enjoy being around the pool and beach. I've read a review where the guest found it noisy on occasion, and given it's next to beach access and also, it's located on the main "strip", I can imagine this could be the case although we didn't experience any of that. Perhaps it's because January is quieter? I don't know. But in my experience, because it's beachfront, I did feel totally cut off from everything else going on, like the outside world didn't exist. I gave Lani's a 4 for value because it is quite expensive for bed and breakfast only, but having said that, if what you're looking for is total relaxation, in a child-free, beach-club style setting then it's worth the price. We've already re-booked to return in February 2024, but next time we'll be taking our son and a friend so have booked a two-bedroom suite. Can't wait!…
As usual an excellent stay at Lani's Suite de Luxe. The staff are superb and are most attentive to our needs. The care and consideration given to guests on an individual basis is second to none. Roll on our next visit!
This was our third stay for one week over Xmas. The most relaxing Xmas we have ever had. The Lanis family go above and beyond in every respect. Everything was perfect. We had breakfast room service at no extra cost which was delicious and stayed half board with the amazing restaurant food and service. There was a special gala dinner and entertainment during the Xmas week which was great. We are returning in the summer and again in the new year. Miss Lanis already! Love to all Alison and Julian
We've been to some amazing hotels in Lanzarote (Fariones, Barceló Teguise Beach Adults Only), Tenerife (Royal Hideaway Corales Beach - Adults Only) and Gran Canaria, but Lani's Suites Deluxe - although much smaller and more intimate hotel - was the only one that took our breaths away from the first moment to the last. We stayed in a Suite Deluxe which although advertised as on the ground floor, didn't seem it as the small resort slopes away past the pool and down to the ocean so the view was outstanding. Beautifully lit at night as well. The suite was perfect - twin double beds, large lounge, large fridge stocked with free soft drinks & beers and a great shower, and outside on the spacious terrace, two loungers, a table + 2 chairs and a jacuzzi. The terrace is not private but you just treat it as your own extension of the pool area and it's really handy to be able to wander to and from the pool. The pool was perfectly heated with lots of loungers and beds around. There's some steps down to two small beaches. Next to each lounger and on our terrace there's a button to call for service which worked well. Breakfasts were served at the table from the Lani's on-site restaurant overlooking the ocean, with an extensive menu choice ,and were excellent. We were welcomed each morning with a chilled glass of Cava which was (for my wife at least) endlessly topped up. Tuesday evening there was a superb singer on the terrace at the bottom next to the beach which we watched from our jacuzzi, and the brilliant staff came round with complimentary Cava and nuts. Magical. As well as breakfasts, we ate in the restaurant twice - once for lunch and once for dinner and both times it was excellent. Really everything about this hotel - the staff (so nice and efficient), cleanliness (spotless), location (the right end of the strip), outlook (incredible). food, amenities, rooms, landscaping, pool etc was outstanding and we are already looking forward to returning. Thank you, Lani's Suites Deluxe for a truly unforgettable stay.…
First of all I would like to say that my wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Lanis, The whole place is lovely and very well maintained. On the whole the attention to detail is excellent. All of the staff were brilliant, very attentive, friendly and helpful. I didn't catch everyones names so will mention the ones I did. Fernando, Tony, Betty and Jonathan and all of their colleagues are a credit to Lanis. Well done guys and thank you, nothing was too much trouble for any of you. The pool was lovely and the rooms were immaculate and very well equipped. So why only 4 stars? I hear you cry. There were a few things that surprised and disappointed us considering the previous reviews and cost of the holiday. At over 400 euros a night for bed and breakfast I expected some things to be better. When we arrived at the airport there was no one there to collect us as promised, after a long wait we finally saw a gentleman holding a Lanis sign with but with the names of some clients arriving on a later flight. He knew nothing about us, eventually he persuaded an associate to drive us to the hotel. This was my first impression of Lanis, so not the best of starts. My other gripes were mostly breakfast related, one day I had the delight of biting into a seemingly still frozen sausage and the next day my bacon was bordering on raw. Also the wait for a coffee refill and pastries was curtailed a few times and given up as a bad job. For a premium hotel breakfast should be better. In actual fact I had a better breakfast at the airport waiting to fly over and that was not that good. Dinner on the other hand was very good. Although the service is very good the speed could be better at times, we waited for 25 minutes for our cocktails to arrive one evening. Also, if you have the opportunity to choose a room, try and avoid room 20 as it is right next to a beach cut through and was noisy at times and also provided little privacy as many of the guests would be would keep trundling past. Also it views are very limited and it only has 20% of the sea view afforded by the other suites. We paid the extra premium to have the jacuzzi on our terrace and looked forward to relaxing and gazing out to sea, however, when seated in the jacuzzi there was no view at all. Please do not let my negative comments stop you from booking, I just wanted to let people know that Hotel Utopia does not exist. My expectations were based on previous reviews and were probably too high…
Another blissfully luxurious and wonderful stay at Lanis. Cannot fault a thing and the staff make it their mission to make your holiday unforgettable. A big thank you to all who looked after us so well. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
It was a nice treat to stop by Lani's Suites again on our Canaries cruise stop at nearby Arrecife. Jonathan and his team welcomed us back warmly and pulled out all the stops for our guests and us over a delicious and plentiful bubbly brunch. The hotel still looks fantastic and we almost didn't want to leave and return to the ship! It was also lovely to meet and chat with Mr Lani himself about the hotel and how he came to build it. Thank you again to all the staff and to Jonathan for arranging our visit - we will most certainly be back for a future stay. :-)
