See you in March and November 2023 ! Absolutely love this place, the staff, the rooms, the pool, the food, the planes, the entertainment, the location.... most of all... the fellow guests. Lovely bunch ! Feliz Navidad mi amigos / amigas !!!!
Loved this hotel. Yes, it needs a revamp. Bedroom was clean. Towels were changed daily and room cleaned. We had a half board booking. Plenty of choice at both breakfast and evening meal. Definitely, something for the fussy eater. The Christmas decorations were beautiful, especially the crib in the foyer
This hotel is only 8 minutes by car from the airport and while not in the centre of Puerto del Carmen is still within walking distance of quite a few shops and restaurants. The staff, particulalrly on reception, are very pleasant and helpful. Facilities are good with several bars and restaurants on site as well as a large pool with plenty of sunbeds and an very nice spa.
Our 3rd and last time in Beatritz, hotel seriously needs a good upgrade, room was shabby, towels stained, breakfast was cold and awful. Staff lovely very helpful such a shame to see it has deteriorated so much.
I’ve stayed here with my partner before and found the hotel ok but this time I wasn’t happy. We were just here luckily on bed and breakfast basis as I found the breakfast not at all good. Yes there’s plenty of variety but nothing I actually enjoyed. Every single day we had to go to reception to get a new key card as the two we had seemed to stop working after midday. Total pain having to keep going down to reception to have them renewed. The receptionist kept telling us to keep key cards away from phone etc. yes we are well aware of that and our key cards were kept separately well away from any electrical devices. The wifi in the room and in the most part of the hotel was utter rubbish. I couldn’t conect my iPad to wifi at all in our room. The mobile data signal was also really poor and I was unable to hotspot my iPad from my phone either. I will say the lady who cleaned our room every day was really lonely. So friendly and always with a smile.…
Location and general facilities of this hotel are good. Staff are friendly and helpful. That's where the positive ceases, bed and breakfast is acceptable anything beyond this is a big No No. Half board was very disappointing, the quality of food served in the evening did not reflect the 4 star rating this hotel has. Generally bland and tasteless, frozen pizzas , even in the :specialist" Italian restaurant, which there is an additional charge for. Frozen deserts... the list goes on & on. A number of attempts were made to discuss changing the booking with the hotel, breakfast & lunch prehaps as we were going out to eat in the evening, both via face to face & email, all of which were ignored 🙁 which obviously compounded the situation.
Nothing wrong with this hotel for a cheap break with a short transfer from the airport. The hotel layout is very quirky and the public areas are large, set in a weird atrium . Reminded me a bit of a large shopping/ eating centre. Rooms are lovely and spacious, clean and comfortable. Good location to explore this stretch of coast. Food was ok , not fantastic but it’s a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for .
Just returned from a week at the Beatriz and we had a wonderful time went as a couple to celebrate my partners birthday Hotel is clean , staff are friendly but not pushy to get you involved in activities . Food is something for everyone, rooms clean towels changed daily key card had to be re-activated a few times . All in all a relaxing stay lots of memories made Thankyou to the staff who work really hard
We have been regular returning guests to the Beatriz Playa for almost 15yrs and unfortunately hadn’t been back since 2019 due to Covid. We have never had a poor stay here. When we walked into reception Maria the receptionist was really pleased to see us back and gave my wife a huge hug. Nothing was too much for the staff on reception who were extremely helpful and made us so welcome. First impression being back was just how clean the Hotel was and the free WiFi available had been significantly upgraded so you could access it easily now in your room which was great. The food on offer was very good, with a huge variety on offer, with salads, meat, fish etc. The chef would be grilling away with Steaks, Chicken, Pork etc and you could help yourself to as much as you could eat with no restrictions. Believe me you will not go hungry in the Beatriz Playa. The desserts are absolutely amazing, as is the choice of food. It does pay to go all inclusive, as I did see some guests expecting to eat for free when they didn’t pay for all exclusive. You get what you pay for. The restaurant staff are very attentive with many working in the hotel for many years. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. Cleaned every day with fresh towels put in the bathroom and a nice Samsung TV on the wall with a channel giving American crime dramas back to back all day. CSI Miami, FBI, Criminal Minds etc all watchable in English with no subtitles. Twin beds were very comfortable and adequate cupboard space. Room has phone with access to calling reception if you need anything. We were given extra pillows, a kettle and basically anything we asked for within reason. Room has a moderate size fridge to keep drinks etc cool. The pool area was a nice place to go and relax. There is a table tennis set up to use, crazy golf course which the hotel are completely rebuilding with a nice new one and we were lucky to get 10 days of excellent hot weather. Lots of sun-beds and very nice clean pool area which they clean early each morning. There is a seating area very close by with free soft drinks, coffee, tea etc if all inclusive. This area has a smaller dining area for lunch etc if you want to stay close to the pool rather than going to the main dining area. Frankly for the price of our 10 night stay we were more than happy with the hotel and I can’t understand some of the poorer reviews on here. We would highly recommend Beatriz Playa has a comfortable base for any trip to Lanzarote and we will be booking a return trio back here as soon as we get home. We always stay with the all inclusive deal and you will never go hungry or need to eat out, as there is so much food available in the restaurant.…
Read the reviews, stayed before years ago, eager to return, what a let down 🤦♂️, we booked half board, we eat out 4 of the nights costing us around €350-€400 when we should be eating in the hotel but the food was so bland and boring for a 4 star we expected more. The staff in general were lovely throughout the hotel the only plus. My biggest problem was how dated the decor was throughout inside and out, I was shocked that wooden carvings of Indians and whatever the rest were I do not know along with 80’s dated carpets still exist in this hotel the sheer darkness and low lighting throughout shocked me. The rooms were dated the decor is from the 90’s, probally earlier in fact! the value for money and location is what drew me back plus sentimental reasons having stayed there with my now wife many years ago I wanted to return but this hotel has had its day and I am sorry to say I won’t be back. I went walkout to look at other 4 star hotels nearby and the Beatriz management should take a long hard look at the competition and urgently spend money on refurbishment’s throughout. I don’t like giving poor reviews and i fact this may be my first time, but I won’t be the last to give a negative review I have to say, just home from a lovely week in beautiful lanzarote but for the Beatriz? Exit stage right 😢…
