Please ignore all the bad reviews, we have just arrived back. We were staying on B25 and it was a massive apartment, cleaned every day. Small Kitchenette area, large lounge and 2 double rooms. Shower pressure was great, all was clean.. staff were friendly and helpful and its in a great location. I watched the sunrise over the sea from our balcony every morning. Ok the apartments may been some TLC, but they are fit for purpose, we booked self catering and our hobs worked but never really got hot hot so we used the microwave and fridge.. theres a local Spar opposite so we'd grab baguettes, meat and cheeses (and some vino) and take stuff like that. We also found it was cheaper to book car hire from the reception... ooh and if you get a chance definitely so the Texas Rancho day :) I would definitely stay here again.

Where do I start? If your looking to go to Lanzarote Stay well clear of this place. Went for 7 nights and was moved 2nd day Place is falling apart Live wires hanging from wall between beds Cracked tiles from one end of rooftop area to next all with sharp edges and easy to cut yourself on. A window above our 11 year olds bed that had no locking mechanism and wind blew it open and was 2 floors up Raised step by an inch from a previous bodged repair at top of rooftop area by over an inch which was a massive trip hazard and straight down onto concrete steps Lampshades hanging onto bulbs as connectors all worn away Sunbed and table/chairs on rooftop encased in dirt Rubber seal around veranda doors all peeled off Dated is an understatement Pool area It's tiny with sunbeds crammed into a small area Food????? That's not what I would call it Disgusting slop I wouldn't feed to anyone served up Rabbit and what I can only describe as rice with pot puri through it Staff?? Ignorant, rude and arrogant We did think maybe just our room and went to ask to be moved on the 1st day 1st receptionist said "Ive git better things to do,come back tomorrow morning" 2nd one said " If you don't like it hand keys back and leave" We had to contact our holiday company to request a move (that's another story that's been hell) Manager of hotel didn't even have the decency to come and speak to us or our holiday company This is the worst hotels I've ever stayed at We goy moved to Nazaret Sol which I will be doing a separate review but I can say this was FAR better and I'm amazed this place is even being used by companies STAY CLEAR THIS IS HORRID

This was our second stay at costa mar, our first was 5 years ago. The hotel and rooms are clean. We had a ground floor room in block e. We had two double bedrooms and a sofa bed. We stayed self catering, room had a hob and basic cooking utensils. Across the road from the hotel is a spar. Towels are changed regular. The staff are all friendly and made us feel welcome. The hotel is across the road from a beach and has a few shops and restaurants outside. Transfer from the airport was around 12 euros. You can walk to the main strip in 20-30mins, or 5euro in a taxi. We would stay here again.

We visited on a cheap, self catering deal, so I want to give a fair review based on that. Me and my Husband are retired and I have some mobility issues; mainly around steps/stairs. I emailed to ask for a ground floor apartment and we were very happy to be given a two bedroom ground floor one, with a large patio. The rooms are large with plenty of storage and very large beds. Nice bathroom too. The kitchenette was very limited but as we don't do more than toast and tea that didnt matter to us. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on that. The location is in the centre of a large bay . There is a supermarket next door, plus a pharmacy and 3 or 4 bars and restaurants. Everything else is a walk away but it is mostly flat. All in all we had a lovely week but there are a few definite drawbacks for disabled people. If you are given anything other than a ground floor apartment there are lots and lots of steps and few ramps. Also and I think most importantly, there is no disabled access to the swimming pool at all. Only metal ladders to get in or out, which in my view is a real failing. In March the heat was bearable and the pool was freezing so it didn't matter, but in hotter weather it certainly would have been. There is no childrens pool either.

Stayed here in Feb (week after half term) with my husband for 7 nights. Our room (A block) was basic, quite outdated. It was very spacious though and had a well equipped kitchenette. Lovey big balcony with bonus of two sun loungers. The view was beautiful overlooking the beach, and we had no problems with noise as the bedroom was at the back of the apartment. We were on the top floor though, and so going to the restaurant/ beach meant lots of steps, and also a flight of steps from the top main road down to our room. Food was not to our taste. Very limited menu for breakfast and dinner, and the restaurant seemed very busy no matter what time you went for meals. We decided to eat out most nights, but there are a few nice restaurants at the complex in front of the hotel. Turn left and a 5 minute walk brings you to another strip of restaurants, and right about 20 minutes takes you to Purerto Del Carmon so even more choice. We took a walk to the Biospehera complex one night, about an hours walk. Would 100% reccommend the open air cinema. Staff were polite enough, but I wouldn't go so far as to say friendly. The pool area is spotless and the pool itself is lovely although freezing. Lots of sunbeds and a pool table, plus a snack bar. Overall, we enjoyed our holiday but it wasn't to our taste so probably wouldn't return.

We went w/c 10th Feb so before the madness of half term, we stayed in block b and had a ground floor apartment with two rooms, the apartment was clean and the cleaners came in every other day, dont need to pack toilet rolls. The breakfast was nice but not much on offer for children to be fair. My daughter ended up eating ham and bacon. The pool was clean and none of this beach towels guarding the sun loungers, my daughter loved the mini kids pool, the beach was lovely and rock pools to explore with easy access, we hired a bike car and that was €10 + €10 deposit for an hour which was long enought to go to the other end and get a coffee. Taxi to the next town was around €5 which is where Lidi is so probably worth going there to get some shopping, we ate out a few days and the food was lovely, pizza takeout was really good. Not a loud location, The staff in the resort were friendly enough and the cleaners were very helpful. Would definitely go back but would hire a car which was apparently cheap but didn't stay long enough to do that. Read other reviews about being out dated but for a hoilday let your not going to expect extravagant furnishings. We paid for the internet which works all over the loop of apartments. Most people speak English, even had to attend their version of a&e and they had an English speaking doctor and the medicine was very cheap.
