We arrived on a Saturday evening five of us and a baby excited to start are holiday. We were both given two ground floor rooms which seemed perfect one was but one was infested with cockroaches. Me being in a room with cockroaches made my skin crawl especially with a seven month old baby its not ideal. I went down to reception and asked could i be moved and explained the situation the receptionist didn’t seem bothered and said she had no other rooms and would send someone up, a friendly house keeper came up and told us to leave the room. That evening when we returned we seen 12 dead cockroaches we thought that was the end of it. The next day we seen one or two so we carried on with are holiday. On day three when we woke up there was around 30 cockroaches in are apartment my partner was chasing them killing them. I finally snapped and went down to reception in tears she said she would change my room. She offered me a new room however this was far from the pool so she offered me a disabled room beside the pool and lift which was perfect. When packing to change room we found so many cockroaches on the babies stuff i threw out half his clothes as i was to nervous and freaked out. When we moved to the new room we found four but to be honest i think the followed us as we did not find any again. The other downfall house keeping did not change the sheets in a week which i didn’t find great for a three star hotel. The pool area is lovely but the pool is very cold. The bar and pool staff are very friendly and nice. The breakfast is okay i ate most mornings my partner thought it was horrible. Overall the first three days really put a sour tatse in my mouth on the place especially when reception didn’t seem bothered that a seven month old was in a cockroaches infested room. We didnt even get a sorry. If i have of had the money on the first day i would of left the hotel and stayed somewhere else.

This was Perfect for an October Cycling holiday in October 2021. The welcome was first class and the check I n was very efficient. We stayed self catering as we wanted extra space for two bikes. The apartment was great, spacious for two adults, bikes and bike boxes. It was spotlessly clean and housekeeping cleaned and changed out towels every two days. The hotel is close to the front but not noisy in the slightest. It’s a great location for a beach and cycling holiday.

This hotel has only 3 stars, but it deserves more because of the great attitude of all the staff. Abdel's service team in the restaurant is a delight. The food from the buffet is always fresh and divers, something for everyone - and it doesn't get dull even after 2 weeks. From the lifeguard to the cleaning service, everyone is nice and in a good mood. Definitely going to visit again some time.

Clean, nicely decorated and spacious rooms, it’s a shame that some of the facilities on site were limited due to restrictions and amount of guests. Started to get busier before we left.. so I’m sure that will change

Stayed here for 10 nights with my friend and absolutely loved it. We’re already looking at booking back here again for next year. The room was fab, clean and plenty of space. We were in a first floor room and loved our balcony, we had the most amazing views. Straight ahead was the mountains and the ocean to the left we had another ocean view. We also over looked the pool area. The pool/bar was brilliant, had to be early to get a sun lounger as they were snapped up pretty quickly. Pool was clean and cold but well appreciated for a nice dip to cool off. Pool bar was open from 10am until 11pm. The restaurant was great, we were always able to find something to eat, I loved that there was the option of eating outdoors and having an ocean view for this too. All of the staff we met were amazing, the cleaning team work so hard, the restaurant and bar staff work some long hours and always had a smile on their faces for you. The reception team were great too. Check in was quick and all covid info was given and paperwork checked. They took out temp at check in too. When we were leaving we asked if they could print out our PLF and negative pre departure results, this was done with no fuss for us. Location of the hotel is perfect, we were just set back one street away from the middle of the main strip in PDC, but didn’t have any of the noise you’d expect being so close to the late night bars/clubs. There was a Spar shop at the bottom of road and tons of bars/restaurants and shops. Covid wise, masks had to be worn in the hotel at reception, in the restaurant while moving around and also whilst being served at the pool bar. There was hand sanitiser available all around the hotel and the team kept everywhere clean and tidy. Outside of the hotel, masks had to be worn in shops and whilst moving around inside bars/restaurants. All had hand sanitiser available and staff were amazing at keeping everywhere clean. My friend and I felt so much more safer in and around the hotel than we do back at home. I can not find fault with Relaxia Lanzaplaya at all and we can not wait to return!!
