Finally made it back to The Nautilus after 24 months due to the pandemic. We have been coming to The Nautilus for a number years, this was our 10th visit and was good to be back & as good as ever 👍 we had a lovely relaxing holiday. The Nautilus, both the complex itself and the apartment, was as usual spotlessly clean thanks to the cleaning staff and maintenance guys. Hand sanitiser was available around the complex and masks worn by all staff. All the staff are very friendly & helpful - and was so good to see Marina and Suzi again. Thank you all once again for a lovely holiday & look forward to seeing you later this year 😊

Hotel's Favorite
From the moment we arrived this hotel is amazing. Staff are so so friendly and the whole complex is spotlessly clean. The reception staff are outstanding and so helpful; the cleaners are friendly and happy. Air con in the living areas is good and there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom. There is a great drying area with line and pegs provided. The pool area is great although the pool could be a bit warmer but it’s fine once you’ve been in a while. We could not praise this hotel enough, we have an adapted room and there is so much space and consideration gone into the planning. If we could give it more stars we would.

Nautilus is a beautiful hotel located not far from the airport, which means you can be changed and in the pool whilst many others are still stuck, sweating away, on the coach. Whilst I am not disabled myself it seems very wheelchair friendly, with accessible ramps step free access and a pool hoist. The apartments are spacious, clean, modern and comfortable with absolutely everything you could need. They are a short walk from the beach, restaurants and shops and a slightly longer walk to Puerto Del Carmen (a bit more lively) or Playa Honda (slightly more quite and charming) or a short and cheap taxi to either. The staff here are simply amazing. Nothing is too much. With the changes to travel restrictions on our first day they made a stressful situation so much easier at the end. So very friendly. Can't rate this place more highly. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again

Our first overseas holiday for 22 months and we honestly could not have chosen better accommodation. We received a warm welcome from Galder on arrival and shown to our room. We had booked a 1 bedroom XL apartment, but we had been upgraded to a 2-bedroom Adapted apartment and it was huge. The small complex is very attractive with a number of rooms around the good sized pool. Note however that the pool temperature when we were there was only 22c – that is too cold even for us, and sadly we never used it. It’s a pity the temperature cannot be increased somewhat as the pool looks very inviting. Each apartment has a small, personal patio with table, chairs and sun-loungers, although there are a number of sun loungers around the pool area and when we were there (November), there was never any problem finding a vacant one. The apartments are well equipped and are spotlessly clean. A big round of applause should go to the cleaning staff, who all do an amazing job of keeping the apartments and grounds so well and it is clear they do an even more spectacular clean after guests have checked out. It made us feel safe and we were impressed. We were also impressed how well adapted the Nautilus is for disabled guests. The Nautilus is well located for easy access to the traffic free promenade and beautiful beach, which is approximately 200 meters away, through the park. There is also a small, but well stocked Spar, in the restaurant/shopping complex near the promenade, again around 150 meters away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nautilus and will hopefully return in February. (Note: Each room has a Smart TV via Google Chrome. Now we both have iPhones, and accessing the Smart TV with an iPhone proved impossible. We have to say that the hotel tried very hard to rectify the situation, including getting their Tech engineers to try and make it work, to no avail. If this aspect is important for you in accessing Netflix, Amazon etc, ensure your phone can mirror on the Smart TV Chromcast service. All UK Freeview channels worked fine though.)

To me the measure of how good a place is if you can say "I will go back." I would definitely go back to Nautilus. I won't repeat the revious glowing reports about efficient staff, clean environment, and lovely decor. This was a last minute rushed booking and my first in self-catering for almost 30 years so I was nervous in case I ended up with something whch wasn't great but Nautilus surpassed all our expectations. Servicing was daily except Sundays. An example is that we had a couple of small maintenence issues (light bulb replacements). The maintenence guy on both occasions reached my bungalow before I managed to get back there myself. Any request was met instantly (even printing off the UK locator forms for the return trip. I will make two comments. The "heated" pool isn't actually heated and is quite cool in November so we didn't use it so if that is important to you it might matter and the close proximity of aircarft landing might affect some people. I actually loved watching the planes approach the airport so to me it was not an issue and we quite enjoyed watching them. With their supermarket and cafe closed while we were there I was slightly worried but the location to both the Central shopping and restaurant area being so close it was not an issue. In fact the location to the general Matagorda area and beach was excellent. Public transport is about a 15 minute walk but once you work it out it's easy to get to both Puerto Del Carmen or Porta Teguise or even Playa Blanca if you wish. We loved the holiday and the accommodation at Nautilus and I would strongly recommend it.
