Aqua Suites garners high praise for its spacious and spotless rooms, replete with thoughtful amenities such as daily replenished water and air conditioning, an aspect that guests have called out appreciatively. The hotel's amenities, including large beds and balconies with sun loungers, earn rave reviews for enhancing the overall guest experience. While the location's proximity to the seafront is popular, the hill poses a slight challenge for some. Travelers applaud the value and the hotel's service, which is marked by professional staff and personal touches. However, the atmosphere is noted for its tranquility, with a few guests desiring more nightlife.

Just home from an incredible 14 days at Aqua Suites with my 2 daughters, husband and parents. It was our second time at AS and it was just as fantastic as the first time 5 years ago.

On arrival we were greeted with a cold glass of cava from the lovely lady on reception who was super helpful. This was just what we needed after a long day and an 11pm arrival. All of the ladies on reception were so helpful and friendly.

Our rooms were gorgeous. Absolutely immaculate, so well kept by the fabulous group of cleaning staff and as we were on the top floor (rooms 412 & 414) it was so peaceful with lots of privacy too. The rooms overlooked the pool which was perfect.

The food was unbelievably good during our stay. Olivio the chef is a real master at his craft. Every person we spoke to was so complimentary about the food and he went out of his way to make sure the guests were happy with the food. He was also happy to take any suggestions of what people would like to eat. The BBQ on a Wednesday is amazing and the food cooked to perfection.

I can't say enough about how amazing the hotel is. We met and got to know so many lovely guests and such fabulous staff of the hotel. We all absolutely loved Andres, Ivan, Alexis, Erene, Anna and her lovely Mum, Corina and all of the people who work their socks off to make the place such a success. Ivan makes the most incredible cocktails in the bar and makes people want to keep going to the bar night after night. He's so friendly and is great with the kids. He makes you feel so welcome. Alexis is a total gem and goes out of his way to make sure you are ok and having a good time. He's great with the kids and is such a polite and kind person. Erene was just wonderful with my girls, especially the youngest who adores her and cuddled her every time she saw her. Anna is super helpful and always has a smile on her face and wants to do everything she can to help. She's so polite too. Corina is a complete firecracker who is so full of energy. She does most of the entertainment and is so hardworking. She tries to get everyone involved and is a lot of fun. Andres is hilarious and so hard working too. He always has a smile on his face and made us laugh so much. The hotel is so lucky to have such wonderful staff and would be so silly to ever let any of these people go as they make the place what is it. The lifeguard is also a lovely guy and he helped my youngest daughter one day when she hurt her foot along with one of the maintenance guys who was really great and helped her too. The maintenance guys clean all day and night to make sure the pool areas are as clean as possible and they never stop.

The only downside and it's a tiny couple of things is the air con and certain parts of Puerto Del Carmen. I know there was a heatwave but the heat in the rooms at times was hard to sleep in so the management really need to look at this. When you go to the bottom of the road when you come out of the hotel and get to the water, I'd suggest going to the left. If you go to the right it's not as nice and is full of overcrowded bars and restaurants. The left is a bit calmer.

I'd definitely recommend the hotel and would come back again for sure.

I hope the hotel keep all of the amazing staff and don't change anything about the place as things like late check outs and good views from the rooms can make or break a holiday.

Well done Aqua Suites. We loved our holiday.

Stayed at the Aqua Suites in Puerto Del Carmen in November for 10 nights on a half board basis. Not been to this hotel before but been holidaying in Lanzarote for the past 17 years. The complex and rooms where spotless from top to bottom. Cleaning staff were brilliant, with your room being cleaned everyday. Towels are renewed everyday and pool towels are provided free of charge. The safe in the room is also free of charge with just a 20 euro deposit that you get back at the end of your stay. When we arrived we tried the pool bar for a snack at lunch time and a drink. The food was amazing and was a reasonable price. On our first morning down to breakfast we were greeted at the door by Mandy. She showed us around the very large selection of cold food which you could help yourself to. I could not believe the variety of fruit that was available, I've never seen so much at any other hotel. There were fruits I'd never tried before as well as fresh strawberries, blueberries and dragon fruit. The hot food selection comes on a menu, you tell the staff what you would like and it's cooked fresh for you. You can have as much or as little as you want. There is also a chefs special on every morning. On a night time you've got a choice of around 3 difference starters, main courses and deserts. On a Sunday they do a roast beef dinner which was beautiful. Also they do a bbq night with so many different meats available you would not be disappointed, thanks Chef! We didn't stay in for many evening meals as we like eating out on the main strip of Puerto Del Carman but the meals we had were lovely. If you miss an evening meal the staff allow you to swap it for a lunch in the pool bar instead so you don't miss any of the meals that you have paid for. They also give you a choice of swapping 2 of your evening meals for two different restaurants down the old town by the harbour at no extra cost, but we are unable to comment on these as we never used them, but other guests said they were nice. Entertainment was provided a few nights, the deal or no deal night was good and also the Robbie Williams/Queen tribute night was fantastic. Overall we had a fantastic time at this hotel, all the staff go the extra mile for you to make sure everything is perfect from reception, waiting staff, chefs to the cleaners, thank you to everyone of you for making our holiday brilliant. We will definitely be returning!

This Hotel is indeed Amazing, the high standards of the accommodation and attention to detail are evident all around. Booked in half board we had a half self- service breakfast and a fresh cooked to order table service, the staff are all fantastic and will look after you very well. Dinner menu is very attractive and changes daily with some exciting and delicious, all table service apart from one night when the BBQ is on and you can ask for flame grilled anything... superb. You can swap your
main meal to dine at Sassis which is
owned by the hotel, it was so good we had to back for more, you MUST try Dinning here it's in the old town.

Apartments are very modern and finished very nicely with a modern tiles bathroom with walk in shower.
Fridge is stocked with a small minibar when you arrive and they give you a large bottle of water every day, housekeeping is great and very high standards, the entire hotel is spotless.

There is a swimming pool on the lower floor and an adults on large Jacuzzi on floor above...very relaxing.
The Aqua suites are situated 10 minutes walk from the main Playa Grande a pleasant walk.
This is a Gem of a hotel with excellent Food, engaging freindly staff and a nice personal feel to it, we indeed look forward to returning again.

Fabulous experience from arrival to departure, on arrival we were welcomed at reception by Juan who firstly offered us a glass of Cava while he explained the facilities available in detail. Found room on ground floor to be spacious and to a high standard including cleanliness. May ask for first floor suite on next visit although this would not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties due to steep and narrow staircases. Food fabulous, self service continental breakfast with cooked breakfast ordered and brought to your table. Table service for evening meal with choice of 4 options per course available throughout our stay. All restaurant staff very helpful. There is the option to dine at two other restaurants in the old town Sassi's and Emma's Cantina both of which we tried and can highly recommend. Both of these restaurants are an experience not to be missed. We used the jacuzzi which was fine once you were in the water, plenty sun loungers with no reserve policy. Went to quiz night in bar which was a fun night. Regarding the suite we found it to be bright and spacious with a well equipped patio with twin sun loungers and table and chairs. The bathroom has a good sized walk in shower and fabulous toiletries replenished daily. Well stocked free mini bar on arrival and reasonable charges to replenish, bottled water free daily for tea and coffee facilities.
The holiday was made more special when arriving back from breakfast on my wife's birthday to find a bottle of Bubbly and a balloon in our suite.

We chose Aqua Suites based on the great reviews, and were not disappointed. Check in was quick and efficient, with a cheeky glass of cava thrown in!!
We were allocated room 207,which was lovely and quiet. The room was huge, with a kettle and large fridge, an iron and small ironing board is also provided. There is a safe in the room for which you pay a refundable deposit of 20 euros. We had a lovely large terrace with sunbeds, as we got the sun from around 11am, we didn't go to the main pool.
Food in the restaurant was excellent, great selection of meats, cheeses, fruit and pastries, along with freshly cooked hot food to order. We were half board and tended to swap for lunch, as we like to venture out at night! On the two occasions we ate in the hotel at night, the food was fabulous - the BBQ night is a must.
Staff were brilliant, lovely and friendly. Overall a brilliant place to relax 😁

We have just returned from a 7 night stay and had a lovely relaxing time.
We were allocated a room in a quieter area with a balcony, just as requested, in 200 block which was perfect. The suites are spacious, comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean on arrival and were kept to the same standards throughout our stay, with nothing overlooked. The only thing I would add is that drawer space would have been good and maybe a bed side cabinet? Water is provided every day and on arrival there is also beer, wine and soft drinks. Also tea/ coffee etc is provided along with a kettle and coffee machine. Worth also pointing out that the fridge is a good size bigger than the usual mini bar ones. Nice touch. The balcony has sun loungers, a table and chairs, plus a parasol, which was great.
The restaurant, well what can we say? It was like fine dining in an exclusive restaurant every evening the standards were so high and the breakfasts were equally delicious, with plenty of choice at each sitting. Also it’s all served to you piping hot, nicer than buffet style. We particularly enjoyed the BBQ evening, not just because the food was equally as nice but because we got to meet Paul the chef, and were able to compliment him and his team personally for the high standard of food provided. The seafood paella option was delicious and worth requesting. The staff in the restaurant are friendly, attentive and eager to please. If they run out of a particular choice, they will offer it to you as a special order for the next evening. Great service!
The evening entertainment was not too great, a quiz night and a singer in the 7 days we stayed. Not many in the bar either, but it’s not a far walk to the resort, so we just went there in the evenings. Could have been the quieter time of year so probably not the same in high season. But they do turn any music off outside in the evenings, so no disturbance to rooms overlooking pool areas.
The staff across the whole hotel were friendly and they always smiled and acknowledged us, which is not surprising as the ones we spoke with, had nothing but praise for their manager, Geraldine, who is lovely too. Special thanks to her, for arranging to have the air con switched over from winter to summer so swiftly, due to the unusual hot spell we were having, as a few of us were finding it a little too warm in the rooms. We hope you keep doing whatever it is you do to keep the standards so high and the staff and guests so happy.
Thanks to you all for a lovely holiday experience and we will def be seeing you again soon!

We have just returned from the Aqua Suites hotel and cannot praise it enough. The staff were extremely nice, the food was fantastic and the whole place was exceptionally clean. The bedrooms are lovely with balconies big enough to have a table and chairs plus sun loungers and a parasol on. There was a kettle and coffee maker in the room with sachets of coffee, tea bags, sugar and milk. The bathroom was lovely with a selection of toiletries which were renewed when necessary.
We stayed half board and loved the way you were served at your table rather than having a buffet style. Breakfast consisted of fruit, cereal, meats, cheese, croissants etc then you ordered your cooked breakfast which was brought to your table. There was a toaster if you fancied toast and there was a selection of teas, fruit juices and coffee. At the evening meal you were given a choice of 4 starters, 4 main courses and 4 desserts. The hardest part was choosing what to eat because everything was delicious. The pool areas were spotlessly clean with plenty of comfortable sun beds and ample parasols. We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary the day we arrived at the hotel and they had kindly left a bottle of cava and two wine glasses in our room. There is a full sized fridge which had complimentary drinks in and each day you received a large bottle of water free of charge. It was approximately 10minutes down to the centre. Taxis were easy to get and not expensive. Bus service was very good. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would not have any hesitation in returning.

I really cannot fault this hotel or its staff, we stayed for 4 nights during the Corona Virus lockdown, Geraldine and her staff could not do enough for the guests, the rooms were immaculate, food choices for breakfast and dinner each night were varied and delicious, the bar staff, restaurant staff and chefs were always friendly, chatty and could do not do enough to make our stay comfortable during an extremely difficult time for everyone.
The staff went the extra mile for us,ordering taxi's for the airport, without us even asking, the chef making his amazing Onion rings which were not even on the menu, bar staff ordering certain drinks in that were not in stock.
We will definitely be back to stay and support the hotel and its staff in the near future, and thank them again for everything they did for us.......................Mick Paddys Day Refugee...

Aqua suites is a well run hotel with only a small number of rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean ours had direct access to the jacuzzi but you could have a higher room with its own sun-trap balcony.
Staff are friendly and helpful at all times. The hotel has a decent sized swimming pool, a small one for children, a jacuzzi and an outdoor gymnasium.
This hotel attracts a better class of clientele, as it costs a little extra. Most people opt for half board with a la carte dining, but well worth it.
When talking to most guests they have stayed here previously and that says a lot about this place.
You can stay in cheaper accommodation, in town, but it is worth reading the reviews - you really get what you pay for here!
