This was our first stop on a long and varied holiday and a great place to relax and get into the holiday mood. We had one of the larger chalets and although some of the decor was a little shabby, it was well equipped and offered great accommodation for four adults. Having stayed at Didima before we can vouch for... More

Stunning views of Cathedral Peak with lovely self contained chalets. They are modelled on San bushmen 'caves' (albeit spacious ones). Great to have numerous walks available right from your door. Alternatively, a short five minute drive gets you to the other main trail head, where your car is secure as there is a security guard right there. Wifi available at... More

The lodges are located in a beautiful area with stunning views. We stayed in a lodge with a nice fireplace, which you also need in the winter. The nights are very cold. The food in the restaurant is not that great. You can cook at your lodge. But if you enjoy good food then just take a five minute ride... More

We stayed in the campsite at Didima. Lovely views and the abultions are very clean. On the bad side, we had beggars from the local community turn up in the camp, no hot water in the showers/baths and loud music until 1am from other campers. We ate dinner at the Didima restaurant on Saturday night. The service was non-existant... waited... More

What a place! Whoa! Whoa! God's magnificent, wondrous and amazing miracles! The tranquility, peace and nature at it's best! Thatched and spacious rooms and minimal lights used to keep the place as natural as it's meant to be! Great staff. Though I couldn't do mountain climbing, but my friends had a blast

Didima camp is located absolutely fabulous. RIght in the middle of 3000m mountains where you have astonishing views. The lodges are really integrated in nature. Personnel is nice (not over nice), food is good (not overly done), breakfast is ok (if you like english and are on-time!!). The most negative aspect of Didima was the quality of the bathroom..... I... More

After hearing bad and good reviews about Didima, we decided to judge for ourselves and go for a couple of nights. First impression was good but after being there a while, started seeing all the faults which is such a pity as it has the potential of becoming a great place with the right management. We received a warm welcome... More

Stayed over at Didima over a weekend on returning from Midlands Meander. Good rooms, thatch roofed units looked recently refurb'ed. Was quiet and well maintained. Self catering options and also restaurant available for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Road into Didima was a bit concerning with small kids trying to open the car doors. Camp itself was safe with visible security.... More

Didima is a unique property, no doubt. Definitely a one of a kind and has a certain mystic magic about it. Reaching Didima is the most challenging aspect of this hotel and being prepared will reduce much anxiety. Also come prepared not to leave until you really, really have to. The 40 kilometers from Winterton takes about an hour to... More
