As title says this is a pretty basic site, quite level, mainly grass but with some hard standing. Toilets, showers, small laundry room and a couple of freezers complete the facilities. Turning into the site (just after the Bridge Inn is quite tight, a short drive and another tight 90 degree turn takes you to a small hard standing area,... More

We have just arrived back from this site and to pass on info for you out there as this site must be visited. On arrival at this site we were welcomed , the owner met us and sorted us a pitch by the river which runs through the site. The site is well maintained, with lots of picnic tables and... More

Stayed at this camp site over half term in may. Very friendly and peaceful site. Made even nicer by the river running through site. Level pitches and clean facilities. Would thoroughly recommend staying at site.

The site is beautiful and well maintained. Very clean facilities and helpful owner who seems very chilled. We had a fantastic time here, travelling with my two children and my friends two children. The kids had such a great time, all the children on the site played together really well in the river and on the grass. Yes it's a... More

We had a fabulous Bank Holiday weekend here. The generous pitch had space for 3 tents to accommodate our group of 6. It's a lovely spot, quiet and very well managed. Enough space to spread out. Highly recommended!

A group of us recently stayed at the camp site and had such a good day. We got a pitch by the river and the sun was shining. The facilities were clean and the owner seemed lovely, including his dog George who sat with us most of the day. We took a short stroll up the road in the evening... More

This campsite is set in beautiful surroundings right by the river and is easy access to stunning Wastwater. The pub is a 2 minute walk over the bridge. My only criticism is that the facilities could be slightly better. They are located in a stone building which in turn makes them very cold. Apart from that, I would return to... More

The site is small but a hidden gem in a fantastic area. The owner was very polite and friendly, greeting us on arrival in late August after a spell of bad weather we were offered a choice of pitches. The site is well kept level and extremely clean. The shower/toilet bocks are small but big enough for the site, as... More
