I stayed at the Three Tuns with friends when walking the Cleveland Way. The hotel has been recently renovated and looks very smart and fresh. All our party were very complimentary about their rooms and as we had our dog with us we were given the very spacious outside flat, complete with kitchen and lounge area. The staff were attentive... Went for Sunday lunch, rang first to make sure they had room as it can get very busy and sometimes have to turn people away. Very good beef and lamb, plus the mint sauce was best I've had. Went for a 3 mile local walk around Osmotherly, then went back for Lemon Posset, scrummy, and coffee. A lovely way to... More

Stayed here for 1 night whilst walking the 110 mile Cleveland Way. Lovely room, comfy bed and had some lovely roast cod and white wine before collapsing into that marshmallow bed....! Would definitely reccomend for a wee treat

Visited this pub on way home from a holiday and what a find it was. The staff were so helpful and caring, made our children's day. Most importantly the food was beautiful, we had 9 in our party and everyone loved their meal. Thank you three tuns for a wonderful end to our holiday.

There are three pubs/eateries in the village. We thought we would try them all and randomly chose The Three Tuns for the first night. We didn't try any of the others because the food and the service were out of this world. The lovely lady in charge and the lovely lady serving us treated us as returning friends rather than... More

Stayed here on the final leg of our cycling trip. While there was no lock up for bikes, they were pretty secure in the back yard/beer garden area with locks and tarpaulin. The room was very comfortable with a lovely shower and separate toilet room. Breakfast was excellent freshly cooked to order with quality ingredients - our party was split... More

Decided to try The Three Tuns for lunch today after a walk nearby. After asking if they had room for us and being told yes, we took a seat. We decided fairly quickly what we wanted to eat and duly waited for someone to come and take our order ... and waited. And waited. After ten minutes, my partner went... More

It was either Three Tons or Golden Lion for tea and we were advised to book in advance. We managed to get a table at Three Tons at short notice. The food I have to say was nice however the extremely long waits between each course and then to be told your order hadn't been out through was extremely disappointing.... More
