I have stayed in many hotels for both work and vacation but this is truely one of the most special places on the planet. A destination rather than a resort, it’s Spiritual, beautiful and luxurious, the staff work tirelessly to ensure your holiday is as seamless as possible.

Expensive? Sure. Worth it? Most certainly. This place is so stacked with picture perfect view you can stick up your hand just about anywhere and take a snap that will capture life in perpetuous relaxation. The food is first class, the friendliness of the staff second to none and the peace and tranquility make a church seem like a fancy fair. Paradise on earth is an often misused phrase - but is was most probably invented here. Take your chances and enjoy heaven here - at least they can never ever take it away from you!

Fantastic hotel for a complete chill out. Hilltop restaurant offers best views in Thailand - highly recommend waking up at sunrise and heading to the infinity pool on hilltop, incredible experience ! Food is outstanding, very well thought through menu at hilltop restaurant (Head Chef Dawa is one of the best we’ve ever come across), and breakfast similarly is hard to fault. Rooms all include a private plunge pool which is a lovely touch, but best of all is the GEM that comes with the room (Guest Experience Maker). This is a ‘butler’ that is on hand to support with any queries 24/7 - we had the pleasure of being acquainted with Kat who was incredibly attentive and helpful. We can’t wait to return, thank you to the Six Senses team !

Spent 8 days here and it was fantastic, wonderfull view from the villa, incredibly friendly staff hard to fault. In December there was only one resturant open in the evening not that it mattered as it was not busy. Never had lunch so can't comment, but dinner and the buffet breakfast were excellent. Very few tourists around at the hotel and also generally in Thailand. Never seen the international terminal at Bangkok so empty. Villa was well equiped and spacious, never used the plunge pool at the villa as it was too small for swimming nor the large swimming pool at Hilltop (prefer the sea.) There are two beaches one with loungers/sun shades which are set back in the grounds not on the beach, hardly anyone around had it all to ourselves. Did get some noise from building work nextdoor but that stopped after we complained. There is a shop outside the hotel where you can rent scooters which was very cheap. The island is small and you can see it all in two days . The resort is quite big and electric carts are operated by the staff all day/ evening if you prefer not to walk. In short would I go back ? YES.
