The SS koh Yao Noi is probably one of the best all around resorts we’ve ever stayed. From the amazing views of Phang-nga bay rocks seen from “hill top” of the resort to the wonderful room and top notched services, we were very happy with our 2 night stays here. We especially loved the breakfast buffet which although less in variety but high in quality and tastes. The hotel also offers quite a few activities such as picking fresh duck eggs from their organic farm to mangrove kayaking. Last but not least, we were so indulged with the complimentary delicious homemade ice cream! Highly recommended!
Stayed a few nights and in general was pleasent . Unique villa design - Robinson Crusoe style - with taste and care for the environment . Nice details and good service . Would just recommend to improve the black out curtains as you get the sun light 6 am in the morning and cannot sleep anymore . They offered me eye mask but sorry I don't like sleeping with eye mask , I guess would be better to improve the black out curtains design. Another negative point is u can't use the pool until 10.30 and only after 5.30 as the pool area is combined with the restaurant (?) Thanks
We have stayed widely at top hotels in Thailand (lucky us; I know..!😊) Like all high boutique hotels the SS hotels have a common theme; in the case of Six Senses it is exclusivity, calm and wellbeing. So if you are looking for an understated extravagance to leave you feeling healthier than you started, despite first class cooking and great cocktails look no further. Alicia Denning and her team run this haven with great care and charm for their private guests. Things like morning yoga, batik painting and getting up to watch the amazing sunrise go hand in hand with fab views from your bath (!) and a super cool bar along with master chef cooking and Six Senses own wines.
Six sense yao noi is probably having the best room design so far of all the hotels I’ve been. I stayed in beachfront pool villa. It’s spacious and practical. Every things you needed are in there and it somehow makes you feel even more comfortable than home! E.g. in-room yoga mats, aftersun pump bottle in dressing room, towel hanger for outdoor shower. But what’s great about this hotel isn’t just the room, but the butler service. We had K.Fang as our butler who is friendly, very responsive and caring. Our trip was complete under her care! Also, they have the newly renovated main pool with a nice panoramic view and neatly design interior. All-day complementary ice cream is a must to try to complete your trip. I highly recommend the banana flavor. :) Though the journey to the hotel is rough. It requires you to fly, then drive to port and boat transfer, it is truly remarkable trip. Especially with the price promotion right now, it is the hotel that must be on your list! I will surely be coming back again. (They also said second time visit you will get a different souvenir lol)…
I stayed at SS Yao Noi for 3 nights and it was for me a memorable stay : the view of Phang Nga was phenomenal. Facing to the view, you don’t need to do anything, just take a deep breath and relax, it is a pure happiness. Once in a lifetime, you have to stay here for the amazing view.
