Everything was perfect from start to finish. We are hard to please New Yorkers and have not one complaint. This place is heaven on earth. Go! and spend as much time there as possible.

Our “GEM” Tik was simply the best butler/concierge we have ever had, anywhere! She made our stay impeccable from start to finish, and her positive attitude and extreme efficiency always put a smile on our faces and made us feel well taken care of. It is often hard to strike a balance between being helpful and solicitous and also respecting a guest’s privacy. Tik walked this line gracefully, always popping up at the right moments and yet never lingering or invading our space. She went above and beyond to make us feel special and treated us as if we were family. It was very hard to leave her!

There is something here for everyone. If you are a resort person who prefers to stay on property, then you will get your fix. If you are like us and enjoy luxuries but also like some adventure, then there are wonderful day trips you can take (we explored local islands and also went to Phi Phi—highly recommended!). Our captain to Phi Phi, Sharif, was wonderful, as was his team.

We also rented a scooter and drove around the island and watched the sunset from a local fishing village, which was a great experience. If we had more time we’d spend more time on scooter exploring the island.

If you can, splurge on a Oceanview villa, but they are all great. We had a "Hideaway" villa which we also loved (we thought about switching once we got there, but were content and didn't feel like moving, so decided to stay).

Counting the days until we return!

Everything about Six Senses Yao Noi is top notch. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, ready to cater to your every need. If you want to go on excursions they will organize everything for you. If you want to relax at the Spa they will consult with you to find your ideal treatment. If you want to enjoy fine dining they will make it happen and all with a smile on their faces. The property itself is immaculately groomed with beautiful plants and flowers everywhere and the villas have everything you need to have a super relaxing stay.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed a private sunset BBQ dinner on a completely empty island, a private island hopping tour with snorkeling around an island full of impressive corals, an amazing Spa treatment (massage for me and facial for her), and a private kayaking trip into some of Thailand's impressive caves and lagoons. The whole experience was surrounded with hand-held travel planning that could not have gone smoother. Highly recommended and would definitely visit again!

This is the time to visit. Based on deals being offered to local residents used this opportunity to book a 2 night stay. Booked a hideaway villa and was upgraded to ocean view villa.Right from the initial enquiry the communication was clear and concise.
We booked our own transfers and was well coordinated by the resort on pick up and drop off at the pier.
The views are best i have come across any hotel stay around the world. The staff are extremely hospitable. The rooms are spotless and the facilities like buggy transfer, spa are of the highest standard.
The hilltop area is amazing at sunrise and sunset with the pool in the middle. The menu options were limited due to covid.
Had a great time photographing birds specially the hornbills all around
One of the most memorable stays. A big thanks to all the team at six senses yao noi

The definition of understated luxury! A home away from home where I felt looked after from start to finish!

I spent an incredible 5 nights at the Six Senses Yao Noi. My Ocean View Villa was very spacious. There was a good sized plunge pool along with covered outdoor seating on the deck overlooking both the tropical surrounds as well as the sea and pier. The bedroom with king sized bed had floor to ceiling windows that can be fully opened up to the elements. From the bedroom you walk through to the spacious bathroom with a deep bath and double vanity unit as well as wardrobe, indoor shower and toilet all separate. Further on you walk out to the outdoor shower! Wood is the main element that adorns the entire villa in keeping with the property’s natural surrounds. Complimentary “home made” bathroom amenities are provided along with anything else you might need, from Aloe Vera gel to coconut oil. Just one of the things that highlights the resort’s commitment to sustainability.

Our GEM who looked after us during our stay, accompanied us to our room once we landed at the pier and completed check in formalities there. She also acknowledged the dietary requirements I provided in advance, which is something rare in my experience. Many hotels will ask for dietary requirements but rarely act on them.

The resort has a very relaxed feel and is a big part of what makes it special. From the private beach area to the swimming pool at the Hilltop, there are many places where you can relax and enjoy panoramic views and nature itself. The hotel offers a multitude of activities and organises trips to visit neighbouring islands for those who want to. The Spa menu is extensive and the staff can create bespoke programmes that match your needs.

Everything here is bespoke to each individual. For me this was most prominent when it came to food! Dining was an absolute treat. We enjoyed a la carte dining at the Hilltop restaurant. Yes, there is a menu but the chef could adjust things based on dietary requirements. Similarly, we enjoyed a wonderful set menu at the communal (maximum 6 guests) chef’s table where Vikram made an excellent job designing a menu that met the group’s palette and requirements. Breakfast was served at the Dining Room and included both a la carte options and extensive buffet options with different stations, from noodles to eggs, to fruit to breads!

The area by the Hilltop restaurant offers spectacular panoramic views across the bay and it’s where the resort’s swimming pool is located. A great space to relax and rejuvenate!

Last but not least, the staff throughout the resort have been incredible; friendly, attentive and always helpful. I can’t wait to return!

My two daughters and I had a wonderful luxurious six days at Six Senses. You cannot beat the view from there ! The food is amazing and the staff is incredibly attentive. We loved collecting the eggs from the chickens, took a bike ride around the island, had an amazing flying yoga class and had a couple of great treatments. Our one complaint is that the Pi Pi island day trip we booked was rather expensive and should really have included lunch and drinks for that price. But I would definitely seek out other Six Senses resorts in my future travel for the commitment they have to sustainability and the education and support they give to the surrounding community.

Hardly ever write reviews but I felt compelled to after our incredible stay at Six Senses Yao Noi. After being met directly at the airport by Six Senses staff, we were driven to their marina in a resort van (equipped with WiFi and complimentary water). At the marina we met more Six Senses staff who were generous, accommodating and incredibly friendly. This is a theme that you'll find with every single staff member that you meet at the Six Senses, from the resort manager (thank you Alicia) to our GEM (thank you Ma) to the groundkeepers, wait staff and everyone else - we were always treated with incredible positivity and generosity. Everybody went out of their way to make us feel at home.

We booked through the Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts program, and were upgraded to "The View" villa. This villa is fantastic beyond belief. There's a huge bed looking out over the beautiful sea, with both wonderful sunrise (direct) and sunset (reflection on the limestone pillars) vistas. We also got our own private infinity pool, netted bed, bar, huge bathroom, along with a variety of other really amazing touches including a waterfall and a theater room.

The grounds are pristine, with a really convenient buggy service and a variety of restaurants serving up fantastic meals. From Western to European to Indian, everything was delicious. We didn't take any excursions but we didn't need to, we had our own little piece of paradise right in our villa.

Many thanks to the staff of Six Senses Yao Noi, we can't wait to return!

We live in Dubai and are lucky since 10 years to try some nice 5 star hotels in the region and Asia. This hotel was going to be the highlight of our holidays but unfortunately it was the opposite.
Positive points:
Beautiful swimming pool, nice environment inside and outside the hotel. Loved the Den cafe as it is in a very very amazing environment and a very cozy place with wonderful staff.
We loved the spa and this is the only reason for rating 3.
Negative points:
The villa we had (I think number 1 or 2) was in a very closed environment, sky was the only open view we had. Surrender by lot of tall trees. We complained to get a villa with an open view, as what you can see on the pictures of trip advisor but we were asked to pay extra 400$ Per night. Which of course we declined as the villa they made us visit was a little bit better open view but nothing extraordinary.
The hotel is old and you can see it also on the faded cushions in the restaurant where you take your breakfast.
There is a small beach but during high tide it gets covered. So nothing special about it.
Room service was not great either. The food that we had was cleared and put outside the villa and collected only the next night after asking several times! Even the butler was informed several times and at last the buggy who collected us for the next day dinner is the one who cleared the dishes or sent someone for it as we complained to him.

Overall a disappointing experience and not worth the money. I guess that maybe the positive comments are coming from people who were lucky enough to have nice villas. But the two villas we visited were not worth and no sea view.

Dear MilredS, Thank you for your recent stay and for the feedback given as well as for your praise to our Spa and the Team at the Den Bar. Please let me apologize that your stay was not as expected in regards to the view from your room and food collection services. We do offer a range of room types with different views. Especially during periods of high occupancy, we do ask for understanding that we will honor the room types booked by our guest and the possibility of upgrade to higher categories with expanded view is limited by availability. There are two beaches accessible direct from resort for guests to experience. Is uncommon to be entirely covered during high tide however at periods when tide at peak in month (usually around full moon) can occasionally occur. Thank you for remarks in relation to cushions at breakfast outlet and food pick up and please rest assured that we are taking all your feedback as opportunity improve and hope to welcome you back one day. With kind regards, Stefan Zich Resort Manager

AMAZING PLACE Our favourite of the six senses we have visited
Just spent 10 nights here and could have stayed longer.
We used the hotel limo transfer from Phuket airport to their jetty then speedboat to the island which was seamless and gives a great view of the ‘forest of islands’
The resort is beautiful, quiet, secluded, you could imagine there are no other guests there when in your villa.
We had a hideaway villa which was amazingly spacious, and well equipped.
All staff from arrival to departure, management, hosts, restaurant staff, fitness, beach, buggy drivers, gardeners are so genuinely friendly, helpful and courteous that the whole experience was a pleasure. You are assigned to a GEM (general experience manager) who checks with you every day, and organises restaurant and experience bookings, time you want ice delivered to the room etc.
The food in all restaurants was superb, breakfast probably the best we’ve ever had, and served until 11am which lets you do the gym etc before without rushing.
There is complimentary yoga at 8am everyday in an open air pavilion, an extremely well equipped gym. Private lessons in various aspects of yoga and fitness available and a lovely spa.
Activities include kayaking, long boat trips around the forest of islands and ‘James Bond Island’, tuk tuk island tours, cycling tours ( also complimentary use of bikes for you to self guide)
There are 2 beaches, a roped off section for swimming which felt safe although there was a day with jellyfish which we were warned about. As all villas have a private pool there is only one communal pool, at the Hilltop, with a gorgeous infinity pool and stunning views of the surrounding islands. If I was being really picky then my only suggestion for improvement would be to make this adults only.
I could go on but basically, we will definitely return, recommend it wholeheartedly.
Regardless of facilities, staff can make or break a resort and I can honestly say that every member was amazing, special thanks to Alicia (hope you’re still married after Lindt gate!), and Walter (we love Switzerland really!)

If you are thinking of booking here you will not be disappointed. There isn’t one thing I can fault. From the very welcome you receive and being looked after right through to the end of your stay. The customer service is special. The attention to detail and memory of your name what you prefer at breakfast what room you are staying in is lovely and all of the staff were amazing. Margie was our personal GM and she really made our holiday, she took care of everything we wanted to do inside the hotel and outside of it, no ask was too much.

If you can do the private or semi private tour to phi phi it’s a must!! It’s my favourite day trip I’ve done on a holiday. The hotel organises it with their own staff and the boat is lovely, comfortable and spacious when it’s just you or you + another couple. No taxis to a port you leave from the hotels pier and arrive back in time for dinner.

The room is beautiful, the bathroom is stunning and the outside shower is a lovely touch. The rooms are kept spotless aswell as the outside pool area.

The main pool area is breath taking, the views you can’t get bored of looking at, the decor of the hotel even down to the bathrooms are so unique, natural but high end at the same time. I love the design of it and how it’s also tried to be at one with the nature rather than take over it to build. Extremely eco friendly.

The food is incredible, it is pricey compared to what you can get outside of the hotel but it is cooked to perfection and we thought it was worth every penny. They grow a lot of their own produce on site even down to the mushrooms. The chefs and mangers are very friendly and make a point of coming to have a conversation with you every evening or breakfast which is nice.

I’d recommend getting a moped and going around the island to explore, me and my bf done it every day, it’s just so beautiful and has a charm that hasn’t been heavily hit by tourism. The shops and restaurants are worth a visit too. Kin Ds restaurant in particular is one of the best local Thai food restaurants I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to Thailand 4 times. This island is a little gem and I already know we will return again at some point.

A big Thankyou to the hotel and staff for making our holiday so perfect!! Everything was 10/10 and we hope to see you again in the future :-D

Sinead and Remy

Six sense yao noi is probably having the best room design so far of all the hotels I’ve been. I stayed in beachfront pool villa. It’s spacious and practical. Every things you needed are in there and it somehow makes you feel even more comfortable than home! E.g. in-room yoga mats, aftersun pump bottle in dressing room, towel hanger for outdoor shower. But what’s great about this hotel isn’t just the room, but the butler service. We had K.Fang as our butler who is friendly, very responsive and caring. Our trip was complete under her care!

Also, they have the newly renovated main pool with a nice panoramic view and neatly design interior. All-day complementary ice cream is a must to try to complete your trip. I highly recommend the banana flavor. :)

Though the journey to the hotel is rough. It requires you to fly, then drive to port and boat transfer, it is truly remarkable trip. Especially with the price promotion right now, it is the hotel that must be on your list! I will surely be coming back again. (They also said second time visit you will get a different souvenir lol)
