We have been twice to this quiet and homely resort managed by Dagmar and her team..Spacious bungalows on the sea front on an unspoilt island off Phuket. The beach is not the best but i think over all the experience of the island and the resort are memorable.

Beautiful undeveloped setting, remote and on the edge of a lovely wide beach with hammocks to enjoy the views to the mainland. Food was great and the German host was extremely thorough, helpful and attentive throughout our stay (maybe a little too much so at times). We saw massive monitor lizards and the dawn chorus was a great cacophany of...

Thank you so much for your lovely comments on our location and staff. Koh Yao Noi is one of the less developed islands in this area, particularly compared with neighbouring Phuket. We do not have as robust an infrastructure as Phuket or Krabi, and so we occasionally experience water shortages and power cuts. As well, March, when you were here,...

I stayed here for a relaxed week and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Lom Lae resort is at the end of a small dead end road and therefor very quiet. The cottages are very nice and kept very clean. It's on the beach and even from the second row of bungalows it's a one minute walk to a hammock, where you can...

We stayed here for two nights just before Christmas, excellent helpful staff, Eco friendly bungalows, the provided torch was a must have! Safe swimming beach for children, wonderful dawn & night views across the bay towards multiple small islands. Downside was the food, we only eat one evening meal here and it was terrible, breakfast was much better! Have to...

The best thing with the place is the friendly staff and relaxing environment. The major drawback is the price! We paid 4500 pr. night which is too high with respect to comparable quality in Thailand. We had also to pay 2500 ppx for attending the compulsory christmas eve. party. Although food was good for families with small children, it was...

Remember the old days in Thailand, when no A/C bungalows were available and it took a couple of days to adjust to dark and wooden bungalows with straw roofs? Well this is such a place twenty years on. Don't get me wrong, I am prepared to renounce my regular comfort and used to staying in basic bungalows with no A/C,...

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of a two week trip to Thailand. It was exactly what we needed, total relaxation. Don & Dagmar were so kind, helpful and friendly, nothing was too much to ask. The food was amazing, the best we had in Thailand, I am still dreaming of the rice soup. The island was...

Nice setup, interesting decoration and habitat, polite and helpful managers, nice local food. Beach was ok,but we were warned about the abundance of sting rays,so beware. Also the tide change was dramatic. Lots of animals around (bets were very loud and kept us awake for a night), among which most impressive were the giant monitor lizards (harmless, impressive size). This is the accommodation option...

We stayed here beginning of april with our 2 year old twins. Lom Lae is a resort that has been able to stay simple, it has everything you need but stays basic. All the bungalows are different, decoration is basic, no aircon here but good old fans and sea breeze. The beach is nice with beautiful views of phang nga...
