With so many increasingly crowded, dirty and noisy Thai island resorts Koyao Bay Pavillions was a rare find. This is not a huge, busy resort but a small, stylish and secluded destination place. The view from the beach was stunning and we were able to hire kayaks for the day. You could spend an entire day just lazing in a hammock and taking in the scenery whilst watching the sea eagles flying overhead.
The accommodation top notch with incredibly comfortable beds in air conditioned bedrooms. An open living space completed our villa and gave us and our two teenagers the space we needed with the added value of privacy.
James, the manager was charming, funny and able to provide plenty of assistance and ideas on things to do around the island.
The restaurant La Sala was absolutely divine - some of the best dishes I have eaten in my many visits to Thailand. The staff were absolutely lovely, genuine and helpful in many ways.
Plenty of birdlife and wildlife in lush surroundings.
A must for travellers who enjoy getting away from the crowds!

Had a pleasant 3 night stay in one of the villas with family. We enjoyed the relaxing pace, clean and quiet beach and wonderful staff. The food at the restaurant is delicious, highly recommend eating there. We even had them bring a meal to our villa for a private family dinner, a nice touch.

The place is very clean, comfortable and has all the amenities you need. Good kitchenette, a/c, nice large rooms with good beds, wifi, comfy lounge chairs, and nice pools.

The staff were very helpful and can organize tours, scooters, pick-up/drop-off, you name it just ask and they are willing to help. We went in one excursion organized through them, very enjoyable.

We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend.
Thank Tron

After spending time in Singapore and then a large resort hotel in Phuket, we were surprised at the simplicity of Koh Yao Bay Pavilions. There’s no lavish reception area and the walk to the villas is totally unmanicured.....the first time we had experienced staying in such a place. However the peace and quiet of the new and stylish villa won us over, followed soon after by the fabulous food in the restaurant. The staff made us so welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy our time on the island. Theres a comfortable, natural simplicity to this place which is so enticing. Thank you James, George and B for making us so welcome. You make a great team and we appreciate all that you did for us!

This is a wonderful, calm, peaceful resort, with amazing food, delightful staff and an incredible setting. Highly recommended. If you are a couple, go for one of the beach suites, which has an amazing outdoor "sala" where you can while away your days!

We booked this holiday back in March and using reviews on trip advisor we narrowed down our options until we settled on here. We are so glad that this place came out on top. We selected a beach suite, which provides us with a lovely spacious bedroom, a separate Thai Sala (large lounge area that is open to the sides but has a roof) and a swimming pool shared only with two other beach suites. We were right next to the beach also so could listen to the lovely sound of the waves breaking on the sand. We were welcomed when we arrived by the manager James and offered a welcome drink while our bags were taken to our suite. We ate at the hotel restaurant most nights and can’t fault the food or the service. They have both Thai and Mediterranean options on the menu. We hope to be able to come back to Thailand again and will definitely stay here.
Thank Claire S
