It's the perfect place to relax. The view oft he sunrise is sensational. The friendly owner couple are very helpful with tips and recommendations. The best option to discover the island is by scooter or bicycle, which are available for rent at the resort.
I actually wished I would never leave this place & the island. The bungalows (we changed two, all agreed in advance) are nice, clean, comfortable, located well in the trees so that the feeling of privacy is perfect but far from being isolated. The hosts kind and always available. They can arrange scooters, private tours to neighbouring island and the transportation to the longboat piers. Breakfasts simple but nice, they also serve delicious food for dinner. The views from bungalows is great, especially during sunrise. The island itself is getting touristic but it’s still far from many other overcrowded places in Thailand and you can really relax here. With some effort you can find nice beaches, drive along rubber-tree plantations and fishermen villages. No lack of restaurants with good food and fruit smoothies. If you want some quite side of Thailand, this is the right place for you.…
Houses are really great and we recommend everyone to stay here! they are decorated with taste, are very intimate and surrounded by beautiful plants which ensures privacy and comfort. The hotel is run by extremely friendly people who will help in dealing with every case - starting with giving advice what to see on the island, by organizing transport and doing laundry.
We spent 5 nights at Hill House in February 2020. Our bungalow (Glang 2) had a terrific view over the bay and the limestone islands. A hammock on the veranda made sure we could spend many hours gazing at that view. Breakfasts were lovely - mango sticky rice with another little treat each morning followed by fruit, toast and coffee. We also had evening meals there as they were so nice. The owners arranged a fantastic trip round the islands for us as well as hiring out bikes which we used to visit different parts of the islands. A wonderful stay in a wonderful location. Highly recommended
Four Years ago we were here for 5 days and because we loved it so much with Don and Raw, their very nice place and the island (and surroundings!) we wanted to come back. This year we did and it was fantastic again. We had the Yai bungalow with a great view, very nice to leave the doors open at night (during daytime also actually, this is possible here!). But their other bungalows are very good also. The bungalow is very clean and the bed has a good mosquito net. The terrace is huge with a nice hammock and a place to sit, and again this beautiful view. One of our days we saw three hornbills just in front of our terrace, what an experience! It is very nice to lay in your hammock and see the beautiful sunrise (okay you have to be awake early for this, but if you are, enjoy it!). With the two fans (one fixed at the ceiling near the bed and the other replaceable) you do not need aircon. The bed is very soft, especially for Thai standards, and the mattress has two sides (one more soft than the other). Don and Raw are very, very friendly people who do all their best to help you in anyway, transport, boat tours, nice places to go to (also spa's and fishfarms), hiring motorbike, splendid food, nice talk. We had a very good breakfast also and I always remember the sticky rice with mango, so delicious. And even better enjoying breakfast and dinner with the view you have here at the Andaman sea and the islands in front of you.…
