Great small resort. Rooms are spotless (and refreshed at least once per day - after being made up). We had a third floor balcony room which although no dedicated pool provided a good view out to the islands and caught the breeze nicely. Breakfast pretty good. Restaurant probably underrated as guests often go out to dinner and when in house seemed often to order western dishes - we found their Thai menu items were pretty good. Pool area, pavillion and beach facility are the special highlight of this property (the pool is every bit as good as it looks in the pictures) and offer some world class views. Olivier looked after us brilliantly - thank you.

The hotel is recommended by a friend. It’s not perfect, but live up to our expectations. Staff are friendly and sweet. They wrote us a card in handwriting to congratulate on our anniversary together with a cake. Btw, the cake tasted very good, and we ended up eating too much! The girl at the reception made good recommendation on local restaurants. We booked a pool villa, with a bit sea view from the back. The room was comfortable, and decoration was classic. The bed was very comfortable, not too soft or hard. Window curtains were made of linen. You can ask for disposable slippers, which seemed to be made of the same comfortable and natural material. To protect environment, the hotel provides reusable slippers. If you don’t bring toothbrushes, you can ask for disposable

Dear Legrel, Thank you for your very constructive and balanced review of your visit to Cape Kudu Hotel, Koh Yao Noi and for stating your intention to return. In a tropical climate it is always advisable to keep food in the fridge or in firmly sealed containers. There are many styles of toilet and flushing systems available and we are sorry if the one installed in your accommodation was slower than you are used to. Your second point regarding the ‘machine’, I suspect refers to the whirlpool spa pump. Again we are very sorry if that inconvenienced you. When the blue-tooth speakers flicker it is to indicate that the system is not fully switched off. May I suggest that, on your next visit, you ask one of our staff to demonstrate the system to you? We naturally want you to enjoy a perfect night’s sleep and we will do all we can to ensure that you do. We look forward to seeing you both back with us again in the future At Cape and Kantary Hotels, we actively support SOS Children’s Villages and the Thai Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. We do not serve foie gras, birds’ nest or shark’s fin in our restaurants and we also stand firmly against the exploitation of Thai elephants for commercial or entertainment purposes. Cape Kudu Hotel - very beautiful, fresh and well maintained cute boutique hotel with good service in relaxing, peaceful surroundings. A great base to explore other Islands on a Long-tail boat, chill & escape. Paradise! Highly recommend chatting to Olivier (Manager) who has excellent knowledge of the activities & how to best experience all the Island has to offer. Our 4 Island Tour on our first day made the trip extremely memorable, cannot recommend this enough. We also cycled using the free hotel bikes all around the island (one long road) a great experience but hilly and good exercise. The Hotel room was stunning & clean with beautiful views & well positioned looking out to sea. Sun loungers by the pool were comfy & cool, pool temperature was perfect! Our lunch and breakfasts

This hotel has amazing views, but it's not a five-star resort. The rooms are adequate, and clean, but nothing special. Whoever thought of white cloth cushions in both the room and at the poolside missed the mark. The cloth chaises at the poolside are actually dirty, and this hotel is only two years old. The staff is generally efficient, but they are missing some of the extra effort we experienced in other five-star hotels in Thailand. Also, some of the staff at the front desk and the restaurant do not speak/understand English well, causing several instances of confusion which was not the case at other five-star hotels in Thailand. There was a small house lizard in our room for two nights. We called the front desk, and they sent someone up immediately who attempted to

Dear George, We thank you for your generally positive views on your visit to Cape Kudu Hotel, Koh Yao Noi. We apologise for the dirty mark on one of the chairs; our staff check all the furniture regularly for signs of wear and this particular mark may have appeared since the last check was made. On receiving your review we have immediately instigated an up-to-date check. Allow me to point out that we recruit our staff locally as our contribution the economy of this charming little island and some may still lack confidence a little in their use of English. However, I believe that they are making a genuine effort to improve themselves. The geckos are part of the natural tropical environment and are quite harmless, I assure you. However, we accept that some people may be uncomfortable in their presence and we will look into further ways of dealing with that particular situation without risk of harm to the animals themselves. We are very grateful for your final words of praise despite the initial reservations that you mention and we sincerely hope that, on reflection, you may wish to visit us again. You will both be very welcome. At Cape and Kantary Hotels, we actively support SOS Children’s Villages and the Thai Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. We do not serve foie gras, birds’ nest or shark’s fin in our restaurants and we also stand firmly against the exploitation of Thai elephants for commercial or entertainment purposes. We spent a week at Cape Kudu over late December / early January, while travelling around Asia. Having been in Singapore and Bangkok prior, Koh Yao Noi, and in particular Cape Kudu, was paradise and it was absolutely the highlight of our trip. Our days generally started with a delicious breakfast feast, followed by some time at the pool, a bike ride exploring the island (complimentary bikes are available from the hotel), Thai lunch on the beach, a beach massage and and then dinner at the hotel - all our meals there were delicious! The hotel itself is gorgeous, the pool more magnificent in real life, the views are spectacular and the island is authentic and retains real Thai charm. A special mention must be made of Timo, Olivier and their team, who truly go out of their way to
