We have not been here for many years since living in Nairobi as kids and coming down here 3 x a year! It is still the same amazing place - we should have stayed here but in our day there were no rooms. Great welcome, friendly service, nothing too much trouble. We had lunch which was delicious! The beach is...

Within five steps of entering the bar, you are overcome by this incredible sense of place, and oceanic activity. It could be the vastness of the cavern-like interior. It could be the hum of the people at the bar and others seared at tables scattered around the windows. It could be the waiters ferrying and endless supply of food and...

Using Callum one of the top deep sea fishing experts we spend a half day with his team fishing off up to 10 rods. This was our first deep sea fishing experience and his team did all the hard work and then we reeled the fish in. The boat had cover which is important so you don't fry in the...

The best part about Ocean sports was the lounge and bar area. There was always a lovely breeze and we could sit here for hours admiring the view and being in the shade. With no windows, it felt like we were outside all the time. If we chose to, we could order a drink or food, but were under no...

We came for lunch and I was impressed with the menu. Definitely recommend the fisherman's lunch to share. Delicious! And lovely to chat to the manager who came around to greet us. They organised a boat trip and snorkel. Felt very safe and well organised. Not hassled by beach sellers either.

First visit was in November 2014, second visit this January for few days fishing. Ocean Sports provided panoramic view of the Indian Ocean as we quenched our thirst, watching the sunset from the deck chatting about the one that got away with friends new & old . Ocean Sport Resort is a specialist accommodation is perfectly suited for all kinds...

I went a few times during my time in Watamu. It's a nice place with fantastic waterfront. Have a drink and walk on the beach. They have free wifi which was nice. The food was average overall but I did like the breakfast and the fish and chips.

My mates and i recently spent 7 Nights at Oceans Sports on a fishing expedition. The resort is well located right on the beach in Watamu. a little rustic, the rooms were perfect for us, cozy and comfortable. Our only comment to enhance their rooms would be to increase the water pressure in the showers, other than that it was...

Just spent three glorious days here. It is still a uniquely lovely and captivating place to stay. Simple clean rooms, superb local fish and other fresh produced served in the restaurant, friendly and very helpful staff. Great Dive center, possibly the best beach on the Kenyan coast... What more do you need to while away the time at the beach?

Have been coming to Ocean Sports for 15 or so years. It hasn't changed much (except for a change of ownership and refurbishment about 10 years ago) and that is very much part of its charm. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bar / restaurant terrace is a seriously relaxing place and you can while away hours just watching...

Frequented by a loyal following of East African residents and savvy overseas guests, many consider this being their second home.Located 20km south of Malindi Airport, within the protected Watamu Marine Reserve, our 30 rooms, suites and self catered cottage overlook Kenya's favorite, white sand beach. Our outdoor, ocean-side deck dinning venue is simply stunning! Freshly caught, sustainable seafood and local organic produce, inspired our French chef, Florian's new mouth watering menu choices. Delicious stone-oven piazzas and a 'daily specials' board, ensure something for all. Nature will nourish your soul! Our 14 acre plot boasts indigenous African fauna and wildlife that includes monkeys, bird-life and night bush babies. Low-tide reveals rock pool aquariums of sea life, crabs and even King George, our grumpy resident Moray eel! Turtles, dolphins and whales are observed further out to sea.Our name reflects our love of ocean activity and adventure. Deep sea fish with our professional charter boats to experience adrenalin hook ups. Blue water dive over sparkling coral reefs, all organized by our PADI scuba centre.
