I stayed in five star and boutique hotels, but this was a luxury. My room was spacious, its color scheme was pleasant. The bed was like made for Goldilocks - neither too hard nor too soft. The food was good home cooking and no waste was incurred. The hotel is located on a hill overlooking a mangrove forest. At night you can see the Milky Way from there. What made staying at Eagle Camp special was the people, I felt like I had been visiting a relative and not at the Hotel.

I stayed here while traveling from malindi to watamu via mida creek to kilifi. Tucked away from the main road it is situated right at the mangrove. A wide spacious terrain. They have clean spacious rooms in either the main building or the other building, which is their ‘treehouse’ (its build around a tree). The have a newly opened (big) swimming pool, there’s a gym, a fire pit, outside dining area and you can walk from their terrain to the boardwalk which is a hanging bridge walking path trough the mangrove. ( I would recommend doing that during sunset, stunning views). They serve breakfast when you stay there. Drinks and dinner and lunch are also available. Also suitable for traveling families and friends since you could share rooms if you want to.
