hi so wanted to give a feedback on our stay first and foremost before u take peoples money let them know what their getting in return we ddnt pay to stay in the dark whenever you please! how do you cut electricity of your clients? are you guys serious the staff was nice but the management was just horrible. as to which we have decided to post everywhere and write and give reviews so that people know what their paying.

Dear Mrs Sameera, we are really sorry for your very negative review. In all honesty we believe we have made a great effort to compensate you. As you may remember, you and your friend had booked, and paid, for sharing a double Standard room in the reception area. We decided to assign you two single Mapango superior rooms instead, near the pool the beach and the restaurants, without charging neither the 1200 Ksh per person per night supplement nor the 30% extra for the single occupancy. Also, your daily room service has not been added to your bills. Even knowing that all of this, multiplied for the 4 nights of your stay, would have been a loss for us, we decided to do it because we wanted to reward you for the inconvenience caused by the power supplier with a significant discount. Besides, in a couple of occasions we have even adjusted the timing of the generator to suit your personal needs and we were really hoping that our goodwill would have been appreciated.

We had a very a very pleasant stay at Lily Palm. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, which was nice. We went out of peak season, so it was very quiet. The complex is clean, has a nice pool and access straight onto the beach. There is a nice Italian restaurant on site, but also some local restaurants on the beach as well which serve great seafood, and other nice places to eat within walking distance in town. The rooms are okay, maybe a little tired looking, but for the price we paid, we have no complaints. The bed was fine, and the Aircon worked, so we were content! We were on b&b rate - the breakfast was a little disappointing, and instant coffee was served rather than fresh...but again, for the price of this hotel we can't really complain. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. I would happily return.…

I stayed here for 4 nights in Oct 2020. Very nice place. The pool is awesome, with pool for kids and an infinite pool overlooking the beach. The new owners/management have done miracles in trying to bring the hotel back in shape, and while they still have a way to go, they are on the right track. Not easy in quiet Corona times.... The beach is amazing, the walks to the rocks super-cool. The food is great. The rooms have A/C and a fridge and are clean, though still a bit of work to do in bringing these up to the "VIP" standards. Lovely massage available. and the location is magic, close to all services we need: shops and restaurants. I would definitely come back, and wish the new owners/managers success the further refurbishment. Grazie mille, Valerio! Wim

I visited this place on my first solo travel and it was AWESOME! They have a clear blue pool overlooking the beautiful blue waters of Watamu. And with them, what you see is what you get; what you see on their profiles is EXACTLY what you will see on arrival. The rooms were spacious and of importance had air conditioning and a fan too, with the heat that is there, a definite plus. Watamu is mostly populated by older Italians who stay in the hotels there permanently, and so with this the amazing and friendly stuff are more than happy to receive one of their own! Waliniambia nilipo wasili kuwa Watamu kuna utamu, na hawakudanganya ng'o! A DEFINITE on your travel to-do list!

My friends and I got the wrong rooms despite booking months in advance, a situation that could not be remedied despite our complaints. Impersonal service, terrible food. The only thing great about Lily Palm is their location as its on the bay. Literally the worst.

The hotel is unfriendly for non Italians.No local cuisines limited food varieties.Poor customer service especially at the reception the whites are treated better soo disappointed considering this is our country. Would not recommend the place for non Italians. Only good thing is the ocean view.

We were happy with the restaurant team my sisters birthday was well organizedand the suprise was amazing.Lovely beautiful Jane was friendly and one tall slender waiter dark in complexion cant recall the name...Lilian at the receotion was amazing David did our resrvation very professional.And the night shift receptionists 2men...thy really helped on changing our room.134 floor was not clean but the bed was beautifully decorated.The food was DELICIOUS lovely place to be..Thank you
