Als Wein-Liebhaber haben wir die wunderbaren Weissweine dieser Region sehr genossen. Dieses brandneue Hotel ist modern mit schönem Design aber gleichzeitig sehr warm und mit viel Charme. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und die gute Atmosphäre hat uns sogar das etwas kühlere Wetter vergessen gemacht. Die Lavastein-Massage war herrlich!

Több száz, különböző fórumokon és site-okon megjelent értékelés után zavarban vagyok, mert nem tudom, hogyan értékeljem a Bonvino szállodát és éttermet. Zavaromat tükrözi az is, hogy jelen értékelésemet magyarul írom, nem akarom világgá kürtölni ellenérzéseimet, mivel szerintem nem érdemli meg ez a szálloda, ahol végül is jól éreztük magunkat. Helyzetemet az is nehezíti, hogy korábban a Mala Gardenben voltunk Siófokon (értékelés angolul megtalálható), ahol igen magasra helyezték a mércét. A Bonvino kiváló mintája annak a hazai realitásnak, hogy a legkiválóbb ötleteket, elképzeléseket és megvalósított terveket hogyan lehet apró figyelmetlenségekkel, nemtörődömségekkel porig rombolni.
Az ellentmondások már a foglalás során jelentkeztek. Előre megvásárolt kupon birtokában telefonon érdeklődtem a lehetőségekről. A vonal másik végén azonnal jelentkező hölgy kedvesen, udvariasan közölte, hogy az általam megjelölt időpontban van szabad kapacitásuk, a foglalást rögzítette, azzal kapcsolatban nincs további teendőnk, szeretettel várnak bennünket. Ez idáig kiváló. Sajnos azt is hozzátette, hogy a foglalást e-mailen hamarosan visszaigazolják, melyet a mai napig nem kaptuk meg.
A szállodába érkezve a bejelentkezés gyorsan, problémamentesen megtörtént. A recepciós úrtól a szükséges információkat kissé unott stílusban, de megkaptuk. A szoba tökéletesen rendben volt. Mintaszerű tisztaság, kellemes design, kényelmes francia ágy, szükséges bútorzat normál méretű erkély. Kellemes meglepetés volt a szekrény ruhatartó rúdjában elhelyezett, nyitásra automatikusan kapcsolódó világítás (csillagos ötös!), és a jól hozzáférhetően helyen lévő nagyméretű szobaszéf. Eddig kiváló!
A fürdőszoba ajtót kinyitva először kellemetlen csatorna szagot lehetett érezni, amely tartózkodásunk alatt végig megmaradt. A fürdő mérete minimális, design, tisztaság rendben, felszereltség kevésbé. Kevés a rakodóhely (csupán egy végigfutó, csempézett polc található), papír törlőkendő sem volt, a WC-ből folyamatosan csordogált a víz, a csúcsot mégis az eredetileg fényes külsejű, de akkorra már teljesen elkoszolódott szemetesvödör jelentette, (ld. fényképen) mely egy 4 csillagos szállodában már a szörnyű kategória.
Mivel az általunk választott csomag félpanziós ellátást tartalmazott, és a rossz idő miatt egyszer az ebédet is a szállodában fogyasztottuk, volt alkalmunk az étteremmel kapcsolatban is tapasztalatokat szerezni. Minden étkezés büfé (svédasztalos) rendszerű volt. Reggelinél és vacsoránál a választék és az ételek íze, fűszerezettsége általában rendben volt. A jó ízt sajnos sokszor nem lehetett élvezni, mivel a sült-, főtt ételek hőmérséklete jó esetben is csak langyos, de inkább hideg volt. Dicséretet érdemel viszont a rendkívüli választékot kínáló borlap. Szinte a régió összes borát tartalmazta, kiegészítve az országos prémium borászatok kínálatával. Kapható volt több tételes borkóstoló is gondosan válogatott választékkal. Kiemelt említést érdemel a külön fröccslap, melyen az általam ismertnél is bővebb választék található. Csak ezért a szolgáltatásért is érdemes néhány éjszakát itt tölteni. Az étteremben példás gyorsasággal vitték el a használt tányérokat és evőeszközöket. Tiszta tányér és evőeszköz pedig mindig kellő mennyiségben állt rendelkezésünkre. Hiányoltuk viszont a fogpiszkálót és reggelinél a hulladéktároló kis tartót, amely itthon is egyre több szállodában megtalálható, német területeken pedig elmaradhatatlan.
Sajnos az étteremmel kapcsolatos kellemes tapasztalatainkat teljes mértékben tönkretette az ott fogyasztott ebéd, amely szintén büfé rendszerű volt. Az ételek az előző vacsora maradékai voltak, ennek megfelelően szárazak és hidegek, a desszertes tálaknál még azt a fáradságot sem vették, hogy átrendezzék azokat, úgy helyezték az asztalra, ahogy előző este a vendégek otthagyták. Az étteremben két asztalnál velünk együtt összesen 3 vendég tartózkodott, így a vendégek száma megegyezett a pincérek számával. Ennek ellenére a kiszolgálás kiábrándító volt. Amint helyet foglaltunk egy pincér hölgy azonnal az asztalunknál termett és megkérdezte, hogy inni kérünk-e. Miután kértem a borlapot, azt szinte azonnal megkaptuk, melyről sikerült egy négyes borkóstolót kiválasztani. Elképzelésem szerint abban volt aperitifnek való, leveshez és főételhez illő. Kb. 5 percig semmi nem történt, ekkor odamentem a pulthoz és kérdeztem a személyzetet, hogy a kiválasztott borkóstolót felszolgálják-e az ebédhez. Igenlő válasz után megrendeltem azt, és közöltem elképzelésemet, hogy melyik italt mikor szeretném elfogyasztani. 5 percig szintén semmi nem történt, majd megunva a várakozást elfogyasztottam az előételt, levest, végül a főételt, de a bor még mindig sehol. Miután befejeztük az ebédet, kb. bő félóra elteltével megérkezett a borkóstoló is, mind a négy egyszerre. Legalább annak mind a minősége, mind a hőmérséklete kiváló volt. (De jó lett volna az ebédhez!) Ez ismét a szörnyű kategória.
A wellness részleg a szálloda méretéhez képest kicsinek tűnt, bár ott tartózkodásunk alatt nem tapasztaltunk zsúfoltságot. Tisztasággal nem volt gond, mindig, minden rendben volt. A jakuzzi hőmérséklete számomra kicsit hidegnek tűnt, de ez ízlés dolga, nem kifogásolható. A medence hőmérsékletét viszont kellemesnek találtam.
A szobákban és a közös helyiségekben található részletmegoldásokról lehetne vitatkozni, de az szintén ízlés dolga. Jónak tartottam az egyedi megoldásokra való törekvést, de bizonyos részletek enyhén szólva sem sikerültek. Nincs ellenérzésem a nyersbeton felületekkel kapcsolatban, hiszen ma már nálunk is tudnak ilyen felületeket kiváló minőségben előállítani, de sajnos itt nem jött össze. A felületek sok helyen javítottak, a zsalutáblák illesztésénél a beton kifolyt.
Alapvető tervezési hiba, hogy a wellness részleg gyalogosan csak az éttermen keresztül, a svédasztal előtt elhaladva közelíthető meg. Kiábrándító étkezés közben az éttermen fürdőköpenyben, papucsban, törülközővel átvonuló vendégek látványa. A wellness megközelíthető ugyan lifttel az étterem kikerülésével, de nem minden vendég használja ezt a megoldást.
Mindent egybevetve a kiváló borkínálat és az egyedi stílus miatt javaslom a szállodát, de ebéd fogyasztását mindenképpen elkerülendőnek tartom.

Sokkal jobb volt, mint amit vártunk. A kertre nyíló szoba például egy nagy meglepetés volt, amit a gyermekünkkel nagyon élveztünk. Olyan volt, mintha saját kertünk lett volna. Az ételek kifogástalanok voltak, sőt, megkockáztatom, hogy Magyarországon még szállodai félpanzión sehol nem ettünk ilyen finomakat. Külön köszönjük a séfnek! A szoba tiszta és hangulatos, a kiszolgálás is rendben volt. A wellness részleg is tökéletesen kielégítő, és hangulatos.

We originally wanted to have a romantic long-weekend with my husband, so he booked the honeymoon suite. But it had happened that Grandma had became ill and we had to take our little boy with us. It was quite funny, when my husband modified the booking and asked an extra child bed into the honeymoon suite :)
We liked the hotel very much. The hotel itself is really new, has a very good location, close to everything.
The honeymoon suite is lovely, spacious and nicely furnished, however the open bathroom with huge windows was a bit strange for us but unique as well. Has a very big shared balcony with the neighbours.
Only downside was that the sofa at the living room area was broken and was a bit uncomfortable to sleep even for the 4 years old kid.
We were satisfied with the food. They offered a nice selection of dishes, tasty and fresh.
The big dining room - or probably a kind of conference room - was a bit rigid and has no atmosphere, but as we were concentrating on the dishes and the wines, it wasn't a problem.
They have a playing room next to the restaurant. We had to try it out of course, well, they should purchase some more toys.
Staff was really friendly and helpful in the restaurant, at the reception and the room service too.
They offered some wine oriented evening programs, like wine tasting,presentation, evening discussions about wines, etc. Unfortunately we had no chance to participate, but next time we definitely will !!
Will return? Hopefully yes.
Would recommend to others ? Definitely.

We have spent two nights in this wine-spa themed hotel in February and have enjoyed our time there. It is in the center of Badacsony which I am afraid is a minus in the summe as it is among the less appealing places on the northern shore of the lake Balaton. In winter and snow, it was OK.
Pluses.
- very funky, trendy design, one of the best in the country. Rooms are well equipped and designed and they are also functional (which is not always the case in design hotels). The common areas, such as the lobby, the restaurant areas are bright and laid back.
- We had two connecting rooms travelling with our kids which fe found to be very convenient.
- staff are helpful and friendly
- being a wine hotel, they do have a fairly extensive wine list, and a nice wine bar.
Minuses:
- the HVAC system is not the best in winter as it only heats with air which may make your head melt and your feet cold at the same time- while being excessively noisy. The bathrooms have no separate heating which made them a bit cold.
- Food was adequate, good on one night, OK on the other.
-spa was a bit disappointing, the steam bath was not hot enough and not steamy enough, jacuzzi was a also a fairly basic one. The spa is OK, but if you want to specifically come for it, you will be disappointed.
Altogether, we had a nice and relaxing time for a competitive rate. I would return here- but only in the off-season.

Dear broomie, Thank you for taking your time to review our hotel. We are so happy that you enjoyed your winter stay. Badacsony is a great all year location having the best beaches for summer and great wines for the rest of the year. We are sorry for the malfunction of the AC. This is a great 4 star hotel with wine being the main theme. the hotel, services, design, food was outstanding. the only reason I gave only 4 stars is the unfortunate location. I used to come to Badacsony when I was a kid and the center looks exactly the same (really awful). this is not the fault of the hotel, but in summer the noise can be quite disturbing (june-August) and the whole area is not very nice (old crumbling buildings, kiosks etc). This is not the hotels fault, and I hope that something will be done about this because deserves better.
Now to all the positives:
design is excellent, interesting.
Food: we had half board and everything was great (maybe at peak time one more waiter would be needed)
Wine: great selection, reasonable prices
programmes: I really liked that there was something every day. quite famous Hungarian singers, winetour etc. I think this was a really big plus
Kids: we went with our 3 year old son and everything was available for him and all the staff really nice (playroom next to the restaurant is great for parents:)
Spa: different saunas, big enough swimming pool.
Room: we rented a family room with huge balcony and it was just lovely
Service:friendly, helpful
Overall: outside of the main summer season I would definately return as this was a great hotel. If you like wine and great food and lovely atmosphere you will love this place.

The hotel has an interesting interior design. The room are comfortable, although some details could be improved, e.g. shower cabin doesn't have a door and is made in a walk-in design (without any barrier to step in what I really like), however it would be useful if there is any small barrier like a rubber strip not to allow water to spread over the entire floor of the bathroom, which was the case in our room at least. Some functional elements of the furniture to put things into would also be very useful. It was surprising that they didn't change the towels. It was pretty quiet during our stay in the hotel.
The staff was friendly and welcoming. Wellness part of the hotel was of interesting design and free of charge. Food was very good. At the arrival we were offered one ticket/person for a glass of wine for free. It was nice. When we asked about local vines, we received a lot of information about vineyards around and types of wine they produce. We could taste different wines in vineyards on the way from the Badacsony mountain to the hotel (don't do it in the opposite direction - you will never get to the top of the mountain otherwise;) My favorite vine was Badacsony Muscotaly (white), but I also like Szurkebarat Pinot Gris (white) and Zweigelt (red, rather not from this region). We could also taste a couple of wines in the hotel and finally buy a couple of bottles in addition to those bought directly at the vineyards. It was very nice to spend a couple of evenings in local bars (downtown, not far from the hotel) and enjoy local wines and hungarians singing. The Balaton lake is very close to the hotel and for a small entry fee we could enjoy the warm, but rather muddy water of the lake.
It was a very relaxing time. I would highly recommend this place for those who want to escape from noisy places (I should add that we were there in early September). The only minus - it is difficult to get there without a car, but it was like an adventure (we were travelling by trains from Wien)

Our child enjoyed the playroom and while he was there we were (finally!) able to enjoy our breakfast. The food is good although more choice would be welcome! They offer quite a lot of programs (walks, bike rentals etc). Our room had a strong design I'm not sure everybody will love it, but we did.

Szuper elhelyezkedés, közel a belváros, a part és a pincék is. Kedves személyzet minden részlegen. A szoba, kényelmes és tiszta. A fürdőszoba viszont... ez a mozaik csempes megoldás tragédia, rengeteg helyen penészes. A nyitott zuhanyzó ötletet szenzációs, mert úszik az egész fürdő, nem egy nagy élmény a zuhanyzas. Emiatt nem kap 5-s értékelést csak.
A reggeli és a vacsora viszont ebben a hotel kategóriában csucs szuper! Változatos meg a reggeli is, a vacsora pedig egyszerűen szenzációs! A nap fénypontja. Olyan hideg előételek amilyen máshol sehol! És olyan finom savanyúságok, hogy már majdnem ahhoz kellett választani a foetelt :-)
A wellness így nyáron elegendő, kellemes:)
Mi biztosan visszajövünk a bosszantó fürdőszoba ellenére is, mert igazi kikapcsolódást nyújt a szálloda!
Ha esetleg ki lenne javítva a tervezésnél elrontott fürdő, akkor konkrétan minden igényt kielegitene!:)
