Detailed Reviews
We stayed at the boutique hotel for 3 nights Tues to Friday. It was very quiet. The hotel is on a small marina complex.
There is the hotel bar restaurant pool and small beach. As well as the hotel restaurant there are a couple of other restaurants within a 10 minute walk in the Marina. We spent a day at the Bank which has an amazing infinity pool overlooking the entrance to the harbour.
My husband did 2 dives with extra divers who are 5 mins walk from the hotel in the marina. They were well organised attentive dive leaders and he would highly recommend.
The food was very good quality at the hotel and the service was absolutely excellent. The front desk were extremely helpful
Alcohol is expensive (£40 for cheapest bottle of wine and £10 for a pint of beer) and not served between 3pm/ 6pm as in all Oman)
Would recommend a marina facing suite.

This hotel is situated in the beautiful scenic marina in Sifa... and is a perfect weekend getaway from Muscat, since it is little over an hours drive from the capital. Both the hotel and the very scenic drive; curving through huge mountains and winding up and down the hills as it meanders along the seaside at points is most gorgeous. It's also superb for picturesque photographs that discerning travelers are looking for...as one passes through old villages and can get to capture the goats, donkeys, camels and children that play in the streets.
Sifaway Botique Hotel has a huge beautiful swimming pool, gym, spa, bar and restaurant which provides a buffet lunch or you may choose to order off the menu. The ensuite bedrooms are large, spacious with comfortable beds and an awesome view of either the pool area or in addition the marina and ocean. The service is excellent and the food is really good. The only schlep is having to pay for your drinks at dinner (this is not included in your dinner, bed and breakfast offer. So be careful not to order too much because this could hike your bill rapidly. If you have not opted for dinner, there are other restaurants with equally delicious food in the Marina - a few minutes walk away. Overall this hotel definitely gets a thumbs up from me!

It’s the second time I’ve stayed here and both times were enjoyable and relaxing. The apartments are clean with a fully functioning kitchen and includes everything you need from crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The apartment I stayed in had a private garden which was perfect for having a bbq with friends. The rooms were a good size with comfortable beds. It’s a great place to escape to!

+1
Very quick and smooth booking via whats app. We have received the photos of the apartment and it looks good. This apartment has a nice view overlooking Marina in Sifa. Unfortunately this apartment has some drainage problems and we could not get rid of the bad smell for the whole 4 days! Air conditioning is so loud in every room, it sounds like airplane engine. We had to turned it off during the night so we could sleep, but it was hot of course then. The bed in master bedroom was very uncomfortable and it was falling apart as well. This apartment is used for holiday renting purposes so would expect the top hygiene especially now during pandemic. But it is not. Very old pillows and duvets without protective covers. Whoever own this apartment in Block 04, apt 205 needs to come to sense and start to maintain it and sort out the general hygiene issues while renting out as holiday home. Lights were not working properly, very poor lighting in the kitchen and no dustbin! We have enjoyed our stay outside of the apartment, but did not feel comfortable in mostly because of bad smell coming out from drainage and very loud air conditioning. Would not rented again this apartment.

For some reason every time I check in there is a difference in treatment between Omanis guests and Foreigner guests.
For Foreigner guests a helper will run to car parking to carry their luggage as Omani no buddy approaching me to help me currying my bags even when I approach them and they see me struggling with several bags they will do nothing and this scenario happens every time I come to this hotel. Another example, during check in a complimentary drinks will be served to the guests while they are waiting but I have noticed that these drinks are only been provided to Foreigner guests and not Omanis guests !!
Towels were missing and I had to wait 45 mint until they provided it to me the same happens when I requested Baby court for my Baby and I had to wait 45 mint to get it. Very poor room service. Tv remote were not working properly (it seems battery was the issue) but since it was taking very long from room service to provide a service, I didn’t bother asking them to change the battery (Remote battery issue is something I always had when I come to this hotel even thou I have always booked only in suits category but still getting the same issue)
I found Ant colony in one of the wood furniture
The hotel can not book a specific room or suit if you requested even if you booked very long in advance or one day before arrival !!
The Hotel will ask you for all your bank info over the phone and if you refused they will not book for you. This is totally not safe and wrong to share you bank info over the phone to anybody. Alternatives need to be provided.

This is our second time to be in Jebel siffah and first time in Sifawy botique hotel. This hotel is great. The swimming pool is located in front of the hotel. It is well maintained and is warm even during the cold seasons. They also have a lifeguard who is kind and attends to your needs at all times. The room is spacious and comfortable, everything you need is there. The best part is that all rooms have their own balcony so you can just relax and eat while enjoying the warm or cold weather. The breakfast is standard, same as all other hotels, bread, egg, sausage and coffee. This hotel has also a playroom for kids which has alot of stuff to keep your kids busy. The hotel is situated in an area near the beach and mountains. The area is wide and the view is fantastic, we enjoyed our late night and early walks, it is very relaxing and the place is the best place to unwind. My favorite part of this 2 day vacation is the journey going to the hotel, so many beautiful scenery that you can pass by going to the place from Muscat. Overall, this place is one of the best in Oman.

Very quiet and clean place to relax & chill.. Staff were all friendly and helpful; especially Ramakrishna and Sunil from reception.. The restaurant was average but costy, didn't enjoy the food a lot! The prices of rooms went down to the half the day after we booked which was very annoying and disappointing!!!

Dear _Asmn93, Thank you for taking your time to provide us with your experience at Sifawy Boutique Hotel. I am extremely apologetic for this unfavourable situation during your stay in particular about the restaurant. First of all, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have to personally discuss with the culinary team to avoid the recurrence. I highly appreciate your understanding and thank you for your kind words about our staff. I will certainly extend your compliments to Ramakrishnna and Sunil for their excellent service. We had booked a two bedroom apartment so we could all hang out for a friends birthday party. We requested close rooms together and were placed several buildings apart which made gatherings difficult. In our room, the toilet, dishwasher and oven didn't work. We also had a leaking ceiling. They never did fix the dishwasher as soon as they replaced it and we ran it the dishwasher leaked and the floor was all wet. Had to stop using it. Engineering spent many hours in our room trying to fix items not allowing us to leave and enjoy the area as we wanted to stay in the room while they worked. we were also placed on a high floor and were not notified of a lift so several trips had to be made to bring up the luggage and food supplies, etc. for the weekend. Lastly, we booked as a "member" rate thinking that was worth joining. When we got there they said that since it was a member rate which is actually a third party company they cannot do anything to cancel or adjust our room cost. Even though we booked through the hotel website! Eventually we only received 15% off for all the hassle. Think twice if you want to stay there.

The air conditioning in our room did not work. There was no cool air coming from the one near the bedroom. I called the front desk 3 times to report this. Workers came into the room multiple times as late as 11:30pm but were unable to fix it. I received a call at 12:30am waking my children up and was told it was fixed. It was not.
When I complained to the front desk the following morning, I was told I should have reported it not working again after the 12:30am phone call and therefore would not be given a discount even after the terrible night stay. I asked to speak to the manager who was not available. I left my email address to be contacted by the manager. He never contacted me. I emailed the manager directly to state these issues. He has never responded.

Our villa was everything we needed - loads of space for the six of us and it could have slept more had we been a bigger party. Comfy beds, masses of space, a huge dining/games table and a very usable kitchen. Because we had a ground floor apartment with a garden we were able to barbeque in the evening which was perfect. Our garden also adjoined the marina just metres from the jetski hire so instead of walking we conserved our full energy for pounding the waves!
