Back from a recent one night stay on our way south with our three year old son. The property itself is pretty impressive from the outside and the grounds are nice too. Inside it is quite rustic and our room was nothing special, with one of the least inviting beds I've seen in a while. You do expect rustic for... More

Fantastic quiet location and beautiful Chateau. Our 4th time staying and it continues to please. The restaurant has got better with the menu choices and food being some of the best in Champagne. The Maitre'd and all his staff our exceptional in their service and passion for their job. The cheese board is to die for! While the service remains... More

This was our 2nd stay at the Chateau d'Etoges, which is situated in the heart of the champagne region. We stayed in the Orangerie during our fist visit, this time we booked into a 2 bedroom room in the main Chateau. The room was spacious and well furnished, with views over the moat and gardens. Etoges is a small village... More

We loved this hotel. A lovely old chateau with lots of character and nicely maintained. Friendly staff who could not have been more helpful. Good breakfast for the money. Loved all the waterfalls and fountains in the grounds. We had the tower room which was amazing as we could look up the moat on both sides of the hotel, was... More

It is the second time we stopped here on our way between London and Austria. The hotel is a moated castle with old world charm and decor, but with all the modern amenities. Our second floor room was large and comfortable with a nice view. The dinner and champagne tasting was excellent. The only drawback was a very slow service.... More

Lovely hotel and location Great restaurant no air-con in the room which was a shame , but we were moved into a better room on arrival , so cannot really complain ... but with the intense heat , it would have been better than a fan

An absolutely beautiful setting and a nice room however, the star in the crown was the restaurant. We ate from the set menu, fine dining at its best. The service was first class and although we ate late, 9pm and after a long drive we were not disappointed. We would definitely return.

Easy to find, lovely room and food, and very helpful staff. May not be easy on the cobbles for those with walking mobility limitations. Moated chateau is very pretty. Easy to find and continue our journey home next day
