This is my 3rd time stay in this hotel within 13 months. I received a free complimentary deluxe room due to courtesy of Genting Resort membership which is opened to non muslim . Although I stayed in a room with ash tray provided, I did not smell any cigarette smoke. It was clean in the room but not the bathroom... More

It has been sometimes since my last visit here. This hotel is still the same. Not much changes from outer look. The only extreme difference is you can't find the outdoor theme park as it is being demolished to build a new one. What new things I can find from First World Hotel is: 1. You can use the check... I stayed with my family at the First World Hotel for three nights in December. The location is excellent, but the hotel was below expectations. Genting highlands theme park and the adjacent hotels are more than 1800 m above sea level. The weather is cold, unlike in Kuala Lumpur which is hot and humid at that time of year. By... More

Best and cheap Indian food available at Baru Muhibah: at B5 near the SKYWAY ticket counter, catch the LIFT at the end to B5. This is at walkable distance from FW hotel. Specially, Kerala food available. The restaurant is run by Jamal TMK. Please note that this resaurant cannot locate through any maps, you just explore it!

The Hotel is built just in middle of the Theme Park. Its the ulimate place to stay due to its locationa and accessbility. The rooms are clean but quite small. Most of them with no view. Certainly not Luxury hotel. There is no Customer service experience as It is sooo big and soo many people. Breakfast Buffet is like eating... More

Nice stay especially for the price paid (SGD 20 for one night). The room was decent size with twin beds. Arriving at the hotel we self checked in and the process was quick and smooth. Perhaps because of this, we couldn't select room with queen bed and got one with twin beds. It was ok as we just joined them... More

This is basically a budget hotel with small rooms but include all essential facilities. We were surprised by the way the hotel is managed it has around 6000 rooms in all and holds the guiness world record. Since we visited in off season we manage to avoid big ques for check in. In fact, we checked in at 12:30 hrs... More

I went to Genting highlands as part of my honeymoon trip and my travel agent booked a deluxe room which was quite ordinary Although this is the second largest hotel in the world in terms of the number of rooms, the deluxe rooms were not so special. However the hotel is located in the best location when compared to the... More

This was our 3rd trip to Genting Highland and 2nd time at First World Hotel. It’s located on hills, so the climate is always pleasant. From airport it’s around 1hr 30mins drive by taxi (MYR 200 approx.) and around 45mins from city center (MYR 100 approx.). Do note, OUTDOOR THEME park is closed starting September 2013 till next 3 years... More
