Our two week stay at the Stirabout Lane B&B was one of the highlights of our time in Ireland. Daphne is so warm and wonderfully funny that we felt like family right away. The room was spic and span with wonderful toiletries and lovely flowers and decorations throughout the home. We could and did go to Daphne with any logistical...

Booked a family room while attending a wedding in Macreddin Village which is a 10 min drive away. Lovely family room and a fantastic breakfast and the genuinely friendly owners even brought us to collect our car the following morning as we had taken a taxi the night before, best service we have ever received and will certainly return here...

We arrived at Stirabout lane after a day of flying and driving and once entering the B&B I came at peace and rest. The room was super cozy, well decorated and looked after with eye for detail. He towels big and extremely soft. Coffee and tea available. We had a great sleep. Just about 50m you find Jackobs Well, one...

Travel enough for work and stay in a variety of hotels and B&Bs, but this by far was one of my best experiences. Spent 2 nights in this brilliant B&B. Daphne, the hostess aka owner is lovely. Very welcoming and full of advice of where to eat and what to do in the area. Made me miss chatting to my...

This B&B was run by wonderfully helpful, well-informed hosts providing great bed, superbly clean room and bathroom, delicious breakfast, superb service, amazing garden, off-road parking, nice food and visits nearby. Paul and Daphne did everything they could to make our stay a wonderful one. Exemplary service and extraordinary attention to detail. Our sincere thanks to them both.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Stirabout Lane. It's a quaint, clean, lovely property. Daphne, the proprietor was very sweet, with a clear focus on her guest's needs. An added bonus was the absolutely beautiful garden behind the house. Here's a tip: Room 1, in which we stayed, fronts on the street. Despite Rathdrum being a small town,...

Following the sign to parking for Stirabout Lane off the main street in Rathdrum, I thought I'd made a mistake. The alley was barely wider than my car and blocked by a huge gate at the end. The moment Daphne Cullen greeted me at the door I knew all would be well. We went through the house and the dedicated...

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Stirabout Lane. We found the accommodations to be clean and well kept. Although our room was not spacious, it wasn't tiny and had its own electric tea pot. We enjoyed the variety of breakfast choices which were well prepared. If you haven't had the courage to try the black and white pudding, this is...

I was initially disappointed that I couldn't find a room in Laragh near Glendalough, but this turned out to be a blessing because we wound up at this wonderful B&B in Rathdrum, about 10 mins drive from Laragh. I agree with all of the excellent reviews already posted here. Daphne and her husband were wonderful hosts and breakfast was excellent....
