Hotel is situated on the great location and offers enough comfort for price you should pay. Staff is so polite, food is good and fresh building needs renovation, but if you need less comfort, 3 stars, it worth
Hote Zenit is above my expectations. I am not looking for luxury so this beautiful hotel really suits me. We spent a wonderful 10 days at the Hotel Zenit in Neum. We took a room with a direct sea view so the room was big enough with a beautiful view. The hotel staff is extremely friendly. The food in the hotel is excellent, homemade, fresh. They have a restaurant on the beach in the shade where you can eat fresh fish, shrimp or something else you want. The hotel is older but that is what gives it beauty. Who loves tradition will surely enjoy. Who is looking exclusively for luxury, I advise you to find accommodation in a new hotel. You have an elevator in the hotel, a small part is in the stairs but that is not much. You can find peace in the hotel, also when you go downstairs you can enjoy a walk or live music in the hotel garden or some other nearby. Everything is close to you: beaches, cafes, restaurants, shops, kiosks. Behind the hotel at the entrance across the street you have a large supermarket. All in all a fantastic holiday If you want a comfortable holiday, friendly staff and fantastic food, choose Hotel Zenit.…
I spent 1 night in Zenit. The hotel is old, dirty, no facilities for disable people, the layout very chaotic and out of logic. They keep your passports for the whole stay duration. The service is rude. Overall the hotel is a bit post apocalyptic.
First I will point out that the staff is very kind, smiling and always ready to help. I have not seen a friendlier staff in a hotel for a long time. Everything else is bad. There is no air conditioning or heating in the rooms. There is one small fan that absolutely does not help at a temperature of 35 degrees in August. The rooms are not clean, ants walk on the floor, generally everything is old and it is necessary to renovate the rooms, change the furniture and put air conditioners. For dinner we did not have anything to eat, literally you have 5 dishes and none of them are good. I'm not picky for food, but there was nothing to eat there. Also, the water taken in the restaurant tastes funny - I do not recommend drinking it. Buy and bring your water for dinner. I will not even mention the mosquito's! A disaster! Wifi doesn't work except maybe in the reception area. We spent 4 days at the hotel and we are very disappointed.…
This hotel is in the need of thorough restoration, everything is still more or less as it used to be in the age of real socialism when it was built. Unfortunately the time has left it behind. So what they charge is definitely too much!
The structure is, or better WAS, superb. Unfortunately it has not maintenance since... ages?! Personnel is ok, helping in case of necessity. Food not too many chooses, but good. After an heavy restructuring it could be a very nice and good hotel!
This Hotel is the reason I created a TripAdvisor account. Time clearly froze here when Tito died, as everything is original from the 1970's. The rooms are sections off in blocks, making you feel very secluded (My particular "block" was completely empty and had no lights, and seemed like something out of a horror movie when walking through it during night time). The rooms are very sloppy, the TV's are so tiny they're practically useless. The Wi-Fi is non existent as signals cannot pass through the super thick walls. Outside there are spiral staircases that lead to the beach, but there are actual calcium deposits on the stairs dripping due to such low maintenance. The beach is also pretty garbage, and I'd recommend staying away from the city of Neum if you can. If you have to go to Neum, I'd tell you to stay at the Grand Hotel. Croatian beaches are far better (this is coming from a Bosnian). From now on, I'll drive around this city when travelling.…
I was here in peak season. The food is good, but in limited variety. The rooms could need some improvement. The view is very nice, and you can also get a better view if you book a room with a balcony. The sea is just below the hotel. The staff is nice and helpful. Would recommend if your standards aren't high.
Stayed two days at the hotel, room used only for the sleeping, so it was ok. The room was far from the reception, but close to the beach. Basic, really needs repairments, the whole hotel, soon. Food was ok, breakfast better than dinner. Wifi only around reception. Staff not interested for anything, not polite at all.
Go there to see hotel that looks like it was built in late 60. Seems that not so much was done here since then. Food is acceptable for cheap standard. Location in the centre of small city with sea side in range of 70 meters. There is couple spots on sea side you can sunbath but no any sand. Nice promenade to walk and view to sunset in narrow bay is a rewarding other disadvantage of the place.
