The food is good, nothing spectacular though. Lots of fruits, vegetables and meat. The waffles, and fruit salads, are one of the most popular meals, but I have to say that they put too much sugar in them. Also, if you eat outside, everybody snokes. This is also a downside on the beach. I would appreciate, and surely give a better grade, if there were less sugar, less cigarettes, and more water for the hotel guests.
On the beach, there is a nice restaurant, with live music every night. The atmosphere is good, but again everybody smokes, and the music taste could be better. I mean, folk is ok, but turbo-folk is not. The music can be heard in the hotel also, but it turns down after 23h, so the sleep quality is ok.
There are two great pools, and the beach is accessible via elevators and a tunnel. The sea is nice, but the beaches are small and overcrouded. Some people decide to pay 7KM for a place on the beach, but you will surely touch other people if you even move an inch. The best way is to simply go to the beach in the morning and in the evening, swim, and dry out on the walkway.
clean. Rooms, Food, pools, beach are great, and lovely and helpfull staff. The Hotel looks Like almost 5 star. Only the elevators, 3 aviable from reception to the beach, sometimes you have to wait for them. The Hotel offere a great and big restorante whit tasty and fresh Food. 2 pools, one whit salty water on the 3 floor and one on the top od the Building the infinity pool. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable, and have a big shower. The beach is clean and have Space for the guests. You can eat and drink on the beach all you nead is there, and ist Years it's cheap. A coup of coffe is about 1.5 to 2 KM equals about 0.75 to 1 EURO. Nightlife is cool.
OK hotel, we had a large room.
It is a great tourist hotel.
Be careful if you arrive by plane, after 9 p.m., the restaurant is closed so you will not have to eat.
Restaurant opening hours: 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
For my part the staff was quite pleasant, only speaking English, except the very unpleasant bar staff.
We took the all-inclusive package.
The food is good, meal, lunch, not enough variation for my taste
Terrible coffee.
Not great fruit juice.
Hotel is located in Bosnia. Personally although we had everything included, we went to have lunch at a small bar just above the hotel, because the bars and restaurants in Bosnia are really cheap, and better.
And for the restaurant for lunch and dinner the same, in Neum there are nice little restaurants (1 kg fry pan for 8 e,)
For 10th you eat very well.
If you don't have the all-inclusive option, don't hesitate to go out to Neum because the same drinks as the hotel are 2 A3 times cheaper.
If you go with Fram, be careful because we did the Dubrovnik excursions with them but you pay 60 e per person just to take the bus, nothing is included and when you arrive in Dubrovnik everything is chargeable.
35th ramparts
27 kodrums
And for other excursions it's the same you only pay for the bus journey.
The 2nd day we rented a car because the excursions with Fram we found were a scam (very expensive just to take the bus).
Car rental is from 40 e minimum to 60 e per day.
I recommend this mode of transport, you can do the same excursions as Fram but cheaper, and visit other nice little towns.
Don’t hesitate to sit in small cafes or restaurants where there are few tourists, in general they are cheaper.
For your gifts, it is cheaper in Bosnia and you can find the same as in Croatia.
And be careful if you are by car, going to Croatia or returning to Bosnia, the border has crossed.
Be careful for smokers, don't laugh with that (2 packs no more).
And don't hesitate, Bosnia is just as beautiful and the people are nicer.
The beach is awful, they placed so much of the beach beds that you cant even walk to the sea without hussle. The beds are charged for, of course, even for the guests of the hotel. (7€ for bed/parasol combo per day)
The elevators are a special story, I have a feeling I spent half of the vacation waiting for one. There are only 3 of them, which is ridicoulosly low for a hotel of this size. With COVID reccommendations that only 2 persons can be in the same elevator, you waste so much time waiting in the lobby. If you are with baby stroller or some beach luggage and cant walk 4-5 stories every time you need to go to the beach or have a meal in the restaurant, take my advice and go 30 minutes earlier.
And dont get me started on a restaurant. While the food is nice, the restaurant seems to be full beyond capacity. Ive waited for 10 minutes + in line to get to the food. And while the staff wears masks and measures temperatures every morning, no one else seems to care about preventive measures.
Wifi signal is so bad, that you won't be able to do anything besides sending messages. Dont even try to bring work with you, as the thick walls dont allow much of 4g signal into the hotel.
Parking is full beyond capacity, cars are constantly blocked. They gave me a piece of paper that says i am a guest of a hotel, and told me to park anywhere. I had to leave my car about 700-800m from the hotel.
Food is fine but drinks are pricey for the country.
The biggest drawback for this place is the tiny car park which has no rules. I booked parking (probably like everyone else) but the place has over 500 rooms and the car park holds about 50 cars! The girl at check in just shrugged. You have a choice, park 2 miles away and walk in or abandon your vehicle to the lawless melee in front of the hotel. If I were you, I’d check your insurance policy.
Beach is far from hotel and you have to
pay extra for sun umbrella and lounge chairs. Shower on the beach is also charged extra. Beach is full of large stones where you have a big chance to get hurt. Only good thing was a pool area (both pools are in good condition). I certainly believe this place is overpriced and far better accommodations are available in Neum.
Although we expected to have a parking lot, that wasn't the case. When we booked our room, I pointed out that we need a free parking space. I had to park my car couple hundred meters away from hotel, because all of parking lots were taken. I've lost whole hour just to transfer my baggage to the room, and on check-out from the hotel, same thing all over again. I've never seen anywhere else that guest of the hotel have to pay for parasol, beach loungers and showers on the beach. And I've never seen that private hotel beach can be used by non-hotel guests. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for family with kids because there is no safe place for small kids to play. There is one small playground but adults have to be present all the time due to position of that play ground. Lots of places for kids to fall and hurt themself.
First they charge for guests' sunbeds and parasols 4€ per piece, and it's the hotel's beach! Plus you also have to pay 0.25 Cents to get a shower on the beach.
It seems no one cleans the beach, all the garbage remains on it every day and people keep throwing more. I have never seen something like this, that workers leave the beach dirty and then charge for the use of sunbeds and parasols.
And by far the worst thing: The receptionist that yells on the guests constantly (she has long black hair, I didn't remember the name)!
We asked why would a receptionist be yelling at other guests, and they answered that apparently people that are not guests of the hotel use the hotel elevator.
There is a solution for that, and it is certainly not yelling at the reception by a hotel receptionist. Find another solution!
Imagine entering a „serious“ hotel and listening to someone yelling at the guests. I was shocked!
False advertising, the hotel is not in Croatia but in Bosnia, waste of time at the borders, this information is not clear in the title of the trip.
Low-end food, industrial dry croissants, cold pancakes and donuts, industrial jam in mini plastic pots, uncooked vegetables and overcooked fish/meat, nothing is homemade, canned pineapples, cold frozen fries, industrial sauces, not vinaigrette, flavorless cheese with a good plastic taste, no local cheese or a small plate to share for 150 people with 3 spoons of cream cheese, tasteless industrial desserts, moldy and rotten oranges and grapefruit (it's a shame! ), drinks and poor quality table wine.
Packed lunches with a sandwich and a croissant in a bag, we asked twice for fruit without getting it because we didn't want the sandwiches.
Hotel shared with the locals, unpleasant staff who do not speak French but smiling and attentive with the locals. Only the restaurant staff and the maids are pleasant, the bartender does not know how to make cocktails and adds water.
Very loud music during the day near the 2 swimming pools and aquagym right next to the sauna, so impossible to rest in these slots, in the evening too, difficult to rest at the hotel, difficult to have clean towels for the swimming pool , often out of stock we spent our time going back and forth to be able to change them.
We had a very decent room but some people complained about hot water cuts in the evening.
We do not recommend this hotel.
The swimming pools are great and despite the size of the hotel there are always deckchairs available. The gym with a good sea view and the ping pong tables allow you to let off some steam. Old mini golf course. Access to the beach is convenient but there is no area dedicated to the hotel and the small beaches are covered with paid deckchairs, why does the hotel not negotiate an area for its customers?! People put their towels down where they can. The animation team, reduced to 2 people, does not have the means to organize many activities and people participate little. Good luck to them because the facilitators are great!
No all-inclusive area at the swimming pools, either you pay or you go down to the bar towards reception to get your drink!
The buffets are not very varied but not bad apart from the terrible coffee. The staff barely speak French for a fram, which is a shame, fortunately the center manager and the quality manager try to help. Free WiFi in the hotel but be careful it's Bosnia so not Europe don't forget to remove your mobile data that
it's expensive ! Finally, passing through customs is obligatory on each excursion to Croatia and it can quickly take time, 30 minutes to 1 hour of waiting. The excursions offered and the French-speaking guides are great and not to be missed!
