We booked 5 night stay and in the end had to leave earlier after 3 nights because of the hotel facilities and room provided. These people have no idea what a "park view" is. Biggest issue was our room which was located more like in a basement whereby we had to turn the lights on during the day to see anything (yes - that much dark). Humidity in the room is alsi an ossue!!! Food was below average - same things (more/less) were offered every day/morning. Phone (landline) in the room was not working and no staff appeared to fix this, eventhough we reported an issue. Generally, staff is very unpolite. WiFi stability in the room is a lottery (reconnecting each 30 seconds) and the position of the room was in a corner of the hotel where no mobile network is available. Staff very unpolite and unhelpfull. Beach is far from hotel and you have to pay extra for sun umbrella and lounge chairs. Shower on the beach is also charged extra. Beach is full of large stones where you have a big chance to get hurt. Only good thing was a pool area (both pools are in good condition). I certainly believe this place is overpriced and far better accommodations are available in Neum.…
Room not clean , stink smell, when hotel is full the service is bad , sweming pool very nice but water are cold The food is the same every day Long way to the beach by waking The old section is not recommended, passing between the elevators is not comfortable and the staff are not hallpeful with the luggage
There is no smile in the reception and they are not responsive and they deal with a lack of respect for the guest، We are used to respect and appreciation in Europe hotels but in this hotel there is no and also our room has a bad smell and I called the reception to change it and they did not respond
Reception staff 👎 I just checked in the first impressions was the reception staff, I did not see any smile on their faces, and when we headed to the wrong alivator, they did not direct us in the right one, in addition to the room it has a very bad smell Bad choice
Horrible stay, checked in at 8 PM booking 2 rooms for 5 people and a kid, checkin was smooth with Bozana, after seeing the room we contacted the reception to fix the bed as my daughter will sleep in the middle however *Nikolina (receptionist)* replied with a very rude way which end up the call hanging up on my face, I approach the reception and she started to scream “This is my last working day and I don’t give a f**k” I requested to talk to another employee she didn’t help and she started to talk in her own language which I don’t understand. Next day we approach the reception again to talk to the manager *Ivica* showed no empathy and change the room but with the same issue and he had no hospitality sense whatsoever. Adding to the rudeness of the reception staff, hotel is not clean, roof pool had nice view but very cold you can not enjoy it. Over all horrible stay and it’s so over priced.…
Really enjoyed it. You could really get the most of your Neum stay with multiple pools and elevator access almost at the beach. Best hotel Gym I have ever visited. It is not modern luxury resort but it is not what you pay for either. Could possibly have more activities for regular hotel guest and not only the inclusive guest.
This hotel is pure rubbish. I will never enter Hotel Grand again! First they charge for guests' sunbeds and parasols 4€ per piece, and it's the hotel's beach! Plus you also have to pay 0.25 Cents to get a shower on the beach. It seems no one cleans the beach, all the garbage remains on it every day and people keep throwing more. I have never seen something like this, that workers leave the beach dirty and then charge for the use of sunbeds and parasols. And by far the worst thing: The receptionist that yells on the guests constantly (she has long black hair, I didn't remember the name)! We asked why would a receptionist be yelling at other guests, and they answered that apparently people that are not guests of the hotel use the hotel elevator. There is a solution for that, and it is certainly not yelling at the reception by a hotel receptionist. Find another solution! Imagine entering a „serious“ hotel and listening to someone yelling at the guests. I was shocked!…
Mixed feelings. On the one hand probably the best hotel in town with great facilities. On the hand sort of not really well maintained Cleanliness could be improved. The staff was not really nice nor professional. Perhaps a cultural thing. I dont know but it seemed like we were not really welcome.
We stayed at the Grand Hotel Neum while driving from Split to Dubrovnik. The rooms are very nice as are the restaurants and bars. Going from the hotel to the beach you go through and old bomb shelter. Which I thought was very interesting. My only wish is they had some type of historical explanation on who built it and maybe even used to area to give tours. The staff are friendly but speak less English than in Croatia. The roof top pool is very nice and is deep for a hotel in Europe and has a splendid view. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, but not exceptional, but the view from the restaurant is very nice.
This is probably one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had so far. Not only was the staff extremely helpful and friendly, the food was delicious, rooms were super clean and comfortable and you have everything you could possibly want to have at the hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Easy access to the beach. But what made this extremely enjoyable was the employees at the hotel. Such hard working people!! They did everything they could to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Big shout out to the kind receptionists, the massage ladies, and pretty much everyone at the bars and pool area. I don’t remember all their names now but you guys are all awesome and when I come back I hope to see you all again! Thanks for everything!!
