We had an amazing one week stay at Palladium Imbassai. From the travel club staff to the restaurant staff, everyone was welcoming and friendly. The remodeling and opening of the signature level clubs was a really nice treat and we enjoyed them fully! My husband and I spent a lot of time at the spa. The masseuses were really great and we loved the juice bar and facilities. We also took a kayaking trip with Thor which we thoroughly enjoyed! Thanks Thor for taking care of us. And thanks Emmanuela and Alvaro for taking great care of our travel club needs. Until next time!!
My husband and our 2yo daughter stayed at the resort for 4 days for a friends wedding and we had a terrible experience. Starting from the check in: we traveled with some friends so we were in 3 rooms and we requested that our rooms were close together. The front desk said that unfortunately our rooms were already sorted out and only two rooms were in the same villa, the other was in a villa completely separated across the entire complex and there was nothing that they could do about it. Arriving at our room the smell of mold was overwhelming, had to leave the balcony window open for the whole day in order to come back and be able to sleep. The room was incredibly dark and outdated. The bed and pillows were comfortable though. Don’t be fooled by the “all inclusive” claim. A lot of services offered have extra fees. The a lá carte restaurants (steak, Japanese, Mediterranean) are super hard to get a reservation. And you only have a limited amount of reservations depending on the number of nights you stay at the hotel. For example: we had a 4day/3night reservation so we could only go to 1 dinner até the a lá carte restaurants. We did the check in and IMMEDIATELY tried to make a reservation and they only had one spot available in one of the restaurants at 6:30PM at the Japanese restaurant which is a very early time when you’re in a resort enjoying pool and beach. The food there was quite good and I’d like to highlight the service of manager Timóteo that was the most caring and helpful staff in our whole stay! On the other hand the Agda buffet (the main restaurant) is a big disappointment!! They have a big variety of options but all tasteless, underseasoned. The deserts might be the worst, they look beautiful but all taste the same and they don’t even taste good. Breakfast is a bit better considering it is less elaborate. The Poseidon buffet on the beach is even worst. They have these big jars with pickled options that look disgusting. The food options are even worse than Agda. The overall service is just bad. We had a lot of rain in one of the days of our stay. And all the buildings (villas, restaurants, spa, etc) are separate, with no covered path/connection between them. We went to the Agda restaurant for dinner and when we finished It was raining. So we asked for umbrellas in the reception and they said they didn’t have enough for all guests, but we could wait for the golf car to take us to our villa, but they only had ONE driver for the night, only 5 seats only for each drive, and a big line of other guests waiting! They have more than 600 ROOMS in the whole complex!!! So we had to walk to our villa (the most distant one) in pouring rain with my sleeping 2yo (she obviously woke up as soon as we started our walk). I could keep on giving examples of more episodes of bad service, bad organization, but I feel like I have made it clear that this is NOT a 5-star hotel! They might have the status but they don’t make you feel comfortable, well served, or in any way luxurious like a 5-star hotel should!…
A five day period that really surprised me. We could enjoy a lot everything that the resort could offer us. Definitely somewhere to go back and to indicate for friends. A very prepared team, wonderful accommodations. Thank you all!!!
My husband and I stayed at the Grand Palladium in Bahia, Brazil. It was our very first time visiting South America and it was a trip we will never forget. Although we do not speak any Portuguese, the staff was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. In particular, Adriano who works in the premium villa was particularly helpful. He walked around the property with us when we arrived and showed us where everything was. He was a great resource our entire trip. We also appreciated Josmar (mesonero) who practiced his English with us and made us feel comfortable every time we visited the beach restaurant. The friendly faces who work at the premium bar on the beach were phenomenal and made our time all the more fun—Ainöa, Machado, Nilda, and Josenildo—thank you for the drinks and the good times! Transportation to and from the airport was a breeze thanks to Mario, the taxista who made sure we got where we needed to go safely. We also had the pleasure of visiting Praia do Forte and Marcos, our taxista that day, was a pleasure to talk to and he continued to follow up with us after our day trip to see if there were any other places we wanted to visit. We loved the beach views, the food, the fun atmosphere at the pool, and the accommodations were spectacular. But the staff at the Grand Palladium were what made our stay so great. We will be back!!…
Best honey moon. Amazing service and location. Everything was a pleasure. Just the Japanese restaurant could have a better service but all the rest was amazing. I hope to come back in a future not to far for a next honey moon.
The Type of room I Booker was Not available when I arrived, there was a miscommunication between the hotel and the travel assistant company. Could not book all available restaurants nor go twice to the most liked one(s)
All places, foods and drinks prepared with care for a better experience in the Grand Palladium Spa. The staff has exceptional service. Congratulations if your choice to next travel and enjoy a wonderful resort.
It was an early programed family trip, organized by G.A.S consulting for consultants and family. We supposed to relax and participate in educational events related to Company activities, we relaxed but all events related to consultants was suspended.
Just spent 4 nights here. Fantastic staff (if only we could’ve seen their smiling faces, next time hopefully no masks), great room except no hot water for shower. Grounds and pool impeccable and relaxing. Beach was a blast especially the bar and buffet so yum! Specially restaurants very good, but found meats at Brasilian and reg. buffet mostly overcooked. Very nice touch that buffet choices also described in English. As a perk we got to go to the hydo pool and it was a highlight. Set back from beach but a quick bus or cart ride away, only old bus used desperately needs to be electric as smelling desil fuel during ride yuk. Work carts on site same as some loud and fumes. Other big + no tipping (just hope staff is getting living wage) unlike resort we stayed at in Mexico. Super value, fantastic culture & everyone in Brasil taking covid seriously, no anti-mask nonsense like the USA, bravo Brasil!…
The hotel and its service are amazing, UNLESS you have some food restriction (allergies or intolerance), than they will just offer you whatever they have or give suggestions as: "why don't you order a pizza without cheese?"
